Not recommended! Questionable sales staff who will take your deposit if you don't select their vehicle. Go down the road!

Duc was our salesman and he was fantastic the finance manager was wonderful everyone catered to our every need when it comes to feeling good, and comfortable buying a car. They listened to what we wanted for a vehicle and the amenities, while keeping the price down as able. They were kind and personable and just knew their vehicles and people! It should give you a good feeling when you're getting a vehicle and there's like five other people getting a car at the same time-It goes to show that it wasn't just one salesman it was a lot of them.Their service department is amazing because they contact us when it's time for the car to come in and have an oil change or whatever service may be needed. Although again we can't say enough about Duc -so kind personable, and knowledgable. When you leave you genuinely feel like you can trust his word and the Kalispell Toyota stands by their product. That is so important to a buyer who is putting a lot of money into something; esp these days. Duc even calls us on our birthdays; I mean who does that! That is what a business that has great customer service looks like Thank you Kalispell Toyota and thank you Duc!

I wanted an SUV with Leather Heated Seats, Auto Lift gate and I needed a warrantee. I mentioned that I had a lot of items at home that I would need to tow. I drove a few different vehicles and settled on the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox premiere. I had a firm price range that I had to be in. I needed to be out the door for less than $30,000. I was very clear that I did not want a Subaru and I did not want to finance anything. When we went inside, they started talking about the warrantee. That was pushing me way out of my pricing that I could afford. I was very clear that I could not pay over $30,000. Then Blake, the sales manager, came up and asked if I could take a 3-year bumper to bumper warrantee instead of a 5-year bumper to bumper. He mentioned that it could save me some money. I asked if that could get me in the price range that I needed to be in. Then Blake came up with a paper that showed the Balance due of $29,413.33. I was thinking that it was out the door. I said thank you so much for getting me out the door for under $30,000. He said that he needed to get a deposit and then we will be done. I said that I would need to go to my house to get some cash. Then they gave me to the finance guy. The finance guy said that he wanted me to sign the contract before I left just in case, they got busy. Like an idiot I signed the paper and then headed out to my house to get another check and some cash. the amount that they said I would need to come back with just didn't make sense. So, I looked over the paper, and I noticed that they charged me more than I thought it was going to be. So, I got to the house, and I called them and I said Hey this vehicle was much more than I thought it was going to be. they said That I signed a contract and I was obligated to get the vehicle. I said I don't want it for that price. I had not taken possession of the vehicle yet at this point, but they said that I have to take it because I signed for it. I mentioned that I wanted to unwind the deal. I was extremely irritated, but I just didn't know what to do. According to them I had to pay the balance and take possession of the vehicle because I signed a contract. It was extremely irritating. I was very surprised that they would not work with me. They were closed on Sunday, so I called them 1sst thing Monday morning. I mentioned the price was an issue and by that time I noticed that the vehicle only towed 1500 lb. U needed a vehicle that would tow more than that. As I mentioned on Saturday, I have a lot of items that need tow. They mentioned that I signed the contract. Then I said I thought you had a 72 hour worry free guarantee. At that point Blake said that f I come back down before they close at 6pm he will swap this vehicle out for another one. So, I head down to Don K Chevrolet on Monday 4/6/26 before they close. Blake was not there I spoke with Travis Squires. At 1st he said they only have Subarus. IU mentioned that I cannot accept Subaru. I do not like the brand. He said that was all they had to show. So luckily, I had a couple of vehicles to ask about. I mentioned the Ford Edge Serl that they had on the lot. He took me out to look at that. He showed me the outside of the vehicle, and he said that it was not detailed yet and he did not have the key He said that he would extend my coming back so that I could test drive that one the next day. Then on Tuesday I contacted the dealership and they did not have that vehicle detailed yet either. I contacted them on Wednesday then again on Thursday and now again today on Friday 4/10/26. I'm not sure what is happening now. They have not contacted me back. I just really wanted to unwind the deal. Swapping vehicles out was a last resort and now they are not even willing to do that. At least they are not returning calls or messages. I feel extremely upset that they would treat me this way. I cannot recommend them because if feels like they did not do a very good deal for me. What's the change of a Chevy, Jeep GMC dealership only having a Subaru the only vehicle that I specified that I did not want. There was no reason that they needed to do business in this manner.

