the cashiers are really rude and even when you talk back they get mad like they weren't throwing your things. there are these 2 women who are really rude i went there so many times and it gets so bad that i just even leave my stuff there and walked out because im not dealing with that. Also they mumble stuff and even yelled "i told you that it was broken FUCK" at my mom, mind you she mumbled that the table thing was broken. very poor service do not come here. read more

This is my local dollar general, the closest one to my home and my family. I come here weekly for groceries and have been for years. I've called about this already and nothing was done about my interaction. I've been refraining from coming into this store on weekends because of a worker here who has been giving me trouble. i came in three weeks ago to be stared at by the cashier. Her name is Sarah. She stared at me, threw my change down at me and when i asked her to politely hand me my change she called me a 'fucking n-word' under her breath. I am black, so when i turned to ask her what she said to correct her behavior she said that she "couldn't be fired because of her disability". I don't think any establishment should hire or keep anyone who is racist purely for their disability. I was hurt, i told everyone i knew to not come back to this dollar tree. Until this issue is resolved i am not returning either. my niece found her tiktok, it's @Sarah.rawrrr . the evidence speaks for itself. read more

One of the better dollar tree stores I have visited and I have visited a bunch .This peekskill location is well stocked , organized, clean and workers who seem to care .Picked up the usual dollar tree stuff, napkins, paper plates , cups , brillo pads , cleaning supplies , , etc. That extra quarter per item has many folks upset but that's life so deal with it . For 50 bucks I got plenty of useful junk and you can never have enough Reynolds wrap or dishwashing liquid soap in my opinion. Bring your own bags as the paper bags are cheap and tear apart easily. Dollar tree in peekskill gets 4 stars on my yelp meter and the shelves are not empty and store is not a horror show mess. read more

The prices are outstanding. Once I took a tour of the store, I realized I was shopping in all the wrong places. The only draw back is that not one employee smiles. Yes, they will accommodate you and assist you with any question or concern, but everyone seems annoyed. Why? Salary? Work load? Customers? This is the only reason I did not provide this business with 5 stars. read more

July 2023, this store in Peekskill, NY was fully stocked and very clean. Hats off to the staff and Management. Much nicer then the Dollar Tree Stores in South Fla. read more

I have to say that the work is there are working very hard to keep the store cleaned and stocked. Saying that I see customers making the mess and the workers are trying to keep up, yes there are long lines but they are short staffed at times. Management is very helpful stockers are very helpful cashiers are very helpful. All new faces I hope these workers stay, Believe it or not this is one of the cleanest stores I have been in and it's also the busiest read more

This dollar tree is one of the best dollar trees around! The store is always clean. The shelves are always stocked neatly. The staff are always there to help you. I just came from the dollar tree in Mahopac, which was a mess! Stuff was everywhere on the floors The items on the shelves looks like it was just thrown there, just a mess! This Dollar Tree is fairly new so it's sad that it looks like that. The only good thing was the guy at the register was so sweet. I will never go back to that dollar tree again sticking to the Peekskill one. read more

Poor selections. Prices have gone up. Doty. Rude staff. Long lines. One of worst Dollar Trees in area

The shelves are never stocked, usually out of everything. Time after time, just empty shelves. Friendly workers but store not managed efficiently. read more

As dollar stores go this place is tits. It's a little dirty, a little disorganized, a little chaotic, but they have shit you need and it's all $1 or less. None of this BS at other dollar stores where things are $109, $1.29, etc. Also they're new and improved hours of staying open until 10 PM are pretty awesome, and they just recently installed a whole wall of freezer cases of the back of the store Dash telling you frozen foods will be arriving shortly! Now if only we can work on the incredibly stained carpeting..... read more

