I know most of the bad reviews are from over a year ago, but I'm here to tell you they still stand. I just wanted a nice large pepperoni pizza to supplement my Friday night Netflix binge, but this anomaly Dominos had other plans for me. The pizza tasted like straight tomato--great if I wanted pasta. There was hardly any cheese and the flavor was blander than the inside of an Amazon shipping box. I regretfully chose this Dominos when I should've trusted my gut and the reviews. I guess God wanted me to learn a lesson this Friday night: don't always give people the benefit of doubt. I had a great experience. My pizza was fast and so good. I got the bbq chicken and I wanted to review while I'm still holding my slice. The delivery was fast and the driver was polite. So good. People have been so hard on this place and while I understand problems are a lot to handle... some of these reviews are just rude and span over many years and some are multiple people doing a review over the same bad order. Gave this location numerous opportunities to prove the past mistakes were just that. Mistakes. They've continually proved otherwise. Burned pizza every time. We obviously order the pizzas specifically to our liking (that's why you buy food, right?) and it's always missing one, or multiple ingredients. Any other location is top notch. Good pizza, good staff, good experience. This location is 100% the Tyson v. Paul equivalent of the resultant chain. The unfortunate thing is we usually brush it off and try to be optimistic that it'll get better, so we eat what we can and toss the rest. We ordered 2 pizzas to go at 8:15pm and they said our order would be ready 30-45 minutes. We stopped to grab drinks at a store nearby and after 45 minutes, we arrived and paid. They said they'd call us when it was ready. We sat in the car and waited another 20 minutes and finally we called them. They said it was ready, except they forgot to call us. This pizza is the worst I've seen from Domino's. See the picture caption. Burnt and not even enough sauce or toppings by a long shot. Plus, the 45-55 min wait estimate (totally understandable on a Saturday night, no problem), turned into 90 mins without explanation or acknowledgment from staff. C'mon PG team, step up the customer service with some one-on-one proactive conversation. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a pizza place. We ordered two large pizzas and it was the most horrible customer service I've ever seen. They remade the pizzas and they were burnt dry and disgusting then when we called for a third time, the managers were conveniently too busy to speak to us. I will never go to this Domino's again and honestly I never thought I'd say this, but Little Caesars is better than Domino's now which is pretty sad, save your peace and serenity go to Papa John's or Pizza Hut. Seriously, don't deliver pizza that looks as though the driver sat on it. However, once the store was notified, a replacement pizza was rushed to me. I thank Dominos for fixing the problem. Perhaps, educating the driver could prevent this in the future. read more

Well we have been fans of Domino's Pizza since they re-vamped their pizzas. They have frequent deals going on that we enjoy when we are craving pizza. Years ago we were not fans at all of Domino's. Their new box says, "ThIs pizza was made from fresh, never frozen dough, and we can definitely tell the difference! We became fans when we decided to try their pan pizzas. However their pan pizzas don't come in a size larger than the medium size. I don't know why? Our go to orders are 2 pan pizzas, one pepperoni, and the other 1/2 pep 1/2 mushroom, onions, and peppers. Today we ordered our usual order, and when we opened one of the pizzas, it had sausage on one of them, which is not one of the ingredients we get in any of our orders. I called and spoke to the manager, Jack. Jack was very pleasant to deal with! From the phone number I called from, he already brought up my order, and offered to either make me a new pizza that would be done shortly, or credit my account towards a future order. Jack just really solidified our faith in Domino's- not only are their pan pizzas pretty great, but they have stepped up their customer service to match the quality of their pizzas! read more

I come here out of locational convenience, not because I like it. The food is usually made correctly and is standard Domino's. My issue is more with the staff and the way things work here. Once, we did the "car side delivery" clicked that we were there, and waited and waited and waited... Nobody ever came. Eventually we went inside and they said that feature didn't work. Um, maybe disable it or put up a sign or something. Tonight, I went inside, told them my name, and she said the food would be ready in 1-2 minutes. Then the phone rang and she took an over the phone order from somebody. I waited patiently for 6-7 minutes while my food was placed in the window by the cook who didn't just bring it to me. I tried to be patient and wait for the cashier. Eventually when she got off the phone, she had the actual audacity to begin helping a customer that had just walked in by taking their order. I had been waiting for ten minutes at this point, while they just walked in. She seemed to have totally forgotten or not cared about my order. One of the two employees definitely could have and should have served me my food way sooner and put the phone order on hold. Better yet, not take phone orders. Is this 1999? If you do phone orders, maybe have a call center take those? read more

