A very nice and clean Dollar Tree tucked away from more busy areas. The employees are very kind and are always trying to get stock out on the floor. The selection is great and they always have new seasonal stuff. The toys department is a little lackluster unfortunately but they have a lot of great beauty products here compared to other dollar trees. This location is VERY clean! Which makes shopping less of a headache as someone who dislikes messy shelves. None of the makeup is locked away in cases which is a huge plus. They have tons of glassware, dishes, hair accessories, and candles. I went in during Mother's Day and the employees were pumping balloons like crazy! I've noticed this dollar tree always has helium so that's a great bonus. Giving 4 stars because their toy selection is small and they don't have as much skincare or hair care compared to other stores. read more

This is a mid size location across the street from Eastridge Mall. Convenient when shopping for gifts at the mall to run over for cards & gift bags. They also have a great selection of holiday decor. Grabbed my Valentine's Day stuff & put it all up the next day at work. The parking lot & Entrance are at the back, not street side. Good size lot with plenty of spaces. read more

Came for some movie snacks and eyeballs, lol. I like that they carry the candies we like. Found some colored eyeballs for crafts at work at a great price. Young girl ringing us up was friendly and helpful. read more

This is probably my favorite Dollar Tree store in East San Jose. It's not that big but the merchandise that they sell, is much more different than some of the other locations. I went to this location a lot of times during the holiday season and they had some top notch Christmas decor. I found supersized ornament garlands, Christmas inflatables and other unique Christmas decor that the other Dollar Tree locations did not have. This location has plenty of parking and never seems to be super crowded. I always am able to go in and out pretty easily without waiting in such a long line. The other locations in East San Jose seem to be super crowded compared to this location. Or maybe I just get lucky. This location always seems to be much more cleaner and more organized. You know how people have Target runs? I love doing Dollar Tree runs also lol and this location is my favorite in East San Jose. read more

My friend and I would always go to this Dollar Tree. They always got supplies that we need/want. Customer service is great (Well besides the one Viet female there, she's a total b*tch). Our favorite cashiers would always be Adline and Sandra, they are super duper fun to chat with, really kind and very helpful as well. read more

Dollar Tree - 4 for $1 - Discount Store Near Me - San Jose, California

Came by the other day to pick up random trinkets. Despite having a parking lot in the back, the patrons and vehicles are both rather decrepit... Air quality inside the store was stuffy at best. Highlight is that everything in the store was $1. Despite a slightly longer line, quality of products is pretty decent! read more

The workers can be rude here. Lines are always long. Some of the customers have their kids running around messing with the items. Workers here sometimes don't know where the items are and tell you the wrong aisle. Their parking lot is very dirty and some people don't know how to park. It's scary to go here at night because they don't have enough lights. Love going here to get discounted items. read more

Ok, A Dollar Tree Store, right? Does it really matter? Yes, it does! Had to get some last minute party supplies and the staff there are acting like Macy's staff use to act. Seriously, they are hustling keeping the store clean and organized, opening more registers when the line get long, saying hello to customers as they walk in (customers don't know what to say), and they say "thank you for shopping here". Great experience. read more

You can always find decent deals here on both branded and non name brand items, but that can only occur when they actually decide to properly stock their shelves. I've seen so many employees here walk past messes and step over items on the floor that one could easily assume that they are customers rather than workers; if it weren't for their identifying badges and green shirts that separate them. Lines get ridiculously long here and although the cashiers are trained to operate registers, they are very slow at the checkout process. read more

This location is always super clean, well stocked, and the associates are actually helpful and friendly. Downside is the parking lot is super sketchy. They also let homeless people hang out front. It's always the same guy sitting by the door begging for money. Doesn't exactly setca great tone for your shopping. read more

Dollar Tree has their parking lot and entrance in the rear. no street parking on Tully Rd. big space compared to subarban ones. only one checkout line open till manager? opened a 2nd checkout. buys: cheddar cheese popcorn, lg amazon jasmine tea(1) take outs: -locale proabably a furniture store before.... -parking lot lanes painted too narrow. read more

I'm pretty sure this Dollar Tree is a lot bigger than the one on Snell and it's so much closer to home! It's surprisingly clean and organized as I saw workers constantly rearranging it's inventory. I came here looking for baking goods for the holidays. They have a good assortment of housewares, kitchen tools and even baking pans for just a dollar. If you're looking for cheap holiday wrapping or decorations they have a good amount of stock here as well. The rest of the store is the usual; school supplies, food, cleaning supplies and health/body items. Surprisingly, they even carry frozen and refrigerated food here as well. I'm usually wary, but check expiration dates if you're daring to venture into that category. They also have a bathroom here, which is a plus. The cashiers were fast and nice. Be sure to bring your own bag to avoid paying for it! read more

