The explanation that they don't receive enough trucks doesn't make sense, since other Burlington locations in nearby cities are always fully stocked. I haven't been to one of these stores in YEARS. I was at Kohl's so I decided to check it out... NOT impressed at all. I've been looking for a few new pieces to add to my wardrobe. I found 4 items that I liked then headed to the fitting room. It was closed. There was a sign that said they are only open Friday-Sunday. *annoyed* What's up with that? People shop EVERY day of the week. So I had to put out money to purchase this clothing just to try on at home then take the time (and gas) to drive back over there to return items I didn't like or fit right. I got in line to pay. I waited about 15 minutes. There was ONE cashier and roughly 8 people in line. So ridiculous. When there was 1 person left in line ahead of me another cashier came. (And then a 3rd one came while I was finally at the register checking out). The only positive about this place is that it wasn't a dirty dump. It was quite clean. Having said that, I won't be back again. Well, besides to make a return if the clothing doesn't work out. :-/ read more

One of the cleanest Burlington's still but it definitely doesn't have that new store floors anymore. :) Today is June 7, 2020 and they just re-opened after a few months of Covid 19 lockdown from being a non-essential business. Everything in the store is up to 50% off. Makeup, accessories, kids apparel, toys, homeware, kitchenware, infant clothes & accessories are all 25% off. All adult apparel is 50% off. People are buying like it's free(!) This is a great way to move a season of merchandise and make way for the new. I did not mind waiting outside for a few minutes with a nuce breeze as they counted how many were inside the store; 200 people max! Face masks are required at this time. Prior to all these changes, I've been here a good handful of times and it is NEVER busy. It's great for finding something cute and affordable that is so-so in quality so you don't feel bad if it doesn't last forever. It's also great for costume shopping! I had to find a vest for my son & for the same price for a vest at Macy's, I got a vest, tie, shirt, & pants. Hello Easter outfit & 8 year old Theodore Roosevelt! ***AVOID THIS LOCATION*** The first time I visited this store, I was disgusted by the nature of the employee helping me. She made me feel like I was a horrible human being and did not deserve to shop at Burlington. I left with such a bad feeling and shocked that Burlington would hire an employee who was so passive aggressive. I cried in the car after I left. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but decided to go back last night, with the assumption that my bad experience was just a one time deal and we are all humans who have bad days. WRONG!! Last night, there were 3 employees working at the store that I saw. It was obvious that no one wanted to be there. No one was able to answer my questions. Every time I asked a question, responses were 'I don't know.' The fitting room was open but in use when I was there and this woman waited over 20 minutes to use the fitting room. After 20 minutes of waiting, the guest who was in the fitting room at the time finally left and the door was auto locked. The Burlington employees would not unlock the door for this woman who was patiently waiting to use the fitting room. They sent her to the BATHROOM to try on her item. I wonder how many items of clothes in this store have been tried on in the BATHROOM. Based on my person point of view, employees who I encountered appear to need customer service training. The store is new and just opened. It's super clean and organized. All the sizes and things are in the right place. An organized persons dream. I haven't been to a Burlington in years, so finding all the home goods and other things was a nice surprise. They have Christmas decorations on deck ready for the holidays. Worst Burlington I have been to in terms of selection. The store is pretty bare, and when I can in search of girls clothing I was sad to find 2 rows in sizes 5-10. Its a shame because the store has plenty of space to have lots of selection, but they choose not to fill it up. If you want to be racially profiled and followed this is the perfect store for you! We walked in and we're instantly followed and asked if we were finding everything okay, since when do associates ask that? In all of the Burlington's I've shopped at this is the only place that has made me feel uncomfortable. We spent over $200 and walked out feeling uncomfortable and uneasy. From security to associates this store needs to be trained. They even talked to my MINOR when i walked away making her feel uncomfortable. Maybe next time, let loss prevention do their job if you believe someone is stealing instead of acting like y'all are getting paid to follow people around. read more

They don't allow you to use the dressing rooms. Which would be ok (I mean their business, their rules) if they warned you before you shopped around for an hour for you and your kids only to walk over and find the dressing room closed.. and no one knows when or if it will reopen and you can't see it when you are just shopping around be because it's hidden behind the toys... uggghh read more

A terrible establishment and don't even bother trying to get help with the fitting room. The past two times I have been to this location it has been closed. The first time i went into this location it was closed it was around 9:30 pm so I thought maybe they closed it for the night for cleaning or something. The second time I went in was around 12pm and it was still closed. I asked a employee about it and they said they can't do much as they don't understand why it's not open. How are you going to run a clothing store and not have a fitting room open for your customers. This Burlington store is very poorly ran and I will not be coming back to this location to shop! The good - New store, so clean and organized. Good prices. Super clean dressing rooms. The bad - not sure where their buyers are located, but the styles skew...older and maybe middle America? Not many fashionable or trendy options. ALSO: you can't take the carts outside. The cashier may tell you that someone can help you out to your car, but they don't. They just stand near the entrance talking to each other (3 of them!) while you and another elderly woman struggle with how to carry heavy and awkward items out to your vehicle. read more

1st of all I found a dress on the clearance rack the stating "up to 70% off". The dress came in at $14.99. The Clarence red tag on it was marked $16.99. Not a sale much less a clearance! The lovely cashier had to ask the supervisor, Jack, to the front for authorization to change the price. Jack came up grabbed my merchandise said "I'll help you over here" and turned his back on me wirhout ever making eye contact or smiling. He left me standing there like that for 15 minutes without a clue as to what was going on except that he made me feel like I was doing something very bad. Not in a good way. He finally confirmed that the price was wrong (I guess that's what he was doing for 15 minutes) and put the new price on for $7.99 and instead of apologizing or thanking me for my patience he just threw the item back at me and said "she'll help you when she's done" referring to the other cashier. He wouldn't even take my money. I said "really? After all that you're not even going to take my money? The cashier looked embarrassed. She had people skills. I know its hard to get new employees in today's market but do you really need a supervisor that drives customers away? This is Rossmoor and should be a good market for you but we're old and expect courtesy. You won't survive this market with supervisors like Jack. read more

I've been to this Burlington 3 times and it is very underwhelming. The clothes are outdated. The prices aren't even bargains. I went in to Burlington to look for shoes. They had one pair that would work for what I needed them for. There was a couple of marks on them. I tried rubbing it off but no luck. I asked the cashier if there could be a discount since I'd have to go home and clean them more. Angela the cashier was very friendly and said she had to ask her manager Kimberly. Kimberly offered 5%. My problem was not the amount of discount but Kimberly a manager laughed about being asked for discount. I couldn't believe it. She didn't try hiding the fact she laughed. If they had another paid of the same shoe in the same size I would have gladly taken those but they didn't. I find it to be very poor customer service for Kimberly to behave the way she did. Horrible store very unprofessional manager by name of jack mistreating employees. And well as being rude to Customer. There employees look miserable and unhappy as I walked threw isle heard employees complaining of treatment by jack and being over worked with cut hours. Shoes are sized incorrect. No one greets you. You can't find employees for help. They have things that are damage or broken. Manager Rosie be talking about customer looks. Management seems not trained. They all stand around talking about other employees. Lazy. There was only one person that was polite she had pink hair can't remember her name but was very nice and polite I think her name started with a B. Young girl. Very helpful. I even not a older lady being rude to employees at register. Employees look like there scared yo even make a mistake and ask for help.
