But on a very rare blue moon though, I stop here and get it out of my system to buy those neutral color cloth bins that come in different sizes for my Laundry Room. Or maybe pick up small containers to sort thingamajigs in my drawer- like for Hair Pins, Hair Rubber Bands, etc. I also pick up some of those cute and colorful Paper Clips or Thumb Tacks- I keep in my home office and 5lb Kettle Bells I surprisingly found for $5ea. I mean......where else can you find such a bargain like that??? Modells? I don't think so. But at any rate, Five has an endless amount of stuff- for errbody and almost every room of your home. If I need to hit these guys up for minor things at home- these are really, really good deals.

Every time I go in they tell me that they've got new craft stuff coming in or that new items just arrived. Joe, the owner, was just recognized for 10 years of service within the Somers community and they had a big bash. He won an award and the news even covered it! They get new products constantly so there's always something to see. While the prices do range from a dollar up, they're never too much to justify buying from a dollar store.

Beyond the cards, it is packed with fun stuff, collectibles and whole wall of hallmark ornaments. I always walk out with something extra. Finally, the staff is, and always has been, the best. I ordered a made-to-order Hyde upholstered swivel armchair set (two chairs) in Rustic Chenille Brown on September 16, 2025, specifically to ensure accurate color matching for a full home renovation. The chairs were delivered on December 12, 2025, and immediately upon delivery it was clear that the color did not match the agreed-upon specifications. The difference was obvious and substantial. I reported the issue right away and provided clear photographic evidence, including side-by-side comparisons with the original fabric swatch. Despite this, my request for a return and refund was denied without a substantive review. The "made-to-order" label was used as a blanket excuse rather than addressing the fact that the product did not match what was ordered. Being unable to reach anyone with decision-making authority left me with no reasonable path to resolution. Ordering made-to-order furniture should not mean forfeiting basic consumer rights--especially when the product delivered is materially different from what was promised. Overall, this experience reflects poor quality control and even worse customer service. I would strongly caution others considering made-to-order items from Pottery Barn

You can enter from the front (on the side facing the train station) or the back. If you need books, stationery, music or anything related to Nook...this is the place to go. What I really liked is the local recommendations. If you know some books you like, you'll see recommendations near those books for other things you might enjoy. Additionally, I geeked out on the local history books they have (right by the cafe). If the trains of Westchester are of interest to you, or anything historical from the area, there are some wonderful (and affordable) books for purchase. The selection was standard enough, but not as plentiful as other locations if you're just looking to browse. There are entrances/exits in both sides of the store for ease depending on which side you're coming from. If you're someone who likes blu rays/DVDs, this place had a very limited and small selection - which is better than none at all I suppose. I didn't encounter any staff, but they seemed to be busy with other customers. The general area is a little busy, with plenty of shopping options. Parking is metered street or a municipal lot. I suppose it's okay for locals looking for a quick fix or looking to order something, but I personally have no desire to come to this one again just for this store. It's not a knock against this location at all, but I'm not local and it's not worth going out of my way to come here for this alone. If you want to go to Barnes & Noble and can drive a little farther, I'd recommend going to the Mohegan Lake location (if traveling north), which is about 20-30 mins away. It's a much larger store with more options. Otherwise this one is okay.