I was able to buy all the parts necessary to build a fluidized aquarium filter from here. I really don't want to pay for K-1 media so I thought I would try and experiment with plastic hair beads. To be honest I don't think they work as well as the K-1 media would, but no biggie. Stuff was only one buck! read more

I do like the dollar store, everything is $1 plus tax and i simply enjoy wondering around. Dollar tree has a lot of things to offer and sometimes I leave this place with purchasing about 40 or so items. Super cheap and affordable and they even have frozen food here. At times the lanes are very long and it takes awhile because people often to get a lot of things since it is just a dollar. I have bought cups, nail polish, food containers and all sorts of things. They do a lot of candy here and a lot I haven't heard of or even knew had existed ! I like to come here for party supplies because it's cheap and i'm going to throw them out anyways. Also, I love how they are holiday oriented. especially during Christmas, Halloween, or valentines day. Some areas are messy, but move around it. read more

I came in to get Christmas candies that was 50% off. I bought them for my dad to bring back to Vietnam to handout to orphans. The signs clearly said 50% off all Christmas candies and in addition they have boxes of the candies in the Christmas box! However when checking out it was full price! I told them it was in the Christmas candies aisle and the manager by the name of VY came out just to simple tell me it's a regular merchandise and it was placed in the wrong place. First off it was there with the rest of the Christmas candies in every store and did I mentioned they were in Christmas boxing?! He then proceed to walk back in the office. I asked to speak to someone higher then he said he can provide his district manager's info and came back with 2 phone numbers for me to contact. He also told me to go on their website to file a complaint if needed. I tried calling but it did a whole runaround then when I tried to go on their website it is as useless or worse. It wouldn't provide an option to file a complaint but it indicated to press the invisible "I need more help button" I will not give and will make sure this is heard by them and everyone else. I understand they are an affordable store and I do love Dollar Tree but after this experience with the store, the management, and the while corporate "contact us" I really need to second guess the way this company runs their business. I guess customers' feedback is not important since they thing everything is too affordable...no room to complain?! read more

I drove half an hour to the store to inflate balloons after I specifically checked on line if they did that. The web site said they do but when I came in they siad they don't inflate outside balloons only if I buy them in the store. This is so annoying they say they have Hellium shortage while they inflate hundreds of their own balloons. This is a bad business practice. What happens to truth in advertising. Very disappointing read more

No kidding -,Yippee! This Dollar Tree is massive! I've been to a dozen DT's in three states and this one is very exciting. First, their helium balloons are so great, and they last! We threw a baby shower for my cousin and got 90% of the party decor there. Tablecloths, plates, napkins, trinkets, baubles, board for signage, cards and wrapping paper. The theme was pink and black and we bought a ton of Good and Plenty candies... The staff is outstanding, we called in advance, and they could not have been nicer. We shall return. read more

I went to this Dollar Tree because my children love to buy stuff. I was impressed on how clean this place is. It carries a lot of things for the whole family and even frozen food in the back, amazing! This location and the staff is always q pleasure to be around. Humble and nice, except for today. It was awkward, the manager or person in charge seemed stressed getting angry and under his breath said "this guys uh" if I heard it he heard it. For no reason! He needs to take a couple days off. The associate was very polite and working calmly doing my return. He just asked the manager a question on how to ring me up for the items I wanted within the return. Just a question, and the manager spoke to him rudely. As I was leaving thanking the associate the manager didn't seem to like me responding to when he got upset. I said, he just is returning my items but I wanted to get these new items instead if the money and then I was leaving but the manager as I was walking out said, come here. Stop and come here, rudely to him like he was in trouble for my response. I was just explaining because he seem mad. I wanted to stay to hear what he was going to say to him because the Associate was doing a fine job. I don't understand why he was upset. I was there for the whole transaction. The manager just seemed high strung. Felt bad fir the Associate thst was being very polite wishing me well as I left saying have a nice day abd me saying you too and thanking him. It Honestly felt like the manager got mad that me and the associate were getting along there was no problem I don't know why the manager got angryou've got angry and not like me to respond to Hime to respond to him it was weird maybe maybe cause I'm female I don't know but but I'm my own person and and I can respond to anybody I don't have to work there to explain why I'm returning something it was very weird it's like he didn't want me to defend the associate but nothing was happening so I don't understand why he was mad to begin with And saying things under his breath loud enough where hes insulting his employee. read more

Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! This was my first time visiting this dollar tree location. First impression, parking lot is full of trash. Another observation, dumpsters were overflowing full. No wonder the parking lot is so trashed. Winds probably swirl the trash around. Upon entering the store, I almost had a heart attack. This is a very large dollar tree but seems to be very disorganized. Every aisle I walked through had their merchandise on the floor. It seemed as a hurricane went through and basically rearranged all the items. There were only two cashiers open and each line had about 7 guests waiting. I get a feeling the workers are overwhelmed with the number of customers they receive. Still no excuse why the inside of the store resembled their trash filled parking lot. I stormed out of the store in disgust having bought nothing. I felt like I should've gotten a tetanus shot after being in that store. read more

