    We brought in a brand new cathedral veil with rhinestones to be steamed…read more Upon pickup we notice there is a tear in it. I looked at their steamer and I could tell what had happened, It was extremely obvious that one of the rhinestones got caught which caused the rip in the fabric. Hey accidents happen, just let the customer know and tell them you'll fix it, right? Well that was not the case here. Employees were insistent that I had brought my veil in with the rip and they were not liable for it. We were basically blamed for the ripped veil & charged us an alteration fee for a mistake that was caused in THEIR store. Their solution was "we can pull up the cameras" and we have "witnesses ". They even turned the tables and said they never check items that customers bring in because they trust us customer to be honest. The manager got involved and was extremely rude and eventually slapped the desk in front of my face and told one of the associates to take the charge off our invoice and walked away with not even an apology. Employees were rude as well and gave plenty of attitude. Let's be logical, if a bride is going to get married in 3 days and brings in her veil to be steamed and she did have a rip in her veil, she would have addressed it in the first place. This was never addressed bc there never was a rip... we only needed our veil to be steamed. Be warned, your wedding day is important and if you come here for a solution, you will be walking out with a HUGE problem that never existed in the first place.

After trying to pick out a suit for myself, they ended up getting the wrong suit for me and so when I tried to cancel 2 weeks in advance, they still charged me a cancellation of $50 dollars for something they got wrong to begin with. please please please just save your money and go someplace else.

Anyway, I came back to the Women's Department and grabbed all the jeans I could find in my size (6) pairs. I headed to Fitting Room and there I heard a woman yell out... there's a woman with a cart full of jeans??? I was shocked that an employee would yell that out into the Fitting Room to another employee??? I was like... is she talking about ME! Mind you I only took (2) pairs to try on. I was troubled by the comment thinking to myself does she think I'm stealing all these jeans... I had a small black bag that only fit my little wallet, phone and keys... not POSSIBLE!!! So, I head to the register, and the lady there says oh you found all your jeans??? I was like YES, they were referring to ME. I have been a Kohls customer for like 15 years or more and I use my Kohls credit card every time! I am disgusted by the fact that employees think everyone is in their store to steal??? No, we are NOT! It's DISRESPECTFUL to announce such a thing and if you are so concerned maybe your store should invest more on security. Also, that employee needs to be spoken to because she could have been more discreet/responsible about the whole situation. This store is rude and they NEED more CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!

    We had a very negative experience yesterday at the JCPenney salon…read more It wasn't the salon itself... But the provider Adrien/AJ. I hesitate in writing a "negative review" because.... it is not my desire to hurt anybody. But I think that our experience needs to be shared. I dropped my 21-year-old off to have her haircut. She has longer hair and was looking for a simple cut- no layering... just a clean up. She had specific pictures in mind that her hair could potentially do . When I came back near the end of the appointment, ... The first thing I saw was that her bangs were cut much higher than she had told me she wanted. I asked her about that while AJ/Adrian was still working---- I said: "wow your bangs are short-- you went a lot higher than I thought you would go". I could see the concerned look in her face-- So I zipped it from there. Not only were they shorter, but they were very blocky with absolutely no blending done . They just had a blocky chunky- flip- forward movement. The back was not anything close to looking finished either. I asked him about the point that her hair came to-which was off-center. She was trying to be positive and said, "that's what I asked for"----- but I could see it was a jagged offset point. It looked like a craggy shoreline. There were also stray long hairs here and there in the front angles. In addition to not blending the bangs into the corner/temple-line of her hair--- He cut the bang wedge very deep -- instead of the wispy Front bang she wanted. So it just went from a chunky bang- to long front temple corner pieces --- not graduating at all. It really looked bad and blocky and totally unblended. This haircut cost us $60. I went ahead and tipped the $10- I should not have tipped him... but it was habit. And I hadn't really looked at her hair yet to see just how bad it was. We did that when we got home. It was really heartbreaking. In the salon, I didn't have the heart to critically look at it because she was already upset... But trying to hide it. Two hours later we found another Stylist who was able to blend and thin the bangs into something that made my daughter very happy. It looked so much better!! In addition to the bad haircut we got by Adrian/AJ..., I would say the negative energy that came from him towards both my daughter and myself when I showed up to pay... was palpable. When we left the salon- I asked her if his energy had been so negative during the whole appointment. She said, "yes -- it felt very tense". The poor quality of cut felt 'spiteful' to her. Not sure what is going on in his life right now, but I would avoid him for the time being. On a side-note ----, the savior-stylist's name was Jasmine Tamayo at "Jasmine Loren Salon And Blowdry Bar" -- She was so empathetic, and saw us immediately. She was ready to put the apron on my daughter to 'fix it" ... But immediately read her body language that she was not ready to trust her because of what had just been done to her hair. So she put down the apron and just chatted with her. Jasmine gave us advice about how to move forward and what could be done in the immediate. She won my daughter over and gained her trust. Not only did she fix it, but I would say it's a style that my daughter might lean towards-- with a longer bang. Her blending skills were off the charts. On top of this, she only charged us $10 to do a bang cut. Of course I tipped her more than she charged. If you want a great haircut... Go see Jasmine Tamayo at Jasmine Loren Salon And Blowdry Bar. I'm heading over to write her a positive / glowing review. She's the BEST!! (831) 998-7570
