The meats that were not as salty tasting were on the bland side, I just kinda expected to experience "more flavor", and it simply just wasn't there. I lived in the Deep South for a year, and the Q found in that region simply blows away what I experienced today. Maybe it's not a fair comparison, but I couldn't help but think that. The location of the Banana Brasil Grille is conveniently located near Rt8, so it was easy to get back on to the highway to continue my journey after my lunch. Overall, I'd say it was a mediocre lunch, I can't see a reason for a return visit. A weak 3 Star Rating, IMO.

My partner ordered the Picanha Grelhada the steak was very fatty hard to cut the rice and beans were good . We were not offered dessert or coffee just wasn't a very good experience. The atmosphere is old and dated also it was very dark in the bar area. We will try it again. Every cook has a bad day.

We did have a reservation, highly recommend getting a reservation! Our server, Daniela, was superb!! Definitely one of the best servers I've ever had in my entire life. She explained everything and was super attentive. The gauchos were friendly and always approached our table. Meats were always hot and portions were always good size. All of the other staff seemed to be working hard and hustling around clearing tables and plates and serving guests. Hot and cold side food bars were continually checked on and filled with fresh products. I liked the ambiance. Decor was appropriate and the high ceilings helped with any restaurant noise. The shift lead/floor manager always having eyes on all aspects of the flow in the restaurant. Overall a really great evening. We drove over an hour for this experience and we left extremely satisfied! Thank you for a most memorable evening!

The servers here are all super nice and the man with the fish/shrimp made sure to come around to our table frequently. The cold bar was extensive and had a wonderful variety. I really had to limit myself on what I'd got and you could have a full dinner based on the cold bar alone. The cheese bread is soooo good. As part of restaurant week, we got the yuca fries and plantains which were super yummy. My bf loved all of the meat he got - he was so happy and satisfied. The shrimp was really good as was the fried cheese. The salmon was cooked well but definitely needed the mango salsa for flavor. The pineapple was one of the best things here - you HAVE to get it. We were honestly too full for dessert but it came with the restaurant week deal so we got tres leches anyways. The tres leches was super moist and tasty. This place is an amazing bang for your buck and we're super excited to come back. It was a really fun vibe here on a Friday night!

He goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect , we sat at the bar and had some delicious appetizers seasoned to perfection . I'm am Brazilian and I have been to MANY Brazilian steakhouses but this one topped them all and the didn't even try the rodizio. This is an extremely popular blue collar spot in Danbury that became really special to me as a undergrad student and has remained an amazing place. I recommend coming before 9 PM because they start running out of stuff and hot bar looks rough at night.
