I am a handicap person, so there was absolutely no way I could shop at the store and I will never return very sad because Monterey does not have a Dollar General and my mom and I enjoy shopping at Dollar General's in Modesto, California, and Ceres, California, but we will never return to Salina's for the Dollar General.

I have never seen it so dirty here, pee left by homeless against the outside walls, sweets and gum wrappers tossed all over the gutters , blowing around in the wind, some plastic clothing hangers tossed outside, maybe from a ripoff, it looks like an old abandoned building on the outside. I use that for family strawberry weekly smoothie to Costco version actually sustains us a lot longer. It's Organic and smells good when open it, but I recommend putting it in another bag, labeling it when you purchased it and opened it. So reminds you buy again. Roses and trees help people from empty gardens. Food items and plant life are good value, just they don't send newsletters or magazines early enough. Perishable items are left in random aisles (I understand this is caused by customers, not staff), and there are some sanitary issues that really need to be addressed. Particularly in the restroom which looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Just look at the dust and grime in the stall. Yuck! Costco continues to provide great value on items but this location needs better management to get it up to the same standards are those in the Bay Area and Monterey, Santa Cruz, etc...
