However, at this location - the biggest and brightest I've ever seen, does not seem to have that complaint. I came in to buy some flowers in the Garden department, and I was blown away by the huge assortment; especially of pre-made baskets. There were lots of staff members around, they were quite helpful in pulling down baskets that were hanging from the roof, answering questions, etc. And after I had spent a wack load of cash on nothing but flowers (that will most likely die in the next two months), a very nice employee even helped me out to my car and place them in my trunk with me. He even disposed of a giant bag of garbage that had been traveling around with me - like a little lost garbage puppy. Thanks to Canadian Tire I actually look like I can garden... instead of somebody who buys green nail polish suited for 16 year olds and pretends to have a green thumb.

The produce section is large, very large compared to the rest of the store, and very fresh. The meat section is nice (no Save-On though) and a pretty good deli section. With a ton of parking and the fact that there is so many other businesses in the direct vicinity; from hardware to restaurants, movie theaters , boutiques and salons... I can concievably see myself going to Windermere over a closer grocery store just because of all the area has to offer.

The self checkout was most popular method to pay but there were 2 cashiers open. We had a wait a few minutes but the service was friendly. Great if you need to pick up a few things after a movie on your way home.

The store is generally quite clean, organized, and its easy to find what you are looking for relatively quick and if you can't find it, one of the girls in the shop, will be ready to assist you.

Because they are gorgeous but a tad pricy at $100 and up. However, they also have an assortment of lower and mid priced casual wear that is super comfy for say those gals that work from home. As well as candles, gifts, hanky-panky undies, robes, etc. Really you should pop in at see the place for yourself. The items in the Reuse Area are in good condition, and are donated from patrons dropping off their old consumer products. Everyday is different and the turnaround is very fast. I left with perfect wrapping paper for free! There is no charge for collecting items at the Reuse Area.

They had lots of pick up times available which was great! I really like that when I was about to leave I was able to check in. I feel like checking in before getting there made my order come out a lot quicker. I put in my parking spot when I arrived and almost instantly someone came out with my order. The location of the pick up area is also really great here as it's separate to the regular store parking. I'm very happy with the quality and price of my items and will definitely pick up from this location again!

They offer a good selection of organic vegetables, which seem to taste better than other organic brands from competing grocery stores. Their candy section seems to be one of the best stocked ones in town, and their fruits and vegetables are always fresh. This particular location has a nice clean environment and all the shelves were well stocked. They still maintain a 'new' environment to them despite being open for over a year now. Keep in mind that this Save On is located in an area which can get heavily congested when everyone comes back from work. If you are living nearby I would go, otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way for this particular store.

Not many places in town have cut-up mango, and mangoes are kind of a pain to do yourself, so that was great. Also pineapple. I did learn to avoid the apples and grapes combo because I would almost always find the beginnings of mold in them. Too much moisture, I guess. But only a small issue. Parking can sometimes be a challenge since you have many different businesses using the lot during the day (including a GE outpost with a lot of employees). Like many of the newer and revamped Save-Ons, this one has a decent bulk department, and I also enjoyed their ready-to-eat foods. Several salads and the turkey wrap were usually excellent. Also, a small pharmacy area where I often had to stock up on allergy medicine. The prices weren't fabulous since it's one of the wealthier areas of town, but for lunch, it was better for me than feasting on the fast food options like Dairy Queen and Wok Box and it was quicker than Famoso.
