We recently bought a new home and expecting a baby and wanted to install central ac. We reached out to 4 companies, Cmags being one, for quotes. Working with contractors can be very frustrating, however, not CMags! When Chris (owner) from Cmags came by to give us the quote he was professional, honest, and easy! He arrived on time and it wasn't a hassle. He told us he could get it done within 3 weeks. He gave us his quote and he was the fairest out of all the quotes we received. When it was time to install.. Him and his team arrived on time and day scheduled, got the job done neatly, and he stood true to his word on everything. To have the owner come out is huge to us and to see the honesty and follow through of everything was even better! I highly recommend to contact him for any service that he offers. Bigger companies tend to rip you off and don't care like Chris does. Thank you Chris and your team for everything. My husband and I couldn't be more satisfied.

Our generator had been running sort of iffy since the long power outage in March and we needed some diagnostic work as well as a general tune-up. Joe from RALCO came out and spent a long time talking through the ups and downs of our current generator (no we didn't need a new one, yes we'd need to get a new battery, yes we could change the oil ourselves, here's how...) and got it all up and running smoothly again. I appreciated the speediness with which I could get an appointment and they were easy to communicate with as well as being just up the road. I had a question about my bill and they got back to me promptly and were friendly.

We made the decision to replace the central air unit and had Valley come out and give us a quote on the work. Their quote was very competitive and we wanted to have them replace our unit based upon the excellent service we had received in the past. Our job took two days to complete and the work crew sent out to our house was excellent. They laid down tarps to protect our floors from any debris (we had all of our duct work replaced). In addition we have a small dog who was very curious about their work and really thought they came to visit with her - they were very nice to her and gave her attention. The crew worked very efficiently and answered any of our questions and review details with us along the way. Our new WIFI thermostat had not come in so they installed a digital thermometer and then came back and replaced it with the WIFI unit as soon as it came in. They made the experience pleasurable and we would highly recommend them for both installation and service. It's a pleasure to do business with Valley!

When he started the project, he left the place messy and I had to clean up after him. All the equipment was all over the place, as you can see in the pictures. I had to collect them and clean everything after he left. These pictures were sent to him at the time. He was extremely aggressive, asking to collect the remaining balance even though the project was not completed. While our spa was under construction, he was overly insistent in wanting to install the unit system even when the contractor advised him to wait. We asked him to wait until the project was completed entirely because we wanted to protect the HVAC units from the debris of the construction. In the end, we let him install the units while the construction was still happening because his behavior was inappropriate, and we just paid him to let him go. We've been having issues with one of the units since May. It had been making noise, and we called him in order to let him know that one of the units wasn't working properly. He said he would stop by to take a look, but never did until June 14th. He picked up the pump and said he would get back to me within 24 hours because the pump wasn't working. I have been calling him since, but he never picked up his phone or called back. At this time, the weather is extremely hot, and our products and guests are both being negatively impacted by the heat. Overall, my experience has been negative.

We recently had another electrician in the house doing minor work and he pointed out several places where there was visible and active knob and tube wiring. Knob and tube wiring is a huge fire hazard and we were told it was completely taken out of our home. I would understand if there were remnants in the wall somewhere but this was actively supplying electricity to our house and was very easily visible from our basement. I would not recommend hiring Positive Energy electric. I don't necessarily feel that they were being dishonest with us, but their mistake is careless at best and could have put our home and our family in danger had it not been discovered by another electrician.
