It gives off an old school Italian feel, and it smell amazing when you walk in. The food in their display cases have everything you can think of: chicken cutlets, potato croquettes, Stromboli, other stuffed breads, pasta salads and meats. They have a ton of ravioli and manicotti on their freezers, as well as ready made sauces (marinara, pesto, vodka, clam) We ordered a #6 which was grilled chicken, fresh mozz and roasted peppers, and we had them add imported prosciutto. I love that their sign says you can be creative and add or have them make anything you want. Some delis are weird and don't allow you to make additions or edit existing sandwiches. They ran out of regular Italian bread, so they gave it to us on an Italian twist, which was still very good. We also ordered 2 potato croquettes, 1 was regular and the other had spinach. The food was delicious, and I want to cater our next party from here. Looking forward to trying a lot more of their food.

Fried chicken cutlets were thin and dried out, the bruschetta toasts were $9 for a small container maybe20 mini toasts, we bought to have with the tapenade on them but the oil used to toast them was rancid they were very old, must have been sitting on their shelf for months, $9 in the garage. Same with the bread sticks - stale, old and over priced. The pasta salad was ok, bit tasteless, rice balls had a weird sour taste as did the mozzarella balls. The meatballs looked like chicken meat balls they were so light in color several people asked me 'are they chicken' they were not, they were gross, mostly breading and didn't have any taste, they also didn't put any sauce in the container though in the case whenI ordered, they were down with sauce. We didn't try the several kind of olives or roasted peppers we purchased as we ended up going out to lunch elsewhere because after all of that wasted food, we didn't have enough food for everyone on the boat. I've never had a worse experience with an Italian market, what a waste of $140!! Better to make the drive to Gemelli's in Babylon.

It's a quaint neighborhood deli with over 100 years of history, which is why I kept giving it chance after chance. I've ordered from this deli many times. They have frequently gotten my order wrong, but I never complained. I simply accepted it and moved on. On Father's Day, I ordered three egg sandwiches around 10:00 a.m. I arrived at 10:30 to pick them up and still waited another 15 minutes. After spending about $35, the order was wrong. Again, I let it go. Today was the final straw. I ordered two egg sandwiches and a small deli iced tea for delivery. The total was $33 before tip. The owner, John, delivered the order himself. He rang my Ring doorbell twice but never knocked. We completed the exchange without issue. When I opened the bag, the order was wrong--again. I called and politely asked to speak with the owner. I explained that my order had been made incorrectly. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, John hung up on me. I called back three more times, and each time either he or his staff hung up on me. I drove to the deli to speak with him face-to-face. His response was simply, "That's unfortunate," and he refused to remake the sandwiches or offer any refund or solution. Everyone makes mistakes. What separates a good business from a bad one is how those mistakes are handled. I wasn't angry about an incorrect sandwich--I was shocked by the complete lack of customer service, accountability, and basic respect. After years of overlooking mistakes and trying to support a local business, this experience has guaranteed I will never return. There are plenty of delis that appreciate their customers and stand behind their service. Unfortunately, Maple St. Deli isn't one of them.

I decided on a spinach/mushroom/onion omelet with home fries a side of bacon and rye toast. You choose omelets come with one filling, additional are $1 each. The omelet was good but was helped by some salt & pepper. The home fries were tasty with just the right amount of onion but the bacon was overcooked for my taste though I know many people like theirs extra crispy. There were two waitresses and they both were friendly and attentive. By the time I was ready to leave every table was taken but there were still seats at the counter. Now I know why the parking lot is almost always full, especially on the weekend. If you are looking for Home Town restaurant with good food & great coffee this is the place for you!

I was getting my kid from karate and he was hungry so I decided to order from domino's. I went in and there were like 4 people in the kitchen, none of them wearing gloves. That would be gross in general. But even worse if we're in the middle of a pandemic! I was grossed out. Then the woman taking my order couldn't even speak English, so I had to point out for her what I wanted. Then the guy next to her started yelling at me to stop making fun of her because she couldn't speak English when I wasn't even doing anything! After she was able to finally comprehend what I was attempting to order, I told her to deliver it to my car, because they had curbside pickup. "Oh no sorry we don't do that" she said in a sharp accent. I was so tired and cranky so I called for another person and they said they were gonna deliver it to my car, which I pointed out as the black Chevrolet. They said to wait about 15 minutes. I waited about 30. No pizza. I finally went back inside to see what the hell they had going on in there, if there was a hold up, or any reason why I would have to wait double the time they told me. And there on the counter, was the pizza I told them to deliver to my car! I was fed up, but my kid was hungry and I wasn't going to give up so easily. I grabbed it, and asked for my change. "You don't get none". It. Was. 15$. Bucks. I. Gave. 24$. Then I was trying to show her how and why she owed me change and she's like, "oohhh .-." And reached into the cash register and gave me a 5$. I asked if she was trying to jip me and the skel who yelled at me earlier came walking in and said what are you talking about and quickly gave me the rest of the change. During the brief carride home, I smelled onions. Where was it coming from? I was about to find out. When I got home and opened the box to cut the slices, then I saw what the smell was. I ordered a plain pizza and they gave me onions, mushrooms, pepperonis, it was disgusting, the crust was extra airy too. Not only had they messed up the order, but the pizza was burnt so bad it was no longer edible! After I disposed it, I called their number to ask for a refund. "Nu refind tahnk yiu" the woman said in her sharp accent. Then she hung up. Moral of the story is if you don't wanna feel like you have 0 iq than don't give to this dominos. I can't believe the awful pizza, the staff, the customer service. This place is terrible. Never again. read more

The inside does have a few tables if you want to enjoy your food on site. We were a party of seven people and took up almost half of the seating area. The staff was really accommodating and helpful as we tried to organize the order for so many people. All of the food was great. Some standout items for me included the Sicilian Pepperoni slices, stuffed garlic knots, and the plain slice. Highly recommend any of these items. My first visit to La Supreme Pizza was a hit. My family and I would definitely return in the future the next time we're in Oakdale.

I want to try more of their menu options however their buffalo chicken is pretty good. And that says a lot from someone who lives in Nassau county and has had the best pizza ever all around queens and the city. This is a spot I want to try more of and decently and fairly priced. I waited until there were no customers around and signaled to the woman working that the cheesecake was, in fact, moldy and I didn't know what else in that case might have gone bad. She took it and threw it away. My food came out about ten minutes later, and it took me about 15 minutes to eat. I was sat pretty close to that fridge and in 35 minutes, neither she nor any of the staff went to check the food. That's concerning to me because I brought it to their attention that there was visible mold on one of the cherry cheesecakes, and there were at least ten other cherry cheesecakes in that refrigerator, plus other desserts and other things that could get people sick. To her credit, when I told her I didn't feel safe eating the produce and would like her to refund my salad because I didn't want it, she did so without complaint, and the Sicilian slice was good as always. But I don't feel great about eating at a place where, again, it's not even the fact that there was mold. Stuff happens. It's that they let so much time go by once it was brought to their attention. That's a great way to get people sick.
