I will say that the app is pretty stellar and if you're new to bidding, it can get quite tricky -- but fear not, they have tutorials. I'm pretty sure you could find ANYTHING if you were constantly looking. Selection varies on a daily basis and definitely look out for last chance deals on the app as well! After winning your items, you have 3 business days to pick up. You can have them hold for an additional $5 for up to 5 business days after purchase as well. The hours for pickup/inspection are pretty much regular workdays so be careful of when your deadline to pick up is by. OKAY. Now to the warehouse *insert wide eyes* There is ample parking and for Monday at 4pm, there wasn't too much of a rush. I was carrying extra baggage (my two toddlers), so I can say my heart rate was higher than it should have been. When you enter the warehouse, you check in on the right side (can check in on app for faster process), and then you proceed to get a CART if you need one. You do have to FIND your item based on the bay (letter), shelf (number) and finally the item number. As a first timer, this may be overwhelming but don't worry, it gets easier. If you have items listed BINS -- those are at the FRONT (letters A and some of B). Once you are done loading your item(s), you go to the front and they scan out your items based off of the barcode on the box. They have streamlined the process to make it more effective and everyone was pretty understanding and attentive when I needed help.

Unfortunately, this waffle maker was by far the worst purchase I've made. It was clearly heavily used, covered in old grease and food residue, and it doesn't even power on. I honestly can't believe this item made it through inspection and was listed for sale in this condition. Selling a dirty, non-working appliance is unacceptable. My advice is to inspect every item thoroughly before leaving the pickup location. You may find some good deals, but don't assume items have been tested or are in the condition described.

The parking is atrocious, and I've almost gotten hit on multiple occasions by people speeding through, trying to cut off the light at 3009 and Woodland Oaks. Also, for some reason, my debit card will never work as debit, it always has to be run as credit. It's an out of state bank, but no other place has this problem. This means that if I get gas there, they put a $75 hold on my card for at least 3 days. It's a little frustrating. Needless to say, to get gas here, my gas light must be on. This commissary tends to have better options than the one on FT Sam. I have found a lot more of the staple items that I like to get, here at Randolph. Also, any of the times that I have shopped here have not been too crowded, which is nice. The store is very well stocked & clean. The layout is not too bad either & better than other commissaries that I have shopped in. Generally speaking, commissary pricing is usually close to what you would pay out on the normal economy, however I have seen some items that have been higher than say, Walmart or HEB. But, the trade off is that you're not paying tax on your groceries here, so it kind of evens out at times. I also appreciate the fact that the times that I have been here, the self-checkout line has not been insanely long. I imagine it probably can be though, depending on what time of day you are shopping. Fortunately, I live about equal distance between here & FT Sam, so I can easily go to either, since they both have different offerings. However, this will definitely be my go to.

Didn't regret that for a second. In fact, it has become one of my favorite shopping destinations (especially when I have a coupon in tow). Out of all the Big Lots I've been to in my life, this was one that I was extremely impressed with that it is clean and VERY ORGANIZED!!! Staff is always friendly and eager to help at all times which is very appreciated. The store itself is very organized and well stocked. I have yet to have a bad experience here and don't think I will any time soon! I highly recommend.
