A very nice and clean Dollar Tree tucked away from more busy areas. The employees are very kind and are always trying to get stock out on the floor. The selection is great and they always have new seasonal stuff. The toys department is a little lackluster unfortunately but they have a lot of great beauty products here compared to other dollar trees. This location is VERY clean! Which makes shopping less of a headache as someone who dislikes messy shelves. None of the makeup is locked away in cases which is a huge plus. They have tons of glassware, dishes, hair accessories, and candles. I went in during Mother's Day and the employees were pumping balloons like crazy! I've noticed this dollar tree always has helium so that's a great bonus. This is probably my favorite Dollar Tree store in East San Jose. It's not that big but the merchandise that they sell, is much more different than some of the other locations. I went to this location a lot of times during the holiday season and they had some top notch Christmas decor. I found supersized ornament garlands, Christmas inflatables and other unique Christmas decor that the other Dollar Tree locations did not have. This location has plenty of parking and never seems to be super crowded. I always am able to go in and out pretty easily without waiting in such a long line. The other locations in East San Jose seem to be super crowded compared to this location. Or maybe I just get lucky. This location always seems to be much more cleaner and more organized. You know how people have Target runs? I love doing Dollar Tree runs also lol and this location is my favorite in East San Jose. read more

Workers here sometimes don't know where the items are and tell you the wrong aisle. Their parking lot is very dirty and some people don't know how to park. I'm pretty sure this Dollar Tree is a lot bigger than the one on Snell and it's so much closer to home! It's surprisingly clean and organized as I saw workers constantly rearranging it's inventory. I came here looking for baking goods for the holidays. They have a good assortment of housewares, kitchen tools and even baking pans for just a dollar. If you're looking for cheap holiday wrapping or decorations they have a good amount of stock here as well. The rest of the store is the usual; school supplies, food, cleaning supplies and health/body items. Surprisingly, they even carry frozen and refrigerated food here as well. I'm usually wary, but check expiration dates if you're daring to venture into that category. They also have a bathroom here, which is a plus. The cashiers were fast and nice. I do like the dollar store, everything is $1 plus tax and i simply enjoy wondering around. Dollar tree has a lot of things to offer and sometimes I leave this place with purchasing about 40 or so items. Super cheap and affordable and they even have frozen food here. At times the lanes are very long and it takes awhile because people often to get a lot of things since it is just a dollar. I have bought cups, nail polish, food containers and all sorts of things. They do a lot of candy here and a lot I haven't heard of or even knew had existed ! I like to come here for party supplies because it's cheap and i'm going to throw them out anyways. I came in to get Christmas candies that was 50% off. I bought them for my dad to bring back to Vietnam to handout to orphans. The signs clearly said 50% off all Christmas candies and in addition they have boxes of the candies in the Christmas box! However when checking out it was full price! I told them it was in the Christmas candies aisle and the manager by the name of VY came out just to simple tell me it's a regular merchandise and it was placed in the wrong place. First off it was there with the rest of the Christmas candies in every store and did I mentioned they were in Christmas boxing?! He then proceed to walk back in the office. I asked to speak to someone higher then he said he can provide his district manager's info and came back with 2 phone numbers for me to contact. He also told me to go on their website to file a complaint if needed. I tried calling but it did a whole runaround then when I tried to go on their website it is as useless or worse. It wouldn't provide an option to file a complaint but it indicated to press the invisible "I need more help button" I will not give and will make sure this is heard by them and everyone else. I understand they are an affordable store and I do love Dollar Tree but after this experience with the store, the management, and the while corporate "contact us" I really need to second guess the way this company runs their business. I drove half an hour to the store to inflate balloons after I specifically checked on line if they did that. The web site said they do but when I came in they siad they don't inflate outside balloons only if I buy them in the store. No kidding -,Yippee! This Dollar Tree is massive! I've been to a dozen DT's in three states and this one is very exciting. First, their helium balloons are so great, and they last! We threw a baby shower for my cousin and got 90% of the party decor there. Tablecloths, plates, napkins, trinkets, baubles, board for signage, cards and wrapping paper. The theme was pink and black and we bought a ton of Good and Plenty candies... The staff is outstanding, we called in advance, and they could not have been nicer. We shall return. read more

This location and the staff is always q pleasure to be around. Humble and nice, except for today. It was awkward, the manager or person in charge seemed stressed getting angry and under his breath said "this guys uh" if I heard it he heard it. For no reason! He needs to take a couple days off. The associate was very polite and working calmly doing my return. He just asked the manager a question on how to ring me up for the items I wanted within the return. Just a question, and the manager spoke to him rudely. As I was leaving thanking the associate the manager didn't seem to like me responding to when he got upset. Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! This was my first time visiting this dollar tree location. First impression, parking lot is full of trash. Another observation, dumpsters were overflowing full. No wonder the parking lot is so trashed. Winds probably swirl the trash around. Upon entering the store, I almost had a heart attack. This is a very large dollar tree but seems to be very disorganized. Every aisle I walked through had their merchandise on the floor. It seemed as a hurricane went through and basically rearranged all the items. There were only two cashiers open and each line had about 7 guests waiting. I get a feeling the workers are overwhelmed with the number of customers they receive. Still no excuse why the inside of the store resembled their trash filled parking lot. This Dollar Tree is pretty good. Be careful when you go to the back parking lot though, you can easily miss the entrance of the driveway. But they are fully stocked and have a variety of things. I've gone to a much bigger Dollar Tree in Campbell which is why I didn't give this one a 5 but the workers there are really nice and they actually do keep the store pretty clean. This dollar tree is located on Tully road. There's possible parking spaces on the street but it's better to go into the alley where they have a small parking lot, where the entrance is located. This dollar tree isn't the largest or neatest but in the San Jose area, I'd say this dollar tree is a good medium size one. They carry different items based on the season. They always carry glass cups, plastic utensils, vases, balloons, snacks, cleaning supplies, toys, party supplies, body wash, and so much more. There's some things that they sell here for only a dollar that other department stores would sell for three dollars. They even sell flower and vegetable seeds for $0.25 per packet even though it says $1 on it. There's usually one or two cash register lanes open so the line tends to get pretty long throughout the day. read more
