We love Donatos and the employees at this location are wonderful so I have no complaints with them, but I do with their management. We arrived at 11:20, we live an hour away, sign on door said open at 11, but door was locked. I called and was told that they were so busy that they hadn't unlocked the doors. Someone finally unlocked the door 5 minutes later. I apologized if I sounded hateful when I called, I was told that the store manager was a no show, other employee had just arrived and he was doing his best to fill orders. We could tell that he was completely stressed. We got our food rather quickly and it was excellent, no complaints on the employees that were working that morning. read more

Ordered $70+ worth of pizza and asked our dasher to grab paper plates while they were there. Guy gave her a hard time about it and gave us 5 paper plates for 10 guys. That's just bad customer service. No matter what excuse the company gives. Pizza was good tho. read more

Very good service here. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was exceptional.

The only pizza that we have ever had that you can't tell the difference between the regular pizza and the gluten free version. We live in WV and don't have any Donatos in our state but anytime we drive by one in Ohio, we try to get it to take back. It was delicious as always. read more

Can't blame it on Covid because the Circleville store has excellent service. The Chillicothe store seems to punish you by not sending everything in your order if you use Doordash instead of their delivery drivers. Maybe I was just salty because they didn't send any salad dressing even though I ordered and paid extra. I had their entree salad as a reorder but it wasn't prepared the same as the last time; missing ingredients that I again paid extra for. Even the meatballs sucked. They didn't taste anything like the meatballs from the Circleville store. I have no idea what went wrong and I think it's wrong of Donato's to make Doordash eat the refund since it was Donato's that couldn't fill the order correctly. Needless to say, it will be awhile before I ever order Donato's again and never again from the Chillicothe store. read more

Absolutely trash. Sat in line for over an hour to pick up our food. all for it to be cold and a rude employee to be at the window. If you cant produce your product fast enough and with quality. Close your store until you can run it properly. This is the SECOND time this has happened in the past two months. We thought second chances were a thing. Ordered at 630 online said ready by 715 got email said pizza has left building didnt receive pizza till almost 800 pretty much had to reheat since it was cold. We have ordered from Donatos for years, but all of that has sadly come to an end after our last experience. We ordered delivery online and received an email with are estimated delivery time. Now let me preface this by saying it was a Friday night and I know how busy they can be, so I was expecting it to be there right on time. However an hour then an hour and a half after estimated delivery time, I phoned the restaurant to see what was going on. The female that answered the phone was rude from the start. I informed her we had ordered online, gave the estimated delivery time and asked if she could tell me if the food had left. Was very rudely asked how should she know, then I asked again for an ETA and was told again she didn't know they were busy. I told her I understood being busy I just needed to know if we should cancel our order or not,( granted this is now almost 2 hours after they should've delivered) I was very rudely told " I have no idea, I dont know what you want me to tell you, at this point I was angry but before I could say anything I was put on hold. When she finally came back to the line (after another 10 minutes) I asked to speak to a manager. Explained the situation to the manager who then asks where my order was, in the background you hear a voice say it's been sitting here. The manager then apologizes and says we will send it out now, I asked if it would be hot and if we were going to get a discount considering the time and the rudeness. He again apologizes and says of course I will refund you, would you like a store credit or back to your card. I of course said back to my card. Shortly after we finally received our food. The pizza had clearly been rebaked to heat it up as it was burnt all around the edges. Then I check to see if he credited back my card and he refunded 5.00 which was the tip I had added for the driver. Not only was the food late but it was burnt then the ride customer service, then a 5.00 refund? This store has now lost our loyal business and I would not recommend to anyone! read more

HUGE disappointment. In fact, both the food and the service were SO bad that I was downright angry when I left. I was excited about trying Donatos and brought my 9 year old daughter along, telling her how great the pizza was going to be. Oddly, there wasn't ONE customer in the place on a Saturday afternoon, but now I understand why. The manager walked by us twice and never acknowledged our presence and the cashier/order taker never once smiled or made us feel glad we came in. They claim to place "edge to edge" toppings and I even ordered double pepperoni, yet the pepperoni was thinly spread. They overcooked it as well so the crust was a hard hockey puck. Oh, but here was the best part: The manager served it to us, simply placing it on the table and walking away with no greeting or pleasantness. As she walked away I asked for napkins.....she was standing right next to them and could have handed some to us (she was 4 feet from my table), but she pointed to the napkins and said "they're right here" and she walked away. Peachy, huh? My daughter said it was the worst pizza she ever had. It truly was. I cannot fathom why the franchisee hasn't fired the useless losers working there. Remember, we were the only ones in the place, but as we got up and walked out, the manager looked right at us and didn't say a word.....no "thank you", no "goodbye"....just a blank stare. I generally don't write many reviews at all, and I always visit a restaurant 3 times before deciding if its good or bad, but my experience at this place was SO bad that I feel obligated to warn others before they throw away their hard earned money at this Donatos. This was a major disappointment and I will never let them see a dime of my money again. Be warned. read more
