I am unsure if this, the original Riverside location on Riverwalk Pkwy, is closed. It was making a delivery to Inn that led to spotting this Soul food spot. Inside it's a vibrant, inviting yellow themed front space and dining room. Very conducive to good moods. I decided that the mini combo, with one side and cornbread, was a good value at $13.99, whereas the full combo adds a second side and costs $17.99. Lots of choices, including several styles of chicken, the smothered pork chops both sounded, and looked good. I saw a plate being assembled before I ordered. And the oxtail also appealed. Future trips will expand the experience. Ultimately, it was the pot roast that I ordered, with rice (or not if you prefer), and the greens rounded out the side choice. I proceeded to devour the entire meal in short order. The pot roast was amazing. Killer gravy, melt in the mouth tenderness, and the greens were another pleasant surprise. I generally come here during the weekends and the food is delicious!! I'm greeted by a lovely lady who happens to be the owner and works beside her daughter. I came in to order so I was expecting the food to come in their usual 20 min wait. Surprisingly it came to me within the next 10 minutes, and my oh my ITS AMAZING!!. They were probably not busy at the time so I came in just at the right moment lol. But hungry or not hungry, I will always enjoy the food. The Donahoos here is the ORIGINAL. The one in Pomona and the other places were built right after this one. Don't judge by the outside, this one makes me feel like home. I've been to ones in Ontario, Pomona, etc. they may come to order fast but I can tell they were pre-made and kept in the heaters for hours- maybe days! The Donahoos in Riverside come better, they buy chicken with no artificial growth hormones & fried fresh! read more

Do not work here. Do not eat here. Seriously…read more Joyce Burger in Jurupa Valley is one of the most poorly run and unprofessional places I've ever come across. This place appears to be intentionally understaffed, with only 2-3 employees expected to run the entire restaurant at once--handling cashiering, drive-thru, cooking, cleaning, and trash all at the same time. It's chaotic, overwhelming, and completely unsustainable. The treatment of employees is even worse. Workers are expected to stay and continue working 30+ minutes AFTER clocking out. That is not just unethical--it appears to be a clear violation of labor laws. On top of that, schedules are not even provided until the morning of, yet employees are expected to show up early or adjust their entire day at management's convenience. There is zero respect for people's time or lives outside of work. Management is extremely inconsistent and dismissive. In one situation, an employee had a legitimate emergency and was told--rudely--to "think about the business," with no concern or empathy whatsoever. But when that same employee later quit, management had the nerve to complain about not receiving a two-week notice, despite never offering employees the basic courtesy of advance scheduling. The hypocrisy is unreal. There are also serious food safety concerns that should not be ignored. Employees are expected to handle cash and then immediately prepare food without proper handwashing being enforced. There are also reports of old fries being reused and fryer oil not being changed regularly, which raises major questions about cleanliness and food quality. Overall, this is not a professional environment in any sense. Between the way employees are treated, the lack of basic organization, and the concerning food handling practices, this is a place that needs to be looked into. Spend your money somewhere else.

I was simply asking for a refund for the items I didn't receive. Mistakes happen, but the situation was handled in an unprofessional way. Hi everyone I've been going to delias grinders since about 1980 with my Grandma and Grandpa and for…read moreus it was always a Friday or Saturday family treat if it wasn't Shakeys, but I will say I in the last maybe 3 years I left a bad review about the bread not being the same,the owner had enough class and respec to call me up and discuss my issue witch blew me away that he took the time to call a random customer to hear me out about the bread , he did explain to me that there was an issue that day with the dough , he was very persistent on trying to make my experience and dinner right and I told him it was no big deal, he offered me a free grinder. The next time I came in but I never returned today I was craving a delias grinder ....when I called in the phone service was old school professional, not what I'm used to anymore. And when I got to the restaurant, the woman that it helped me. And cashed me out was extremely hospitable, respectful and treated me like a freaking customer. Not like I was bothering her like these people make you feel nowadays and that was refreshing Her name was cassidy . And because of her class, I will continue to return to Delias grinders University as much as I can. Thank you.

(Was lobster on these sandwiches) Pros - Food was good. Fresh ingredients Potato salad was very good. Place was clean. Employees were friendly. Cons - Too expensive for what we got. We could've went to a good full service sit down restaurant for much less (tip included). Will we be back? I'd like to say yes but not at these prices. Also the 40 min drive makes it not worth it. I understand good food is not cheap but I'll stick to closer/cheaper sandwiche shops near me (Green Shack/Saverinos)
