To be fair, I've ordered food from this store at least twenty times in the last two years. And while the customer service has generally been on the poor side, it was never so terrible as to warrant a review to warn you, until today.
The male driver repeatedly asked me (female) to go out to his car at night to meet him there to collect the food. I explained that it wasn't appropriate, he needed to come to the door (well lit), and he claimed he couldn't find it (he was parked across the street flashing his lights). I gave him directions to my house six times, and called customer service three times to ask them to help their driver. I was hung up on twice. Eventually I had to walk out the driveway to wave him back to the house where I paid cash for the cold food.
On top of the driver and Hills Rd store customer service issues, I opened the boxes to find they sent the wrong order -- chicken kickers instead of strippers. Sounds like a pointless difference, but the ones I received (and didn't order) contain garlic powder, which I can't eat.
I called the store and spoke with the manager again who refused to give me a refund for sending the wrong order until I said I would call the head office to complain if he did not refund it. I gave all the food back to the driver untouched, and said he was welcome to have it, and thanked him for returning my cash.
A terrible experience, which surprised me, as usually Dominos has better customer service than this, even if it's not very good. Switching to another pizza delivery company now. Save yourself the trouble and order from somewhere else. Life's too short to waste that much time and energy on poor food and service. read more
