Came in a little closer to closing time so its not to crowded. Inside was very clean and well organized. Since its almost close to the holidays, i love that the decor in one side had such festive vibe and that all the holiday decors are in one area so you know where to look and not be all over the place. The items are of good quality and so I guess they are a little pricier compared to Tjmax and homegoods for example. Most of their furnitures are in very good condition as well. Spoke to three staffs today (11/5/22) for some questions (including manager and cashier) and all of them were very nice and helpful. I'd love to visit again soon!

My wife and I have a Christmas tradition of sourcing at least one of our gifts every year from a local shop so that got me scrambling to find some shops in our area. It wasn't long before I stumbled upon the amazingly cute town of Ramsey and one of it's best stores- Lilly & Kate. They have a little bit of everything. This includes but is not limited to home decor, jewelry, accessories, candles, and more. Much of what they carry are made by small independent companies and they also have a good selection of locally made products as well. Prices are fair and service was good. I was able to find a great Christmas ornament they had commissioned as well as an incredibly unique candle made by a small company in Georgia. If you're getting something for a present here, don't skip their offer to gift wrap it for you. They do a great job at that. If you're in the Bergen County area and are looking for a nice shop to browse for gifts, regardless of the recipient or occasion, make sure to add Lily & Kate to your go-to list.

Upon entering this super clean establishment as first-timers, it was a bit overwhelming with rows and rows of home goods to see and surprisingly early Halloween decorations. The layout is more like a Lowe's with very clear and organized sections. We were so happy to be able to go and shop here with ease because it wasn't packed at all. Some of the prices do seem high for what they're offering. However, there were many sales and discounts that make the rest very affordable. The staff were friendly and always helpful. My favorite part was the painting section they had so many nice pieces at really good prices. They already had holiday décor out too, and honestly it was cheaper than what I've seen at other places. I also noticed the workers were going around cleaning the areas and checking in to see if customers needed help, which I really appreciated. In April of this year (2023), I purchased a table from White House in Wayne New Jersey. It was…read moredelivered in June and there were no issues with the delivery and everything was fine. Shortly after getting the table, I placed a couple of plastic bottles on it. Later, I noticed scratches where I had placed the bottles (see attached photo). I thought the scratches might just be marks on the surface and tried to rub them out. I used a plastic scrubber and only made matters worse. I contacted the sales rep at White House Furniture and their response was basically, "oh, well." They would do nothing to help me repair the damage aside from giving me the name of a refinisher. This is a DINING ROOM TABLE but now I am now afraid to put anything on it because it scratches so easily. This table, plus delivery cost me almost $2,000 and I am stuck with a table that needs to be covered to be used. I might as well have gone to a Bob's furniture store and purchased a cheap one if it is going to be covered all the time. I like working with the smaller vendors but will not support vendors who do not stand behind their products. Avoid these people.

I contacted Allyson from A and R and she agreed to meet with me in her store and assist me. I brought with me samples of the remodel tiles, fabric samples etc. She spent a good deal of time with me and also showed me a special paint line of BM I didn't even know about. She came up with the perfect colors. Then I was able to go down the street to the paint store she recommended me to to buy samples. I bought the 3 paint colors to NYC today and they were perfect. Best of all, they listened, captured, and implemented our design needs and style. When possible they worked with items currently in our home. Our first project, with A&R, was redecorating a room in which they added to the existing furnishings. The proportions of the furniture are perfect and they knew exactly where to put that special piece. Additionally, A&R has been very helpful with our remodel. Allyson had many great suggestions and assisted in avoiding pitfalls during the construction process. Sometimes it's the small details that really give your home that extra special touch. Communication throughout the process was great. During the design process, we were shown different options both at our home and the A&R showroom and were able to understand how everything would work together. Having an open floor plan, it was important that the colors were able to tie into other rooms. We were updated on manufacturer production schedule, inspection, and delivery. We have been very happy and look forward to using A&R again!

I can't speak to their usual hours, but I believe there was an art festival that just began that night, so the shop had extended hours. The owner was so kind, helpful, friendly, fun, warm and informative. Nothing was priced, and I was a little worried I would get a crazy total at the end when I went to check out, but nope! Every single thing was incredibly reasonable. It is one of those shops where you really have to hunt, do a few laps and walkthroughs and take your time. She had clothes, bags, wall art, dishes, jewelry... you name it. I left with a seashell trinket dish, a Stangl speckled plate and a cat jar/candle that I picked up for a friend. She even wrapped that up separately because she heard me say it was a gift. There were several other shops and art galleries in this lot, but not everyone was open when we stopped in.
