I haven't been able to visit pg as often as i'd like anymore but i will definately donate again... service was always kindness all volunteers worked here amazing humans giving of their time... so i say this thank you for all the years of service and last i was in the shop, my daughters little ballerina stand that was at the door opening still sits in the store... she is now IN college getting her PHD i miss my thrifting with her but i'll definately be in again one day... regards, Corina L.

I feel it's important to report a disturbing experience that I recently had at Spirals Consignment…read morein Pacific Grove. I brought a clothing/shoe consignment in to Spiirals which included 2 beautiful high end leather jackets, both in excellent condition. In the past, within a day or two, I would receive a list of the items received by the shop. After a week I did not receive a list so I stopped by to ask and was told by Abby, the manager, that they were low on staff and volunteers and therefore, no list. I went to the back room and saw that all of my conslgned clothes were hanging on a rack there. I waited another week and returned to the store to find that my clothes were still in the back room but about to be put out on the floor. When I returned the following week I found that some of my clothes were out on the floor but no leather jackets. I asked if they were sold and I was told that they had to check to see where they were. They did not get back to me so I, again, returned to the store and was told the jackets could no be found, probably due to theft. Both jackets disappeared. Spirals accepts no responsibilty for theft or damage. Needless to say this was a very frustrating, disappointing and unpleasant experience. Potential consignors beware.

They have a tag system where some things are 20% off all the way down to $1.50 and I managed to score quite a few few things at the dollar 50 price including some new tags Eileen Fisher pieces! This is a great cause as well as a cute store with really nice people. The Larger store which is farther down towards Pacific Grove has lots of housewares as well. The smaller store which is just up the block from the Goodwill is more boutique awesome place to go Do Not not miss this on your Thrift trip to Monterey.

My experience with She's consignment store has not been positive. Even before the arson incident…read more(in which I lost several hundreds of dollars of my irreplaceable, consigned belongings), this business was disorganized and the payouts for my items sold were very infrequent. I would have to wait several months for a check. Since the arson, I have contacted this business multiple times to see if I might be able to get any kind of reimbursement from the owner's insurance payout and I was completely ignored. Since all the inventory which made up her business was owned by the consignors, she should have made an effort to do right by them. Please think twice before consigning with She's...there are better places to do so.

This is the smaller edition of this business type in ye olde San Juan Bautista and is kinda sorta…read moremore conservative in it's fashion focus. Parking is street only but in San Juan Bautista that just means you'll be down a side street a block or so away. This is a straightforward shop-it's a direct line from the entrance all the way to the back wall and the consignment sections line either side. The very back is where the changing rooms (trying on clothes booths I mean) are, and it's also the consignment what has the big and tall section. Generally the clothing is of older more conservative styling, but well, it's a consignment store so the stock rotates and you never quite know what will turn up. Better then average selection of accessories, and there is a small amount of art/home decor stuff some of which is excellent. They do have a small selection of formal shoes, but really this is not a dedicated shoe store. Still some good finds upon occasion however. Great spot for vintage. Pricing is as marked buttt....sometimes if the person running the register is the consignee bargaining can sometimes can be done. Generally speaking you are looking at twenty to forty dollars an item, sometimes more sometimes a bit less. Finding a complete outfit will either be expensive or hard to do what with all the matching. Finding that one special thing that completes your look at a total bargain is much more likely. At the end of the day this is well organized lightly used women's fashion stop.
