I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a deeply upsetting experience at your store on…read moreSunday, March 22, 2026, at approximately 6:12pm. As a supporter of your organization's mission, I was shocked by the blatant lack of professionalism and the hostile environment I encountered. The most distressing part of my visit occurred as I was putting my shopping cart away. My cashier, Samia T, was talking about me to a colleague while looking directly at me and laughing. This behavior was derogatory and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. To be mocked by the very staff member that assisted with the checkout is utterly unacceptable. The hostility continued at the register. Samia T was slamming my items onto the counter after scanning them, showing a complete lack of care for my purchases. The situation culminated when she refused to sell me a symbolic, holy item because the price tag had fallen off - an issue caused by the store's own poor labeling, which I noticed throughout the disorganized shelves. When I requested a manager to resolve the matter, I was met with further disappointment. The manager was entirely lacking in compassion and flatly refused to price the item - despite my explanation that the sticker had fallen off and adhered to another item in my cart. I left your store feeling devalued and disgusted. The combination of being laughed at by your staff and the cold, unhelpful response from management suggests a significant breakdown in your customer service standards. I trust you will investigate this matter with the seriousness it deserves. Customers are asked to make an additional donation at the end of a purchase but won't sell a symbolic holy item for $2.99. Im sorry but WHY do goodwills now close at 6pm? I understand why these were the hours during covid…read morebut to keep it like that makes no sense. Most people get out of work at 530. So I can literally never make it to the store. Even staying open until 7 is more normal than closing at 6. Not to mention they give an announcement every 5 minutes starting at 5 reminding everyone the store is closing at 6. Annoying. And if something is not priced they won't sell it to you. It's junk just say it's $5.99 and sell it. Ridiculous.

The 3 stars is being generous here…read more If you've been to one Walmart, you've been to them all. Some are passable and some are utterly putrid. This one ranks about in the middle, meaning there are both better and worse locations than this one. One positive is that the store was decently stocked. Another positive was that there was actually one friendly employee - imagine that, a 'friendly' employee. Not that this employee was friendly to me, but I overheard an interaction with a customer near me and I was impressed this employee was decent. Of course the rest of the employees here weren't impressive and were the usual. Some visibly show that they just don't care. Regardless, it's the hiring managers' fault. There were a few long lines at checkout with few very cashiers - you know the drill. The self checkouts moved a little faster, but those with full carts tied those up. The parking lot is decently sized with more than enough spots - the front spots are the most busy since a lot of people fear walking a few extra feet. For peace and peace of mind, plenty of spots the more rear to the lot you go. This Walmart is okay. Been to better and been to plenty worse than this. If this is your local location and/or you're in the area, you can do a lot worse than this.

I very rarely go to Walmart let alone this particular store. But I must say there's a reason I will…read morenever go back here again. None of the people that work here know where any of their merchandise is located and they don't really care whether or not if you find it. They seem angry and disinterested and kind of just throw up their hands as if they say, I give up. There's something radically wrong with the store and with the people who work there and who run it. I hope somebody from corporate sees this review. This place is a real dumpster fire and shit show. It needs to be retrenched, I will never go back to the store again.

A very cool comic shop with a lot to offer for comic fans…read more With their ever-present Halloween decor and surprisingly organized interiors, Gotham Comics is not your run of the mill comic shop. From new issues to back log, everything has a neat and tidy place, making browsing quick and effortless. They place a variety of mid-level rare comics ranging in price from $15 to $40 near most of the comic shelves, which make for both excellent window shopping and dangerous impulse purchases. They have a nice selection of old and new comics, mostly from DC and Marvel, so Gotham might not be great if you're looking for more obscure or niche comic brands. Similarly, this is a comic shop first, and things like games have a small presence. I also have to mention the staff working at Gotham. The employee was super helpful, going above and beyond in looking for issues that I couldn't immediately find. He made my visit feel extra special. The only downside with this comic shop is that it isn't located closer to my home! Otherwise I'd go there every week!

