It looks like there is no recent reviews so I would love to leave one! I just moved to the area and I was nervous to try this location because of the reviews. I decided to give it a try. To my surprise the store was clean, quiet, and good vibes. They have all the new goodies that are floating all around online! Other consumers were also very friendly while shopping! Marcus and Joann were working that day and they are so friendly I hope next time I go they are working again! Lots of parking no issues there! I am frustrated by an online transaction with this business. I ordered product from their online system to be delivered to the Placerville store on Broadway. I received an email saying that the order is at the store and ready for pick up. The store says they don't have it and to ask the online department to cancel it. The inline department says they won't canc el the order because it's shipped. I am going to file a dispute with my bank and have the charges to my debit card reversed. I am also being treated rudely by the Placerville store employees. I wish that I could give a negative stay review. I will instead tell everyone I know to avoid Dollar Tree and never shop there again! read more

Always filthy dirty, terrible customer service, no system in place for online orders, so when you show up to pick up, nobody can get your items to you except a manager who is rarely there. Disgusting tweaker and homeless people everywhere. You have to be desperate to shop here. read more

Terrible even after the homeless were moved to a different location. The store manager yells at customers and cashier's. The new assistant manager women shows up drunk to work and drug deals happen in the store with coworkers. My advice, shop at Walmart, they have comparable prices. I went in to shop and I have a medical condition. Suddenly I needed to use the restroom really bad, I asked where the restroom was, and I was told, they don't have one. I explained I had a medical condition and that I really needed to use the restroom, they still said we don't have one. I definitely won't be going back to this store!!! read more

I like going to this Dollar tree because it's close to town, and most of the time have the items i like buying, cleaning supplies, and disposable plates and spoons. Customer service is ok, what you expect from a chain store. PROS: easy access huge selection of items customer service is good but not excellent, depending on the shift CONS: could be cleaned or better organize Pan handler outside the store (not really Dollar tree fault) read more

Great store, Management needs to work w employees judging ppl w/o masks on(while they're not wearing mask or gloves) making customers explain individual disabilities and age of why your shopping during covid19 senior hours. Nobody is wiping down shopping carts or keeping the homeless six feet from the doorways with cigarette smoke, clean your own area before giving advise to others. read more

The people that work there are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes they run a little low on whatever items and I do wish they had a lot more books, or even maybe a couple magazines but in general it's pretty decent, and they have all the basic stuff including refrigerated/frozen stuff. It is located at the far end of the parking lot but instead of complaining about the random unfortunate homeless or tweakers, I feel lucky to have that much parking and like the other reviewer Karen M said, the people complaining maybe don't know how the bay area dollar stores are, always ridiculous long lines going down aisles, kids running roughshod over everything and everyone, waiting for a parking spot if you can get it or even a shopping cart, super crowded stores- I sure don't miss that at all- ppl just don't know how lucky they are. read more

This Dollar Tree is like a breath of fresh air, compared to the ones I frequented in the Bay Area. It is a pleasure not to have to step over merchandise that has been tossed in the aisles, or circumvent kids that are having a game of dodge ball in the aisle. That being said, this store will be my go to, when I need a random variety of things, (that cost more than one buck at other stores.) Update review I mentioned a few weeks ago that the area is sketchy but it be sad to see this store move away. I just don't think the workers there feel safe with homeless people walking in and out not knowing what they might do. Started off okay. Found lots and lots of stuff to fill my cart with. Store could be cleaner but not too bad. The trouble started when my 3 year old needed to use the restroom. Absolutely no public restroom I was told. Had to leave my full cart and sprint down to the grocery outlet with a little kid about to have an accident. This is my favorite store. Lot's of major brand items. This store is one of the better Dollar Tree stores. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The floors could stand to be cleaned and corporation needs to give this store more hours as this store is always busy and not enough cashier's on duty. visited this store twice in one week. First time was refused entry at the door, given an excuse remodeling. Second time that same week walked into store and the two isles that have food items were blocked and closed. Asked cashier about the closed isles and she gave a lame excuse of "we had a food fight and I am sticking to that! I asked a valid question and get a silly reply. Very, disappointed in clerk Rebecca. Bought items and paid for them. Clerk handled in the bag of my purchase. When I got home discovered, items I paid for were not in the bag. I live 15 miles away. I have been calling their phone # listed on the receipt and they just let it ring. Shame on the Placerville Dollar Tree Store. Motto, don't trust the clerk to give you the items you paid for even if they are cheap!!! read more