All pizza joins near PG seem to come/go in quality. This Domino's was a gamble but I am seriously impressed. The quality of the food was surprisingly good (tangy marinara sauce, plenty of cheese) good amount of toppings... and it was delivered in 20 minutes. 3 hours for delivery, got alert that Pizzas were done 1 hour before they were delivered. The Pizzas came were over cooked not fresh at all and were cold. When I called to check the status the employee informed me they had run out of chicken a topping that was on 3 of my 6 pizzas. The manager then came on and told me my pizzas were being put in a car right away, we live 5 minutes from the store and yet 45 minutes later they finally were delivered. We ordered 1 pizza & wings at 7:25 PM, delivery shows up at 9:47PM, and we had to call THREE times to ask where our order was. We were told "we are the busiest Dominoes in Utah" and a bunch of other excuses as to why our order took over 2 hours. Pizza & wings were cold, HORRIBLE service. The "manager" sounded like he was a teenager, and although he was respectful, was of zero help & didn't seem concerned that this was a problem. HARD PASS on this location, go somewhere else. This evening, 3/25/23, we were given the wrong order for takeout. The pizzas we were given were "thin crust rather than "hand tossed" and had very little toppings. We discovered the mistake when we arrived home, 5 minutes later. We called Dominoes to report their error and offered to bring back the pizza (none had been eaten). The manager said, "that is just the way the dough is" and refused our offer to bring back the pizza for an exchange. Manager refused to give her name and referred us to dominoes.com. We have reached out to dominos.com. We also reached out to the customer support number on the Dominoes app but the office was closed. We have been Dominoes loyal customers on almost a weekly basis but will not be returning to the Pleasant Grove, Utah Dominoes. The second time we actually canceled the order because after waiting almost two hours they said it'd be another 30 minutes. It's a joke. I've tried to be patient with this Dominos after so many times they have messed up or taken hours for a order but tonight I had to give a review. I called around 4 for a delivery at 6 because this store wasn't taking online orders. I needed it by 6 to feed a people before a meeting at 6:30. At 6:15 I called to see where my order is and they said that they had so many deliveries they were trying to get them out as soon as they could. The reason I called 2 hours early was to avoid this. The driver finally got there at 6:30, I had to stop their meeting so they could get food. It's already hard to order for a group of people and having the food not come is so embarrassing. read more

I was ordering pizza for a neighbor who had a death in the family, so I called at 4:00 to have it delivered at 6. The delivery driver called me at 6:52 saying I had given them the wrong address. He was looking for a Police Station when it was being delivered to a home! I fixed that and then called the store to find out what had taken so long, when I was given the excuse that they were understaffed! I completely understand that and would have been sympathetic to that dilemma had they called me to let me know it was going to be almost an HOUR late!!! Many past delivery orders were fine, but in the past month they've completely tanked -- orders now take multiple hours, and good luck getting any help or accurate info over the phone. I checked my bank statement and they charged me and then refunded me but I was never notified. When I called the store and talked to the manager she was no help. Website cant complete orders when you pay by cars. Inept workers who can't figure out how to placr an order using the correct coupons over the phone and then tell you your order is more expensive than the website tells you and to top it off 1.5-2 hour delivery time in the early afternoon. Never order here. I placed an online order for 40 pizzas 18 hours before pickup and I was told at 8 PM my order was canceled because they didn't have enough food for 40 pizzas. Coby and Emily were very rude. As a business owner I don't know why you would turn away business before the lunch rush. I called two other locations (orem and springville) to see if they could handle the order. Emily and Coby told me they needed 4 day notice for any order over 30 pizzas. It's pizza. It's not fine dining. I've been picking up pizza here about every two weeks since they opened. As far as chain pizza joints go, dominos is my favorite. Like any place, the food is as good as it's made. Sometimes the pizza is good here and sometimes it's so-so. Overall, this is an average pizza joint.
