Great prices and selection! I needed a little clock and they had it and it was less than five dollars!

I should have taken some pics but this girl was in awe of the TWO levels with elevator and…read moreescalator. Let's go back though... the greeters both were so nice. One also kindly directed me to the ladies room (thank you very much!) , which if you're curious like me, was clean and orderly! We went directly to the snack bar aisle. So many delicious options! We maneuvered to the escalator. Cart to one side and people to the other. The worker at the top came down and assisted with the cart. I'm an utter klutz and almost didn't clear the top transition to floor so be mindful lol. The worker in woman's clothing was the absolute sweetest. She told us the pajamas we were looking at run big so size down and she said she had a pair and loves them. We got a case of seasonal cranberry seltzer and took the escalator down. At self checkout someone let us through because we were holding our purchases. Again, so nice! The pajamas were only $10- what a great value! The worker checking our receipt was so pleasant and wished us a good day. I'd love to visit again! 5 stars!

There are so many options for food and a great value. The store is huge and has a convenient escalator for you and your cart. Besides their huge parking lot, separate liquor store and gas station they are always my favorite wholesale club store

The Salvation Army - T-shirt & price of 12.99

Prices here are absolutely ridiculous. They price things far above their actual value. A t-shirt…read more(from an upscale brand) is 12.99, USED with stains. A collar shirt from brooks brothers for basically $40. Again, can find these on ebay for 15 or less, and at other salvation stores for under $8. Most staff don't speak any english & are not particularly nice. Would NOT recommend. I find it jarring that a thrift store is pricing some items at such high prices. At the end of the day, it's used clothing. If it was a designer name brand, i'd understand, but it isn't.

The Salvation Army in Port Chester New York is an atrocity. I thought it would be fantastic because…read morethey have two colors a week that the prices are half off and one color that is a dollar. Meaning that anything tagged with certain colors are on sale. If you want to find anything worthwhile, you have to spend a very long time digging through the clothes and the shoes. They have most of the handbags and wallets locked up behind the counter and when you ask to see one they give you a very nasty attitude. The bags are priced between $30 and $300. However, they don't seem to understand the worth of brands. There was a no named brand for $300 and a coach purse for $55. When I've asked to see a couple of the bags it turned out that they were not authentic. The housewares and trinkets are so outrageously expensive that I think that I might have made disapproving sounds out loud every time I turned over a mason jar and saw that it was five dollars. Between the high prices and attitude of employees I would not suggest shopping here.

The staff always seem so friendly and helpful whenever I need assistance. The best time to go is during the holidays they always have gifts under $20 that are very good quality. I even got an email confirmation. No one showed up. When I tried to contact the delivery company to find out if they were late or anything I was left on hold for over 30 min with no one answering. I sent an email as well. No answer until Monday morning for which I received a response that the email I was given to contact was in fact, incorrect. My husband went to the store to get a refund as no one could tell us where our item was or when it would be delivered and then because he paid Apple Pay, they said the cards didn't match. It was his card. He had to make two round trips to get a refund when he should have been asked to just insert his card he paid with to get a refund. Not only that, nothing was done to rectify the situation. No one ever responded to find out why we didn't receive our delivery until Monday morning someone finally called me after we spent the afternoon Sunday trying to cancel and get a refund. The whole situation was a disaster. It's a shame as we have loved shopping at HomeGoods but after this disaster and a huge waste of our time (between wasting our time waiting for a delivery that never came and no one to get in contact with, to the mistake made at cashwrap where we had to return twice when we should have only had to go in once), I don't think I'll go back. Don't get delivery from this place. Nothing was done to even care about our experience either. Such a waste of my time from start to finish.

Over the years, I've found : - strawberry flavored marshmallows - peach Coke - whole Tamarind pods - a variety of herbs and peppers - including chile cascabel, digestive blend herbs, dandelion etc - tembleque - flan - both dried mix & ready made - green corn tamales - instant corn masa - chao mein - many kinds of teriyaki & jerk sauces Step inside, wait, and imagine yourself in Mexico or Peru. If you've never been here, there's a lot to take in. You'll find brands you've never seen before. And many familiar items too. Walk past the fragrant scent of fresh cilantro. Check out the large cinnamon sticks & fresh Tamarind pods. Did you know that Tamarind pulp is a natural metal polish ? Instead of using chemicals, utensils can be polished with Tamarind. I'm happy I found this market. The lines tend to be a little long, but worth the wait. The prices are good. The parking situation isn't great - you have to pay for metered spots out front. But if you are willing to walk a little, free parking is available.

So, expect to spend some time shopping. I do like the idea that pretty much anything you need, from Kitchen Appliances to Groceries, can be found. However, here's the "Setback", Nobody who actually works there is willing to help you locate items! So you're pretty much on your own! Again, it's a HUGE Facility. So, you can end up being pretty frustrated if you're simply looking to buy three or four items and leave! A few things I've always known, having worked in the Hospitality Industry, if you want your business to flourish, Customer Service is Totally Essential. The other thing is maybe you don't need to Smile; But, a quick Hello Welcome to Restaurant Depot! Let.me know if you need any help; goes a Very Long Way in Maintaining A Steady Flow of "Repeat Customers"! Oh, and Don't Just POINT to where an item may be located! Walk the Customer to where it's located! Other than everything I've stated, the Store is Indeed Amazing and if you don't mind spending an Hour or More in the Store, then it's a GREAT Place to find your Everyday Kitchen Essentials at Extremely Affordable Prices! The Parking is Plentiful so you'll never have an issue finding a place to park. Definitely Bring Your Own Bags as Restaurant Depot DOES NOT Provide Bags!
