Taco truck

Street taco street taco! Meat portions are good! The price is right. $12 for 4 tacos tax included Mom and pop shop- family owned. The chorizo is spicy and juicy. Sturdy tortillas with pickled radishes.

Not much to say but killer tacos! Got your attention? Exactly what you need in your neighborhood, unpretentious taco stand without all the hipsters. Carne for days with killer salsas! $1 taco Tuesday. Stay away Barbie and Ken this is not your place.

Very good taco truck. So happy to find some SoCal style Mexican food in Arvada. Burrito was huge too. Definitely recommend!

While walking along Tennyson, I noted the nice selection of dining options, but it was the…read morewonderful aroma of burgers that lead me straight to Lucy's Burger Bar. As Lucy's is known for their stuffed burgers, I went with The Juicy Lucy and a half order of fries. The burgers are made with a 76/24 blend and stuffed with cheese, onions, and pickles. There are plenty of add-ons (tomato, lettuce, pepperoncini, bacon, even an egg), but go easy as these burgers are seriously indulgent and filling. The skinny fries were fabulous (you can't have just one). My order arrived quick AND hot. The burger was good and as promised, juicy. Definitely recommend indulging in a cocktail too. Lucy's infuses their vodka so check out the Cherry Spritz (it isn't quite as tart as the name implies) or the pineapple flavored Lucy's Spritz. Beer and wine are served as well as Pepsi products.

My wife and I popped in to try it out and got the classic stuffed burgers. The burgers were almost 20 bucks each with no sides, which would be fine if they were exceptionally tasty or high-quality, but they tasted as if they came from the frozen section at Walmart. The stuffed cheese was barely existent, and I was charged for adding lettuce and tomatoes. Wtf? The fries were good, but they were clearly from a giant frozen bag, so charging extra for them seems crazy considering the burgers were almost 20 bucks. When it was all said and done, we paid over 80 dollars for two mediocre (borderline bad) burgers, one side of fries to share, a Bloody Mary, and a cheap canned beer. We left with with a very bad taste in our mouth both literally and figuratively. The only saving grace was that the server was very friendly and nice. That's the second star. Also, we chose this place because we had some cash on the in-kind app, but when we went to pay, they said they had changed POS systems, so they were essentially engaging in false advertising. They did give us a drink coupon, but we won't be back ever.

Found this place mentioned on Reddit and was not disappointed. Love to try something unique that we…read moredon't have back in CA. Great vegan/vegetarian options and the dishes are customizable (think chipotle style). I had a vegetarian bowl and my husband had a bison Indian taco. So delicious and nice presentation. The place was crowded immediately upon opening but the staff were super friendly and helpful in describing what everything was. Also loved the decor and American Indian art/representation featured in the restaurant. We would definitely come back to eat here again if in the area! We saw that there is also a location in the Denver airport which is so cool, great to support local!

When I got off from my Lyft here, I was delighted to step foot into a sweet eatery with plenty of seating and friendly workers. It was clean and brightly lit, and the sight of the Native American decor gave very nice cultural touches. I got a plate with braised shredded bison Indian taco, which was shredded bison meat on top of fry bread. It was very filling. I had been getting over a flu, and filled up on water while I was here. For dessert, you can't skip wojapi (berry dessert) with fry bread. I left here stuffed. I earned my walk all the way to Meow Wolf!

I would strongly recommend people to stay away from the food they serve here unless maybe you are…read morewanting a cold sandwich and I am told they have good beer. They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.

Love their outdoor seating.

Many more had shown up here before we left, however. As it was happy hour, we tried three different appetizers: falafel with hummus, dolmas, and harissa carrots. All were delicious and ended up being rather filling. My wife and I both had the lamb gyros, while my daughter had the chicken shawarma. While the dishes didn't appear to be a huge amount of food, they ended up being plenty. Everything had really nice flavor. As it was my wife's birthday, she got the free baklava for dessert. My daughter and I both thought it was fantastic...maybe one of the better baklavas we've had in a long time. My wife thought it was fine but has had other versions she'd liked better. Service was quick and strong from the start. All food came out surprisingly fast. We'd come here again if on/near Tennyson Street and in the mood for a good Mediterranean experience.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the price differential between these two items is about $5 and instead of itemizing our receipts, our waiter just split it in two, overcharging my friend and undercharging me. It seemed very incongruent to the rest of our otherwise excellent experience here.
