This place is a hidden gem in Bradenton, FL…read more Im usually not a huge pizza person but this place is my favorite in town. Especially for a quick bite. The ingredients are super fresh and I was happy to learn that their meat is nitrate free! I love that I don't feel gross after eating their pizza like I do with any others. Also, their salads are underrated!!!! For a spot that is designed to be quick dining, I've never come across an establishment that you can a huge salad made to order. The place feels like a community hub or sorts. They have a kids table with coloring and other activities for the littles. Fundraisers or activities that engage their patrons seem to be going on monthly. Which all just contribute to the good and warm vibes of this place. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there. Which, can be hard to come by these days. I saw a comment on here about how their socialization was a con. However, I have to say, the staff might be the biggest pro to this place. It seems like the group that works here all are a team who get along and have fun! Service is always quick and they are committed to getting everything right for their customers. One time they burnt my pizza just a tad and remade it without question!

The pizza looked great and tasted fine, but the service was extremely poor. The wait to order was long because employees seemed more focused on socializing than working efficiently. Several customers behind me received their orders before I did, and when my pizza was finally ready, it sat uncut for another few minutes. I had to point it out myself. By that point, I was hungry and feeling my blood sugar drop, which made the experience even more frustrating. If management wants this location to succeed, staff need better supervision and training to understand when it's time to have fun and when it's time to serve customers--starting with the adults on duty.

After giving my name, he knew that my order was ready and asked his coworker to retrieve the pizzas for me. She politely handed me pizzas. The pizza boxes were sealed with stickers. I opened the seals to check the pizzas and they were hot and prepared well. We ordered the high-rise crust with pepperoni ham and meatballs. The pizza was well cooked and delicious. The price of the pizza was reasonable considering the fresh ingredients. We ate at home so I could not give any review about the dine in experience there, but the quality of the food and service behind the counter is great. Definitely a great stop to get a bit of pizza

We tried Stoner's Pizza Joint in Bradenton for the first time and had a pretty good experience…read moreoverall. We ordered a large thin-crust pepperoni and a large hand-tossed meatball and ricotta pizza. The thin-crust pepperoni had good flavor, but it was definitely on the greasy side--which isn't exactly surprising with pepperoni. We ended up using a paper towel to soak up some of the grease. I also felt like the crust could have been cooked a little longer. With all the grease, it became pretty floppy and soggy. I did still taste good! The hand-tossed meatball and ricotta pizza, though, was awesome. The combination worked really well, and that was definitely my favorite of the two. Our carry out order was ready right on time, which was a plus, and everything was handled smoothly. Despite the issue with the thin crust, we enjoyed the food enough that we would definitely order from Stoner's again. I'd just ask for the thin crust to be cooked a little longer next time.

Overall, we enjoyed everything and would come back to try some of their other options. Giving it a solid 4/5!

What makes these thin or thick pizzas so delicious are (1) made in a SUPER hot BRICK fire oven. (2) a great flavorful sauce (3) excellent quality flour dough -- very very unusual for a fast food outlet in a big Mall. I love this place. The pies are about 12-14 inches wide, and if a thin crust you can order a simple cheese pizza for $5.99. They offer 6 " combos" each with very impressive ingredients and piled about 2.5 inches high before being popped into the roaring brick oven. Combos all priced at $9.99. They cut the pies into 6 pieces, I'm full after 3 and bring the other half home where I inhale it in 10 minutes. A thicker crust is $1.50 more. AND they offer REALLY tasty home made real Italian meatballs, two for $4.99 in a paper " one pound deli container" with a generous helping of their GREAT sauce, ricotta cheese ( yum) and a few other items. A plain cheese pizza with these meatballs = heaven for me! Oh, and extra sauce on the pie of course. Staff has been there a long time - - a sign that the Mngt is good to them. Fellow that cooks the pies in this PIPPING hot oven is quite expert! Never burned/ baked perfectly, ingredients not sliding off, hard to do. ( my pie at Napule Restaurant came with all the ingredients slid to one side!) Ceiling is high, nice open spacious layout, natural wood. Fancy Pepsi machine that dispenses tons of different sodas. Oh and discount for mall employees too. Enjoy!

We asked for regular pizza sauce & the young female employee who was waiting was kind of sheepish to the point where we couldn't hear her! Then we had to ask her to speak up when going to other choices...we asked for green pepper & she put about 7 (I could literally count them) little pieces on there, same with everything else....really ridiculous! They had a tip jar but NO WAY! Got our pizza & crust soggy with the tiny little portions of toppings! Super chincy on toppings. I went to use the bathroom (unisex individual bathrooms) & it was a mess... paper towels all over the floor & trash overflowing...you could tell no one cleaned it for a long time...dirty! There were 7 young employees standing around so why couldn't they clean bathrooms. Someone seriously needs to teach them how to put toppings on & not be so damn stingy! & not make soggy pizza!
