Unfortunately, the performer was actively involved for only about 20 minutes and spent much of the remaining time standing in a corner and waving. I later learned that Luis had quoted another client $260 for similar services, while I was charged $375. I was also told that the performer himself was being paid only $30 per hour. When I raised concerns about the service and pricing, Luis called me a liar instead of addressing them professionally. He also told me this was his "best performer" and that his other performers were female, which I found inappropriate and irrelevant. Overall, the service did not match what was promised, the pricing appeared inconsistent, and my concerns were handled very unprofessionally. I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

The last bridesmaids dress I got there a few months ago, when it came in I knew it would probably need alterations. Unfortunately for me, she declared it a perfect fit, in a big hurry and the dress was so tight I was miserable all night and had a blister in one side where the boning in the dress dug into me. I've been shopping at JOANN Fabrics and Crafts off and on for many years now. Way back when it was…read morejust a fabric store and was called "JoAnne's Fabrics", my mom brought me along here to purchase fabric that she would later turn into dresses and skirts for herself and my sisters. At the time, it was really the only place where you could buy fabric. With the emergence of several competitors, that JOANN's store and many others, shut down due to lack of business. Now here we are present day, and the store has reemerged like "a Phoenix rising from the ashes" and has completely reinvented themselves and their brand! The complete brand overhaul is probably to keep up with the competition. Now at least half of the store includes a craft section providing supplies for hobbyists, artists, and crafters alike. Of course if you are a seamstress and enjoy sewing, this place is undoubtedly the best place to go. However now it is also an arts and crafts supply store, with some home décor items thrown in for good measure. As a jewelry maker I find that their beads section and jewelry making supplies section are surprisingly pretty decent. Now that I think of it, it seems as if the beads are always on sale! I think their ever constant sales and reasonable prices help them stay relevant and allows them to keep up with their competitors. On my very first visit here, I signed up for coupons to be automatically sent to me via text. It seems like I hear from them at least once a week! The coupon I look forward to the most is their 60% off coupon. Not even their competitors will offer a discount that low! A drawback about their coupon program is they discount their big ticket items, high value items, and popular items at the same time that they distribute their coupon promotion. Therefore preventing you from using the coupon on most of their high priced and popular items. It's a sneaky tactic but all arts and crafts stores do this. Coupons are designed to lure you into the store. Once you are in the store they tempt you to purchase more than you intended on purchasing by having other sales and marked down merchandise all happening at the same time! Unfortunately with so few items NOT on sale you can end up not using the coupon at all and/or end up with a cart full of items you really didn't intend on buying in the first place but did because they were on sale! Well I caught on to their scheme! I usually use the coupons on basic crafting essentials that I use all the time, like glue, packing supplies, or jewelry making supplies and other items that are not hugely popular because those are the items that tend to not be on sale as often. It's important to remember that most coupons cannot be combined with any other sales or coupons. Some of their high value items don't even qualify for the coupon program entirely! So be sure to read the fine print before shopping and checking out with your coupon in hand. The biggest bummer is that their instructional magazines and books are never, ever a part of the coupon promotions. Yup, you guessed it: books and magazines are high in price so they are NEVER on sale! I guess they have to earn their money somehow! My favorite section of the store by far is their button section! Every type of button imaginable is available here! Looking for a steampunk inspired cogs button or an octopus button? This is where you can find both! My last visit here I spent several minutes at their button wall because the selection of buttons was so eclectic and vast it can get overwhelming! Their smaller sections are the painting section, baking section, and garden section. The store isn't as large as their competitors but it definitely has its charms. Smaller crowds for one. You can spend about an hour or so at their competitor's store on the other side of town, mostly because you are waiting in a very long line! Here, I hardly have to wait to checkout and if I do it's because no more than one or two people are in front of me. So the smaller crowds is a definite plus. There is also plenty of parking with chain restaurants nearby. You could literally do your shopping and grab a bite to eat all at the same time! I suggest checking out the wall located on the far back right hand side of the store for shelves holding their clearance items. I have found items there that I was intending on purchasing at full price so it's a good idea to check there first. But as mentioned earlier, your coupon is no good with sale or clearance items. This store is your one stop shop for fabric and sundries but if you like arts and crafts, this place is worth checking out!
