We were able to do our event between $500 - $1000 and have the furniture and additions needed to make it look like the 1890s London space we were looking for. During the process, they recommended extra items and also advised against pieces that didn't fit with our theme. I really appreciated how ethical they were and how trustworthy. They came to deliver our items at the appointed date and time on the weekend and picked up the next day. And what's even better? They put them exactly where we needed them! Another local company (won't mention the name) brought the other items hours late and dumped them at the base of our driveway. She seemed totally put out. She was so incredibly rude, I couldn't believe it. I decided I didn't need some plates I had ordered; she told me I would have to pay a 25% fee for changing my mind. I didn't understand the policy and the way she was explaining it to me. She got really upset with me. I had to send my friend in to ask her again what the policy is. I didn't mind paying the 25%, I just wanted to understand the policy because it was not what I was told when I originally ordered my items. I got to the point where i didn't even want to go back. I needed more items so i went down the street to Celebrations where I received the best customer service ever. I left a message for the owner to call me but never received a call from her. On a positive note, the delivery guys were great!!

It could be that they are amazing at the events they supply rentals for, but my suggestion would be to get a comparison quote for the same items from another rental company.

I called A to Z, and they were absolutely fantastic to work with and had beautiful silverware (a lovely ornate antique set that fit with the eclectic vibe I was already going for) at a reasonable price. Since we would be leaving for our venue in Big Sur at 8AM and staying the night, they were accommodating with our limited needs for a pick up/drop off time. Upon getting to our venue the day before the wedding, we also realized the tables were not as pictured and would need tablecloths! A to Z was - once again - very accommodating and quickly added tablecloths to the order, used a credit card on file, and my brother-in-law picked them up within hours. For the other silverware renters, we ended up (unknowingly) returning less silverware than we rented. The fee was reasonable (maybe $30 for 10 pieces), and A to Z was very nice about the situation. I just didn't realize that we needed to give very explicit instructions to the waitstaff about gathering trash, and maybe we should have checked the trash at the end of the night. Just a heads-up to other large events!