Good selection of items and the employees were very nice. Busy store, items were pretty easy to find. What I thought was odd was that in order to use the shopping cart, you had to put in a quarter to unlock it. None of the other Dollar Tree stores nearby had this with their shopping carts. I guess it has to do with the area being east side San Jose? Overall I did like this Dollar Tree store. read more

This Dollar Tree is pretty good. Be careful when you go to the back parking lot though, you can easily miss the entrance of the driveway. But they are fully stocked and have a variety of things. I've gone to a much bigger Dollar Tree in Campbell which is why I didn't give this one a 5 but the workers there are really nice and they actually do keep the store pretty clean. I like to buy a lot of birthday party stuff here. read more

Dollar Tree - Inside Dollar Tree by the entrance - Discount Store Near Me - San Jose, California

My whole family loves shopping at the Dollar Tree!!!! People use to tease me for buying things here, but this place has a lot of good stuff and only for a $1! Pros: Really well stocked with merchandise Lots of decorations for holidays and parties Love the artificial flowers sections They have lots of snack foods, drinks, and treats Sell pretty good medicine Love the $1 balloons :D (Party City can suck it!!) Cons: Very messy Not a big selection for balloons/ restock on balloons is lagging Very crowded/ long lines Lack of cashiers Rude cashiers Not enough carts/ broken carts Small parking lot/ pot holes I really love going to this place. It has a lot of great items for only a $1. Really good place to pick up crafting supplies. I wish they still sold floral wire :c Everything is a $1 but it does add up and tax is applied at the end. read more

Recently I try the meatballs in the frozen department, and they are really good. Just like the ones that we usually made at home some time in the past. They go really well with cooked rice. Let's just say this is just a few minutes away from my work place, and it's pretty big for a Dollar Tree. Every time I come here, they are always clean and there is always parking for us right in the back. The employees are really helpful and friendly with helping me find the things that I need. Overall the service is great, and also I'm satisfied with the products I buy here. Will be coming back as usual :] read more

Dollar Tree - Wall of gift bags from plain to for babies - Discount Store Near Me - San Jose, California

Great place to get your party supplies, wrapping paper and cheap essentials around the house. The people on the other hand are not as helpful as their supplies are however, nobody wants to help, they seemed tired and unhappy to be working there. They never have helium for balloons, and service is horrible. They don't even provide wipes or hand sanitizer for Covid protection! read more

This place rocks! They're the biggest store I've been to. They have a variety of everything! I was in search of wedding gift bags. My first stop was at their Snell location, I came out with a small gift bag that barely fitted my gift. I was on Tully when I spotted this place and stopped by. They had a whole section of wedding gift bags of all sizes! For my dollar needs, I'll definitely be back at this location! read more

It's a good place to buy reading glasses,Sudoku books, and shaving cream. Where else can you find those items for a buck? In the past, they had the Rustoleum Never Wet product, but I didn't see any last time I was there. They seem to have less selection of products, and the shelves are only about 80% full. The parking lot is sketchy, but I think it's ok as long as it is not dark. read more

this is a most rude store around none of the managers or the cashier's seem to know what they're doing and the cashier's seem to want to be confrontational with every customer that comes around. they seem to challenge any customer or every little thing they're slow rude inconsiderate and unqualified and unskilled read more

I came here to get some cheap gift bags. I know...I shouldn't ask for too much considering the bags are only $1, but the selection here was very limited. I managed to find a a couple of good finds, but other than the few that I found, the rest of the bags were printed with kiddish designs. It seemed like everyone else was there for the wrapping paper, so I guess it's a good place for cheap gift wrapping items. This location is pretty messy and dirty though, so be careful. read more

Inexpensive items but some are just scattered all around, thus making it hard to find the things you want. A male cashier short changed me after I gave him five bucks claiming I only gave him a dollar. I look at him saying I gave him five bucks. He looks at me and says, whatever dude! It's only you! This dollar tree is located on Tully road. There's possible parking spaces on the street but it's better to go into the alley where they have a small parking lot, where the entrance is located. This dollar tree isn't the largest or neatest but in the San Jose area, I'd say this dollar tree is a good medium size one. They carry different items based on the season. They always carry glass cups, plastic utensils, vases, balloons, snacks, cleaning supplies, toys, party supplies, body wash, and so much more. There's some things that they sell here for only a dollar that other department stores would sell for three dollars. They even sell flower and vegetable seeds for $0.25 per packet even though it says $1 on it. There's usually one or two cash register lanes open so the line tends to get pretty long throughout the day. read more
