Went to purchase some things for my organization today and forgot my receipt. Need it for itemization purposes so I called and the manager said she would call me back..never did and the manager I found out later is named Jackie. So I stopped by the dollar tree location where I was rudely treated by Brenda stating she couldn't help me print a receipt and was rude and clearly didn't care. I left my number with her in hopes she would pass it along to Jackie and she seemed as though I was inconveniencing her. Okay, I have never had a yelp account but after seeing/hearing what I've experienced at the Dollar Tree last night, I had to post something. The lady who posted before me, Ashlee C. was in the store the same time I was. I am a black woman and I was greeted by Serena when I walked into the store. I saw Serena doing her go-backs while Ashlee and her mother walked in hence why she didn't greet them. She simply did not see them. I then had the pleasure of standing behind Ashlee and her mother in line while checking out. Serena said to Ashlee's mother "would you like a bag today mam?" and continued to place her items in the bag. (no throwing had occured) she then HANDED the receipt to the mother in which they said, "just put it in the bag!" When it was Ashlee's turn to get rung up, Serenna said the usual "would you like a bag today mam?" which she responded, "so are you just unfriendly to us because we're black because you were very nice to the white man in front of us." Serena literally said and did all the same things to both parties. As stated before, I am a black woman and have had the pleasure of having Serena help me out and have made some nice conversations with her. I overheard Ashlee telling the manager that she was going to write a bad yelp review about Serena so I've been checking on here so I could defend her. Serena is the sweetest young lady and doesn't deserve to be reviewed negatively by someone who clearly has way too much time on her hands and nothing better to do. I even told her manager afterwords what really happened and her manager even said that Serena is one of her best employees and shocked to hear she was rude to anyone. I am writing this just in case her boss sees the negative review. On the side note, this dollar tree is the most organized dollar tree I've ever visited and I will definitely be coming back! read more

Bad experience. The manager, in front of customers was talking about her employee while she had many customers in line. "People in this country should be speaking English and not Spanish. They are in America and should speak the language." Then she notices me and says "now don't get me wrong at least he's working and not sitting at home just receiving a check". Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I called back to get her name and she told me she is entitled to her opinion and I'm entitled to mine. No apology whatsoever. This store is great and we especially like Irene. My 2 and a half year old got a toy skeleton Halloween decoration here and it became her best friend. One day we lost it so I called Dollar Tree after Christmas to ask if they happened to have any extras. I spoke with Irene, who told me all the Halloween stuff was in the back up on shelves and behind a bunch of Christmas stuff. When I told her my story, she went and retrieved 5 skeletons for us to come and purchase. My daughter was beyond excited to have her skeleton back and we've been keeping spares in the closet in case this one gets lost. Thanks so much, Irene! read more

Yes, it's clean, and they have a great selection of stuff. But they lose two stars for customer service. At the register, I asked the clerk if he had large plastic storage bins. First he didn't think so. Then he had, he said, a supply that just came on. I asked if someone could bring me one and he said, oh no, they're. All the way in the back. I don't get it. Whether you spend a dollar or a hundred dollars, customer service costs nothing to provide. read more

I really like this dollar tree. I recently came in and Chris was so super helpful and kind that I wish all employees would be like this because it makes the world of difference. I am knocking a star because the website says it closes at 10pm, and they actually close at 9pm. So I was disappointed when I came for something and I do not live very close, but they were closed. read more

Very friendly & helpful cashier by the name of GEORGIE" yes , like the song " hey there Georgie girl " I wasn't the first person who brought that up to her . I am a teacher and I love to come to this Dollar tree because it is by far the most organized and well stocked store I have been in. It is really clean and ALL the employes, all the way up to the manager are very patient, helpful and kind. Thank you guys! read more

Very rude cashiers who are not willing to answer questions politely. Hope someone treats you exactly the same way one day.
