I've had eye lash extensions for 3 years now and I just switched to Dolly Effect about 4 months ago and absolutely love my lashes. I always get greeted with a smile by Johnathon and enjoy our small talk. I love my lash artist as she is amazing! I get the enhanced volume lashes every time and she is so talented! As a Vegas local and a beauty salon owner, I'm extremely particular about my lashes. I was skeptical at first because I'm already get used to the dramatic effects that I usually get from my lash tech in Vegas, but oh boy... Dolly Effect proved me wrong. I texted at 12 am in the morning, desperately in need of a next day appointment and Nancy managed to squeeze me in, scheduling was quick and easy, you have to put down $50 deposit to secure your spot, which is very understandable, especially during the COVID pandemic. I was greeted and welcomed by a gentleman, I assume he's probably the manager or the boss, forgot to ask for his name though. He walked me through the process which I'm already familiar with, he was super friendly and helpful. Service was relaxing, my lash tech was very gentle and she knew exactly what I wanted, the result was amazing and I have to say this is one of the best lash set I ever had, not even exaggerating. I usually get very nervous with lashes as I used to be lash perms a long time ago but for some strange reason I started getting anxiety attacks. The staff here at Dolly completely understood my situation and so they explained to me how the lash extension process works and during my appt they even spritz some lavender to give that spa calming experience. The place at Dolly effect is so comfortable and cozy too. Everyone here is wonderful... the front desk associates are always so friendly and the lash techs, all of them do a great job. Usually I have to ask a specific person to do my eyebrows or facials but here at Dolly.... I have no preference because they are all good! Retention for lashes... for me it's about 3-4 weeks if I don't do full volume. I usually get mixed set. Definitely give them a try if you are looking to get extensions done. read more

I had my lashes done a few times and no one compares with Dolly Effect. I made several appointments with Nancy and she texted me immediately every time!! So efficient!!! Upon arrival, I noticed that the studio was very cozy, clean and the staff were very sweet and thorough. They asked me what type of lashes I'd like, what curve I prefer, the look I want to have, etc. showed me each lash and let me decide what I liked and took their time. They explained every step of the process and the lash artist apply my lashe very gentle that I fall asleep after 5 mins. Astor is the BEST. From the initial contact to now, Astor and her team are super friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The first time I got my lashes, she educated me on the lashes and made me feel like she's a long lost friend. I was nervous that I would get a reaction due to me having sensitive eyes, but it is safe to say, I haven't gotten any reaction, and I've been getting my lashes done by her since October. Incredibly shocked by the response from Dolly Effect. I've inquired a total of 3 times about their prices, each inquiry were a couple months apart. The first 2 times they were consistent with prices the 3rd time, absoltuely not. Yesterday, I sent an Inquiry along with a picture from Pinterest which is pretty much their natural set. I was quoted 229! I was shocked and sent them a snap shot of out prior messege in August where they stated their prices range from 129-169. They informed my that due to their change in location last week they've increased their prices. I've been wanting to get my lashes done by them for months and they were always located in colma. So idk how they would raise their prices by $100. So they quoted me 229 for natural set 269 for volume set. After I sent them a snap shot of the prices they quoted me before they changed their quote for the natural lashes I wanted to 169. Trying to make an appointment they said they are booked till end of January and that their is a waitlist of 34 people I can be added on. This did not make sense to me. So I reached out to someone who left a fabulous yelp review in DE's account and just got theirs done 2 weeks ago. She told me she was charged 169 for volume set and was booked the day of inquiry! On top of that, I had a friend inquire with them for pricing --- they quoted her 139 for natural set! Does this sound right to anyone else? I was so excited to go here and 2 of my friends were waiting for me to get it done in hopes to book an appointment with DE, but they are coming off as con artist. read more

