Staff was friendly. Every time you go there's something new to see. Definitly worth stopping by. I've bought some wonderful things here.

Seems to have very nice household items and furnishings but a lot of the pieces seemed overpriced for a thrift shop.

I believe cheap Maggie's is a store where they purchase overstock products and sell them in their store for a discounted price. For example they had UGG shoes on sale for $59.99. I purchased a timberland belt for $17.99. My mother brought a three items and she was given a $10 discount on each item and she paid a total of $114.97 for three items. Overall, I'm assuming the prices are fair because they are cheaper than what you would purchase them for at the actual store that they come from. I saw items from stores like Lululemon, American Eagle, UGG, and Bloomingdale's. I feel like you could find some cute items here you just have to take the time to actually look through the racks. As for the sizing I felt like I saw a lot of smaller sizes. I saw some large sizes but not many XL. Also, I don't recall seeing any plus sizes.

When I first walked in, I went to the side of the store that has shoes and miscellaneous items. The floor in that section was noticeably dirty, and there was a damp smell in the air, which made me uncomfortable enough to move on quickly. The other side of the store was much better and had most of the clothing. They have a men's section and a women's section, along with racks labeled for certain brands. Some racks weren't labeled at all, so you really have to take your time and look through everything individually to find pieces that stand out to you. Toward the back of the women's side, there's a shoe area, plus a children's section, lingerie, and hosiery. There's definitely a lot to browse through if you're in the mood to hunt for deals. I ended up finding a T‑shirt, a top, some trouser socks, and a couple of men's ties. I didn't see a large amount that I personally wanted to purchase, but there were a few decent finds. The store attendant -- possibly the manager -- was extremely pleasant and gracious. They offered me 10% off my total since it was my first visit, which I really appreciated. Would I return? Possibly, but more for a few small pieces rather than a full shopping trip. It's the kind of store where you might find a gem if you're willing to sort through a lot of inventory.

I've been trying to consider thrift stores more so this would be a great place to start. However, I did bring in a car load of clothes and a van of furniture and they took everything. They were very nice people and I didn't mind giving them my Dear Mother's items considering they are helping others.

It is definitely not a luxury or high-end thrift store, but it is a great option for those who don't care much about designer labels and want to find good condition clothing and house items at a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere. The styles may not be the most fashionable or up-to-date, but a smart fashionista should have no problems creatively picking out pieces that will work for her (or him). With all the suspect donation trucks out there that supposedly goes to 'help' Veterans when a little digging shows poor stewardship of their donations and money, Hana is a great alternative. The thrift store is run to support their work in Paterson and other low-income areas, and to programs for substance abuse or at-risk children, a fact that some of their employees are rather proud of for good reason. I would rather my donations go to support local communities than the pockets for people who create 'non-profits' for their own gains. I recommend supporting this thrift store either with your money or with your donations.

As a supporter of your organization's mission, I was shocked by the blatant lack of professionalism and the hostile environment I encountered. The most distressing part of my visit occurred as I was putting my shopping cart away. My cashier, Samia T, was talking about me to a colleague while looking directly at me and laughing. This behavior was derogatory and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. To be mocked by the very staff member that assisted with the checkout is utterly unacceptable. The hostility continued at the register. Samia T was slamming my items onto the counter after scanning them, showing a complete lack of care for my purchases. The situation culminated when she refused to sell me a symbolic, holy item because the price tag had fallen off - an issue caused by the store's own poor labeling, which I noticed throughout the disorganized shelves. When I requested a manager to resolve the matter, I was met with further disappointment. The manager was entirely lacking in compassion and flatly refused to price the item - despite my explanation that the sticker had fallen off and adhered to another item in my cart. I left your store feeling devalued and disgusted. The combination of being laughed at by your staff and the cold, unhelpful response from management suggests a significant breakdown in your customer service standards. I trust you will investigate this matter with the seriousness it deserves. Customers are asked to make an additional donation at the end of a purchase but won't sell a symbolic holy item for $2.99. So I can literally never make it to the store. Even staying open until 7 is more normal than closing at 6. Not to mention they give an announcement every 5 minutes starting at 5 reminding everyone the store is closing at 6. Annoying. And if something is not priced they won't sell it to you. It's junk just say it's $5.99 and sell it. Ridiculous.