This is a very good Dollar Tree. The staff is hard working and friendly. I can't believe how busy this store is and how they manage to keep the shelves stocked! The store is clean and I see staff doing their best to maintain while customers make a mess. I have seen some recent poor reviews and these folks are full of crap! They offer a wide range of goods for $1.25 or less. So what if they raised their prices it took them 40 years to do it. I return my cart when I'm done. Lazy peeps leave them in the parking lot. These types of stores are typically understaffed. Occasionally there are long lines but they move quick. Maybe appy to work if long lines or no carts is an issue for you. This store has done a complete 180 degree turnaround from what it was in 2018. Keep up the good work and don't let the negative reviewers get you down. The manager and staff are doing a great job! read more

As much as I love the dollar tree, this location is the worst. I was down a different aisle with my 3 year old than 2 staff members that were cursing like sailors. So unprofessional and classless. This store is always a mess in the gift wrap section and I always get stuck waiting on a long line... This store is in desperate need of a revamp! read more

I prefer the dollar tree over other dollar stores because items are actually a dollar. Items of the shelves were pretty messy. The lines were long only had one person checking out and one other staff member I could find working. They also talked about customers in front of other customers which is a little bit unprofessional. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience I got everything I needed just compared to other dollar trees they are lacking read more

The worst Dollar Tree I've ever been to. Messy, unorganized just terrible. It's obvious that management and employees do not care.

I am writing this review on the hopes that someone in management or the Dollar Tree executives use Yelp. As you walk through the store, items are left in boxes or hand trucks blocking aisles or just outright falling all over the place. To make matters worse the shelves look like the items are just thrown with no effort to even try to stack. This is not a one time thing as you'll see this every single time you walk in the store. I understand this is a dollar store but this is an outright embarrassment to the franchise. read more

Worst Dollar Tree I've ever visited. The first time, I thought they might be doing inventory or going through a new management phase. Nope. It's always trashed with 50% empty shelves but sweet register employees and no air conditioning. That isn't right. Now I know they need me as a manager. The place could be a gold mine for ownership. As someone who highly recommends Dollar Tree but can't afford their own franchise location, I can't, in good conscience, let a place like this rest. It's time for a chat with ownership. I'm coming your way! read more

Dollar Tree. Everything is s dollar. But the store is like trash. Selves are so messy and things are thrown everywhere. I can't ever find simple things. Their system are old and they are not even updated. This store really does need improvements. I would not recommend this store even everything is dollar. read more

Well its true u get what u pay for. The thing here is all about price. Things are cheap and the have a motley of crap of your choosing. I always come here whenever I need some odd one time on a pinch. The place seems to be always a mess and under stocked. There are always aisles and aisles of empty racks. The staff frankly doesn't give a crap and mostly goofs off and take breaks together. Cashiers are rude and not happy to be there. Convient?of course but the first thing you think about when walking to this store is how fast can you get out. read more

Horribly run store. Disgruntled employees with a manager who could care less about the store and its customers, let alone her appearance. Usually deplete of goods. Not worth the time or your dollar. read more

I love it it's all a dollar, it's has good brand and a lot of things need and it saves us money

How is this place still open?!?!? Yes, they have great stuff and it's awesome for being only a dollar or even less. But has anyone from the franchise ever seen what a complete s*** show this place looks like??? Dollar Tree... HELLOO this place is embarrassing. Empty shelves, things just thrown everywhere! How can you even find things if it's all thrown into a big pile on the bottom of the shelf. They also tend to just open delivery boxes, and let people pick stuff directly from the box instead of actually displaying it. Then you get the cashier, that's just straight up MEAN. She couldn't care less. This place is just disappointing. read more

I've been to many Dollar Tree stores. This one is the absolute worst. I don't even understand how and why this place looks so bad. Clearly the management has no pride in this location. Awful. read more

Love Dollar Tree everything is a dollar. Great products, many name brands items. This location not well maintained. Always has empty shelves. Boxes are always ready to be put on shelves but rarely see people stocking. Shopping carts are hard to find. Cashiers are pleasant ,attentive however. When shelves are fully stocked great place to shop. Danbury CT location much better stocked & friendly staff too. Easy to find items. My primary location now. read more
