For my first drink, I'm having the Smoked Old Fashioned made with Crow 86 (normally Angel's Envy), Luxardo juice, orange bitters and orange spritz. That's different. I love the smell of the smoke! This tastes great! It's properly garnished, chilled and balanced. Wow! They also bring out some bread and a delicious red sauce made with olive oil, garlic parmesan and red peppers. This is very good! I apologize for not taking pictures earlier before I dug in! Add about 3-4 more pieces of bread. For my first item, I'm having the mini crab cakes. A crab cake is a popular American seafood dish made from crab meat mixed with binders like breadcrumbs or crackers, mayonnaise, eggs, and seasonings such as Old Bay, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, then formed into patties and cooked by baking, frying, or broiling. Add that lime to bring out the true flavor of this dish! This smells real good! Oh yeah! These are good! For my next appetizer, I'm trying the Brother Street Tacos made with chicken and topped with cole slaw and peppercorn aioli. These are pretty big! I like the use of the metal taco holders. Use that lime! These are delicious! For my next appetizer, I'm having four oysters (Chesapeake Bay). This is another rare treat for me. Oysters are saltwater bivalve mollusks, prized as seafood for their briny, mineral-rich flavor and high nutritional content, including zinc, iron, and vitamins. These aren't bad for cholesterol and have high nutritional content. For my next drink, I'm having The Best Manhattan made with Crow 66, Tribuno Sweet Vermouth, Amaro Montenegro, a dash of Luxardo lower served in a short martini glass. I love the cute umbrella! Ah yes! This is good! It had a great garnish including the umbrella/Luxardo cherry, well chilled and nicely balanced. Look at this beautiful presentation! I will admit I'm afflicted to the horseradish. That stuff is strong! Sprinkle that lemon! These oysters are huge! These are fantastic! For my next item, I'm having the Soup of the Day - shrimp and corn chowder. I'm not sure I've ever had this before. This is pretty! I love the baguette floaters and sprinkle of cheddar cheese! This is super hot and yummy! For dessert, I'm having the creme brûlée served with homemade "shlag" (whipped cream). Crème brûlée is a classic French dessert featuring a rich, creamy custard base topped with a contrasting layer of hard, caramelized sugar that is torched or broiled to a crisp, brittle finish. I love the whipped cream and cherry on top. Oh yeah! This is good! I'm also having a cup of black coffee. Ah. That's good! What a great meal here!

Pros and Cons below but the spark notes are: Nice atmosphere, good service, bad (and expensive) food. Pros: *The atmosphere is nice. Slightly elevated, beautiful decor, very nice bar area, and the outdoor area is a vibe. *Service was good. Our waitress was kind, efficient and helpful. *Our cocktails were great. Delicious, not wildly overpriced, and fresh. Cons and the reason why I could not recommend going to this restaurant: Overall the food was wildly disappointing, especially at this price point. We paid (with tip and 2 cocktails each) $250 for food we couldn't finish it was so poorly cooked and prepared. * Surf & Turf appetizer (24) - interesting and fresh spring flavor but the shrimp (a main component of the dish) was overcooked. * Scallop entree($44)- Scallops were not cooked well. They were very rubbery, chewy and bouncy. I left two on the plate. The flavor profile was also heavily oil. * Side of Mac&Cheese - now, I have NEVER not finished mac&cheese, it's my absolute favorite food and a treat for me to order. This mac&cheese was so bad that we had 2 bites and didn't finish. For a $9.50 side I would expect something interesting. Maybe a baked dish? Or three cheeses? Anything than what we got - which was shell pasta (undercooked) and a cheese sauce (similar to a Velveeta). There was also a strange aftertaste, almost like a spoiled milk. Besides that aftertaste there was absolutely no flavor. * The Filet Mignon ($52) - maybe the most disappointing of all our dishes with a theme of badly cooked and no flavor. Asked for it cooked medium rare and closer to the rare side - it came to us as a solid medium. The steak didn't seem to be seasoned at all. No flavor. The potatoes had no crisp and absolutely no flavor. There was a generic BBQ sauce on the plate. With no salt and pepper on the table (on purpose with the expectation that everything would be flavored perfectly) it made absolutely no sense to finish a dish that we could make better at home. A truly disappointing meal that we couldn't finish, paid $$$$ for and had to stop at fast food on the way home from because we were still so hungry. I don't review often but I needed to because this is an expensive restaurant for what it is, and I want to make sure people know what they're getting into. Maybe we just went on a bad night, but we won't be going back to find out.

Took a peek at the reviews, they looked pretty good and from the road it's a nice looking building with outdoor seating (our fav) but it doesn't prepare you for how pretty the inside dining is or for the great rectangular bar with large screen TV's everywhere to catch your favorite team. So we walk through and see Christy (learned her name) at the bar. She offers a friendly welcome and tells us to pick our table. So we select a nice four top toward the back outside on the pretty patio filled with flowers. We quickly find ourselves greeted again and asked if we would like some bread. Sure. This is the lightest, fluffiest with a crunchy crust that just absolutely melts in your melt and scream hallelujah bread omg . They have a separate wing menu and then the regular menu. Johnny ordered buffalo wings with blue cheese and I had the turkey club but on two slices of bread as opposed to the three pieces it typically comes with and a house salad with oil and their red wine vinegar). The salad is cut up romaine, grape tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions. The lettuce was so crisp and fresh and the red wine vinegar had what appeared to be their blend of spices in it making it so tasty and flavorful. Now, the turkey is a smoked turkey breast, sliced in house fairly thin but with lots of it. Absolutely incredible! Comes with lettuce tomato and a bit of mayo. The steak itself was flavorless, I was expecting a grilled steak; it wasn't, there wasn't even a good sear on it (ordered medium well). The menu said caramelized onions, they were grilled onions, should've been cooked much longer to caramelize. Those were also underseasoned with no flavor. I ordered a side of chimichurri to try to give my meal some kind of flavor, not sure when it was made but it was old. I left the bread and tried to just eat the steak. Ended up giving half of it to my partner. The creamed spinach was good after I added salt. My partner had sushi, not his favorite but decent. He also had a coconut shrimp appetizer which I did taste and it was very good.
