    Chicken parm and grandma

I fly for a living and come to Lorenzo's all the way from Houston every few months. The owner is super nice and pizza is excellent! This place in North Houston would do circles around the crap we have. Love their cheese slices, chicken parm and of course grandma. Keep up the good work. Love you guys! David the airline pilot guy.

Went there for the first time in order to gyros and take a look at the picture. The Gyro meat is old. The pizza is salty. The lettuce was brownish

Photo of the HORRIBLE PIZZA i bought at Lorenzos of st james. Do yourself a favor & buy a box of Ellios at supermarket instead!

The pizza's better than most I've tried around the area and the prices you can't beat.

I love their pizza especially the specialty pizzas one of my favorites and my high light of my week is his Ravioli Pizza.

Recently, I decided to give it another shot on two separate times, and some of their specialty pies: the vodka pizza with a garlic knot crust and the trio pizza (pesto, marinara, and vodka). I'll start with the positives--service was friendly and welcoming, which definitely made the experience more pleasant. And to be fair, the flavors across the pies were actually pretty good. The sauces complemented each other well. That said, the biggest issue--was the dough. It was noticeably undercooked which made the slices a bit doughy and hard to enjoy. On top of that, the pizza was quite greasy, which didn't help the overall texture. The undercooked dough stood out enough that it took away from what could have been a really solid pie. Another small note: the dining area looked like it could've used a quick sweep. Not a huge deal, but something that affects the overall impression when you walk in. I wouldn't completely write this place off, because the flavors are there and the staff is friendly. If I give it another try, I'd probably stick with a regular pie or maybe a Sicilian and specifically ask for it to be cooked well done. I think that could make a big difference.

I called ahead for pickup for a quick stop on the way home. Our food was steaming hot and ready within a minute of arriving. Little Vinny's is that a perfect neighborhood pizza joint. A simple, small pizza counter to order at, maybe a dozen tables for dine in, and most important PSA, it's cash only. It's the kind of place you instantly know locals have loved for generations. Oh, and if you're looking for a super late night bite to eat, they are open until 2AM! The pizza is out of this world, especially if you try their cold cheese slice. Yes, you read that right. This is pizza with a handful of cold, shredded mozzarella cheese tossed on top of a classic hot cheese slice right before serving. It's a Long Island rite of passage. But the real highlight for me is the chicken parm hero. It's absolutely packed with crispy chicken cutlet, plenty of sauce, and layers of melty cheese, all wrapped up in that perfect Italian bread. My dad and I shared one, and both agreed it's hard to beat. Little Vinny's may not be fancy, but they absolutely nail what they're doing. If you love classic New York pizzerias, or just miss food that feels like home, this is the spot. Don't sleep on the cold cheese slice or the chicken parm hero. I'll be dreaming of both until my next trip!