Nothing but short of amazing! You don't get this type of hospitality and service anywhere! The whole Dolly team is amazing, super courteous, mindful, accommodating,and just overall amazing. I never have a hard time making an appointment. I usually come from work in the city, so 6 pm is their latest appointment, sometimes it'll get pushed back to 6:15 or 6:30, and they will ask if that's okay. Works for me though, because I don't have to leave work early. I was committed to a previous artist in the east bay bc it was cheap. I thought I had it good till I came to Dolly. My lashes last twice as long! And they're so light and fluffy! It was crazy to feel the difference in weight when I got a new set of volume lashes. It's takes a few appointments but we have the length that works for me! I had a problem with my lashes growing out quickly, by week 2, they were heavy and bent in different directions. I love that team always takes the time to make sure the lashes look great before sending you off. I was never told about how to care about my lashes except to no get it wet the first 24 hours. Appointment experience: Nancy replied in a light speed and I wanted to make note of the most impeccable/convenient appointment reminder system l've ever seen which is great for the busy ones like myself. The experience: This is by far the most important. Astor is my technician and she is a miracle. I came from a chain studio, which despite their professional claim, made me loose tons of lashes, get red eyes and stys. Not here! Astor truly gets it. She applies to one lash with a skill and precision that makes your lashes last (beyond 3 weeks) and very beautiful. The application: I cannot believe how full, yet natural my lashes look. After doing some research, I decided to go to Dolly Effect for my first time getting eyelash extensions! It was a fantastic experience. Astor was very professional and made me feel very comfortable (plus she has years of experience). She explained the process and let me pick out the length / style of lashes. The lashes she uses are very soft and look natural. I ended up going with the 13mm lash mixed set and have received multiple compliments from strangers on how nice they look. It is right across from the Colma Bart station too so it is very accessible. It is super easy to book an appointment (if they have availability). Nancy made it convenient by texting me options and letting me book that way. They do not require you to put down a credit card like other places which made it even easier. 10/10 Recommend! read more

I got the Dolly volume set today with 11-14mm lashes. The bed was soft, the music was calming, the room was super clean, and the overall experience was amazing. All the eyelash aestheticians are equally do great work and each give a brief consultation for length, volume, and what would look best for the shape of your eye. After my eyelashes were done, she gave me a head massage, makeup bag + take care tips, and a complimentary bottle of cold water. Okay, 3rd times the charm! I've always wanted to get my lashes done so I went on a mission to search for the best place. I took prices, reviews, location convenience and styles into consideration. The first place was good and convenient but little to my knowledge (I learned this from the 2nd place I went to) apparently the first girl glued some of the lashes to my skin and some of my lashes together. Sad face! The second time was at another place and it was much better. They tended to my lashes so that they could rest from the little damage that was done from the previous place. However, it was a love/hate relationship. I really, really wanted to like that place too but within only the first week, (which was how long it ended up lasting) every. single. day. roughly at least 4 lashes fell off. Sad face once again! After more searching I stumbled upon this place. I was scared of wasting time and money again but decided to give it one last try and message them on yelp for an appointment. Nancy, their customer service rep, was super helpful in answering all my questions and helping me set up an appointment. When I got there the day of my appointment they were very prompt and hospitable. The guy at the front desk gave me a quick consultation and helped me figure out what style to get by what worked well with my eyes plus for the look I was going for. My lash artist was May and she was great! The whole boutique is also really cute and the set up was really comforting, that the hours spent on my lashes went by in a breeze. I'm pretty sure I dozed off a few times even haha. After she was finished, she also gave me a head massage. I left with a cute new makeup bag filled with essentials to take care of my lashes. I received the mixed set with a D curl. So satisfied with my experience especially after the last two, that I think I found my lash spot. I've received so many compliments on them and its also great cause they have a buddy system for friend referrals being 10% off for both parties on their next lash appointment. I have been going to Dolly Effect to see Astor for my eyelash extensions since last October. I was hesitant at first to try (in general) b/c I didn't want to damage my real lashes. I do have long lashes, but I wanted a fuller look. After doing some research on where to go, I stumbled upon Dolly Effect which was close to my house, and had great reviews. I did a test run before my Japan trip to see if I liked it and would decide if I wanted to get a refill before I leave the country for vacay. Lo and behold, fell in love. My eyelashes look amazing every time and I don't even have to wear eye makeup anymore. It was perfect for my trip, bc I didn't have to worry about "putting my face on." It has cut down my morning routine and helps me get out of the house faster to get to work! More time to sleep in. (; I'm officially an addict... Got my lashes done here a few times and they are amazing! Great professional ambiance. My lashes stayed on for a long time and looked so natural. I got hybrid set but they were a great mix of classic/light volume! They are super nice here and do such a phenomenal job! Prices are little higher than I normally would have paid at other locations but the quality of lashes is the best here! I moved to east bay recently and had my lashes done at another location and had an allergic reaction immediately after getting them applied. My go to lash spot! Astor geniuely cares and caters to your needs and your eye shape. Both her and her team are amazing and super nice. They remind you about your appointment through text a few days in advance so you don't forget. Her lash studio is extremely clean and cute!
