Yesterday I placed an order for pick up. The deals were amazing, some of the best I've ever seen. On an order that would normally be $200 I got it for just under $120. They had lots of pick up times available which was great! I really like that when I was about to leave I was able to check in. I feel like checking in before getting there made my order come out a lot quicker. I put in my parking spot when I arrived and almost instantly someone came out with my order. The location of the pick up area is also really great here as it's separate to the regular store parking. I'm very happy with the quality and price of my items and will definitely pick up from this location again! read more

This has to be the most disappointing and filthy Walmart I've ever been to. The lack of organization and cleanliness had me cringing. They are short staffed and everything is falling apart. Not a fun shopping experience! I will avoid this Walmart for as long as I can! read more

The Walmart experience is what it is and I've gone in depth on that in my reviews of other locations. My irritation was already running at a higher level because of the idiotic Canadian government's travel rules which forced me to go get a second COVID test before returning to the US. If I actually had the virus, I was taking it OUT of their country but because bureaucrats love to be in control, they compelled me to pay again for a test and it was a very irritating experience. They were too busy to help me when I just walked in the door so they had me schedule an appointment to come back later. Apparently the word "appointment" has a different meaning in Canada than it does in the US. I got there and they made me sit there for nearly an hour before they got to me while they served all the walk-ins even though they'd refused to serve me when I walked in earlier. Wow is all I have to say about this store... and not in a good way. I popped in to buy tomato rings and epson salt and couldn't believe this store. To begin with, it was like a ghost town for actual workers in it, it was easier to find it yourself than continue to walk around and try and find someone who actually worked in the store. There was maybe 2 women working the check outs... it was quiet like a ghost town. The shelves were missing so many items in soooooo many areas, it looked like it might be closing. It wasn't just a simple change over of seasons or items. Things were picked over, strewn all over and totally out of place for what was actually on the shelves. I don't know who the store manager is... but they are definitely dropping the ball. In addition to so many shelves being empty, the store was disgusting. There were drinks spilled all over the floors in multiple aisles, empty bottles on the shelves, and some maybe ice cream spilled all over in one of the aisles as well. I don't know if people in the area think the apocalypse was coming and needed to raid the walmart... but it was eerily creepy and dirty. So much so that I was actually uncomfortable in the store and left. This walmart should be in the "hood" and not a nice new neighborhood like it is. read more

Review Based Solely on the Photo Centre I have ordered photos from here twice and both times it has been a joke. There is never any staff. I am currently in the Walmart right now, I waited 10 minutes and there was no associate. I finally found one in Electronics who said she'd be right over and instead she ignored me to run the electronic till. I went to Customer Service who went on a hunt for someone but no one could be found...he came back telling me to wait for 10-15 more minutes because the associate is on lunch. Who takes lunch at 9:30am. I literally left him my cart(full of groceries) and walked out. I do not see the point in giving Walmart my hard earned money when this is the low level of service provided. Lesson learned: shop local, you might pay more but the service is better read more

Nothing has changed in this store since it opened. I liked to shop at this location since it wasn't very busy but it is going downhill. The sale signs were never put up so you wouldn't know it was on sale unless you went shopping prepared by looking at the flyer first. Now you can see two prices, one on the shelf and one on an end display but they don't match! When you go to the till, you need to watch and hope you getting the lower price. I purchased 12 items and 4 of the prices were wrong, then the cashier had to page for a manager to come and adjust the price. You never see any staff around so if you need help or have a question, there is no one to be seen anywhere! The photo dept. closes early so again, no staff and you cannot use the self-serve kiosks. Sadly, they do have good sale prices but no good customer service! read more

I was a little disappointed in the stock selection of this store. They didn't have the cookies, cheese or drinks I was looking for that they normally carry. This Walmart is amazing for traffic control and redeems itself by being anchored to a McDonald's and a Tim Hortons. It's nice to be able to have a coffee or a quick lunch before grocery shopping. The workers at this location are polite and the store is fairly clean. I like their competitive prices, they accept coupons and also allow you to price match. read more

Wow, I just came back from a trip to Cranbrook, BC and might I say we are really spoiled with out Supercenter locations. I never realized the size and selection difference before until now. How did we ever live with 'regular' non-supersized stores? This store is one of the latest additions in the Walmart empire. If you come during the weekdays, there is hardly anyone here, as everyone is off to work. The deals and selection are relatively the same as any other Walmart, but there seems to be a greater inventory as not many people come to this location. Something disorientating about this location is that the layout seems to be the mirror image of the other locations. In other words, the grocery section is located on the left side (versus the right side) and the automotive department is on the right (instead of the left). It was a bit confusing as I kept on wanting to go to the side of the store where I expected to find all my items in my usual Walmart, only to find that it was located on the other side of the store. It was good exercise though. Rest assured, I will never take these Supercenter locations for granted again! read more

I'm pretty sure all Walmart's have a policy where they can't open more than two tills at a time. It doesn't matter if the lines to the back of store or if Queen Elizabeth herself needed some groceries. She'd be waiting a solid 30 mins for check out just like everyone else. Why even have 27 potential check outs? Knock them out and add a bigger section for dog food or something. read more

This location used to be very reliable -- stocked shelves, helpful staff, clean... unfortunately not any more. It's now not much better than the one at SE Common. Recently went to Walmart to pick up two items. When I went to check out the 12 items or less cashiers there were about a dozen people in line and only one cashier. Thought I'd take a chance with the regular cashiers, there are 25, but only one was open and there were three people in front of me. Waited in line for 20 minutes. Absolutely terrible service. A huge store and yet they can't man the tills. The management is incompetent and unaware. I made a point of having the cashier call the manager just so I could tell her what terrible customer service they have. I won't shop there again unless I absolutely have no choice. read more

This is for the Mr. Lube located in the Walmart, not the Walmart itself. Do not go to the Mr. Lube. They are crooks. I drive a very common vehicle and was charged an extra $6 for a 'special' oil filter. I had to ask for regular motor oil -- because only two higher priced synthetic products were offered. When they called me back near the end of the service, the technician showed me the cabin air filter and offered to change it for $60. When I laughed and told him that Canadian Tire sells the replacement filter for $16 he offered to change it for $40 instead. I don't know if all Mr. Lube's are like this one, but I wouldn't doubt that this is a corporate policy. Avoid these con artists. read more