Quaint little comic book shop that totally gives off the "local comic shop" vibe from the 90's…read more Take it for what it is, and don't expect it to have everything you're looking for. But if you're looking for mainstream new releases, chances are you'll find them on release day (maybe the week after too). Not too much else to look at, especially collectibles, so your visit will probably be a whole lot shorter than other comic book shops (which is better for your wallet). But if you're in the area and you're in a pinch for that new Batman comic, this is your place. It was a hot day when I visited and they just had a couple floor fans running. Nothing gets me out of a comic book shop faster than sweaty hands on loose/unbagged books. And for parking, expect to circle around a couple times (plan to pay for a meter). But service is super friendly and they take card. And like I said, for what it is/does it's still a 5 star place

Marco's emporium is a kids dream!…read more What is your little into? Superheroes? They've got marvel and DC. Barbie? So many pink boxes and accessories for dayyyys. Plus plus? So many versions, so fun fun. Hot Wheels? There are cars in every color of the rainbow. Legos? There is a giant glorious aisle of allllllll the Lego sets. Seriously, so many it'll take you 30 mins to look at all the options Dinosaurs. Roar! Sports? Basketball. Baseball. Kickball. Tennis. Check check check. Koosh! Remember koosh balls?! Yup, they've got them. Plus Paw patrol. Bluey. Ms Rachel. Little People. And a ton of educational toys. Oh and a huuuge selection of plush lovies of every kind: chickens, cows, alligators, bears. Tiger. Narwhal. Puppy. Flamingo. Hedgehog. Koala. Walrus. Looking for a way to entertain your toddler? Bring them to this part of the store and listen to them call out each animal/character. Prices I think are on par for what you would pay at any other *non*-big-box store.. and I've never seen anything 'on sale' but I think the selection of items is a big deal. There is a ton in Marco's that I've never seen in those aformentioned big-box-stores. Bonus: for the grownups - there is a section of gifts, cards, ornaments, painted wine glasses, foods/candy, etc. The seasonal section when you walk in the store is always so good. You really could just get lost in this store - there's so much stuff. Kept back a star bc for the few/random times I've been in the store (and another reviewer mentions this too) no one has ever come up to ask if I needed help finding anything. It's not a big deal.. but the staff is always just at the front desk/counter, so I guess I know where to go IF I did need help.. The couple of times I did interact at the counter the staff was very eh. Not super engaging.. which seems strange/slightly sad for a store stocked with 75% toys. The lack of engagement is something I'm willing to overlook bc the stock/variety and volume of toys is just so good.

I've wanted to write this review for some time now but was hesitant because I LOVE MARCOS and I…read moredon't want to appear like I'm bashing the place. I'm writing this in hopes that the owner will read it and perhaps consider making some changes. I was born in 1971 and raised in Pequannock so of course Marcos was a huge part of my childhood. That being said, the interrior of the store is not much different than it was when I was a child. I'm a sucker for nostalgia and I love everything retro but...all the miss matched grungy utility mats on the floor are sad. The tattered old ugly awnings on the outside are sad. The boring window displays are sad. The woman who works behind the counter is sad and not very friendly. You work in a toy store for crying out loud It's not The Gulog! The staff in general is just MEH and don't seem very interested in helping anyone. I'm a huge advocate of supporting local business so paying a bit more is fine by me. I do all my toy and gift shopping here and I stop in when I need a break from the cruel hard world. I walk the isles and reminisce about a simpler place in time when I had not a single care in the world. I leave with a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. I don't want the place to change per se it just needs a few tweaks here and there. Fix up the outside for a more pleasing and welcoming appearance. Dress up the window displays for the seasons. Replace the darn awnings for crying out loud. Don't change the sign because it's a staple, just fix it up a little. Zhuzh the place up! Your business would improve if the overall experience was happier, more pleasing and inviting. How about introducing some kid friendly experiences like a story time, Lego and Barbie workshops, craft workshops use your imagination! You have the space if you just rearranged a little. You're smack dab in the middle of a wealthy town, people will come and they will pay. Give people a reason to shop there instead of at Amazon or the big box stores. All the long time residents have wonderful memories of Marcos and I'm sure they would love to see a facelift! We all have memories of riding bikes to Marcos with a few bucks in our pockets to find some necessary treasure. Heck, I'll do your window displays for FREE If you want! Every time I drive by or come in to the store I have a million ideas as to how it could be improved. I always say "if I owned that store I'd do this or I'd do that". I say this all with LOVE and I LOVE this store so much and I wish you many many more years of succes!