What a great experience with Brandon in the used car sales department…read more I called the dealership and explained our delicate family situation and not having the emotional energy to do the "used car sales dance" and felt heard. I told Brandon that my aging mom was looking to transition from a Ram 1500 to something easier to get in and out of. I told him my price range and that we were coming from Helena and didn't want to waste each other's time with the "back and forth" I had been used to when buying a car. We agreed on a price, made the trip, and couldn't be happier. My mom has a reliable and beautiful new car and that is one less thing on my family to do list. Thank you to Brandon and the team at Corwin. You dispelled my impressions of buying a used car being like getting an enema with a broken fluorescent bulb slathered with lemon juice. LOL And for those who may think I was bribed to say this, think again. HIGHLY recommended dealership. Thanks everyone!

Since purchasing my Chevy car in 22 I've…read morehad a few unpleasant/dishonest experiences with Corwin. 1) Oil Change while under warranty (3rd and 4th oil changes (covered) I was told they were no longer covered. Went in, talked to some service manager (short dark hair who was insanely unpleasant and condescending), eventually resolved and came back to service to wait in line again, and re-battle. Ended up they were still covered! 2) last oil change, guy tells me I need new air filter and shows me one - I decline. (I waited 2 hours in their lobby that day for an oil change when I had an appt). On following oil change (at a sep business), I asked about that filter and the mechanic said, "Nope, it does not need to be replaced it's fine". 3) This week, took car in for sensor issue, called 5 hours later with a long list of fixes - told them I would decide later and drove back to pick up car (service manager tells me a guy is test driving my car and had been gone for 10 minutes *Why are they test driving my car 5 hours after having it and had already diagnosed??) 30 minutes later I show up and my car is still out. It did not return for 15 more minutes. So they had my car out driving around for 55 minutes??? Post diagnosis and had been told not to work on any of the issues? 4) The driver who had my car, left used dental floss in my car. 5) Called today to find out why my transmission sensor issue isn't covered on my Transmission/Drive Train warranty (still covered through today, and the only reason I took to Corwin) and told in a very condescending manner, that it is not covered and again, a passive-aggressive person on the other end of the line. Obviously taking my car issues to another mechanic. The person this last time, who I handed over my keys to was at least respectful, the rest of the experience, not so much.

The Pre-Sale Disclosures & Negotiation During the test drive, the vehicle's visual condition was fully transparent: it had cosmetic wear, bent body panels, old/no-name/mismatched tires, aftermarket wheels, shaky brakes, and a convertible top that would not open. The salesperson explicitly stated they "checked the convertible top fuse and it was good," framing the roof issue as a minor, innocent electrical mystery. I negotiated a purchase price that fairly reflected the vehicle's cosmetic state and the assumption of a standard electrical repair for the roof. I willingly signed an "As-Is" agreement based entirely on those specific disclosures. 2. The Discovery of Mechanical Sabotage Upon taking the vehicle home and performing a professional, multi-hour manual teardown to diagnose the top, I discovered severe, undisclosed structural damage. The entire underlying roof assembly, linkages, bows, and hinges are physically bent and snapped beyond repair-requiring a $10,000 retail replacement. Furthermore, I discovered that the top's interior switch and hydraulic system had been deliberately disconnected. This was not normal wear-and-tear; the system was physically bypassed to prevent the roof from moving, which actively concealed the twisted and broken structural metal frame from being discovered during a standard pre-purchase inspection. 3. Unjust Enrichment and the Arbitration When I confronted the dealership with the diagnostic photos of the bent and broken frame, hinges and linkages, they admitted they already had an active wholesale arbitration case open with the selling agent regarding this vehicle's defects -a critical piece of legal and mechanical history they actively withheld from me during the sales process. The dealership then requested my personal diagnostic photos to submit to the auction. They successfully used my labor to secure a $1,500 payout from the auction to make themselves whole. However, when it came to resolving the issue with me, they attempted to pocket the auction money, hide behind Montana's "As-Is" laws to protect their profit, and refused to provide a fair retail remedy to fix the $5,000 structural deficit they delivered. When I requested a fair retail remedy to fix the $5,000 structural deficit (using my own labor and a used salvaged roof), the dealer retaliated by rescinding all offers entirely. They are now pocketing the auction's $1,500 payout-money they only received because of my diagnostic labor-and leaving me completely empty-handed with a broken car. Conclusion An "As-Is" clause is designed to protect a dealership from unknown mechanical wear; it is not a legal license to misrepresent a vehicle's history, hide active legal disputes, or sell a vehicle with a bypassed, structurally compromised frame. Because the dealership has refused to provide a fair settlement to make this vehicle whole, formal complaints for material misrepresentation and deceptive business practices have been filed with the Montana Department of Justice Office of Consumer Protection and the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) Dealer Licensing Bureau. Buyer beware.
