They are inaccurate in calling themselves "A Dollar" in big letters. Most of the merchandise I saw…read morethere was well over a dollar in price. However, they do have disposable vinyl gloves for cheaper than what you'd get at a Home Depot. I don't like that all their gloves were in large & extra large for sizes; no one ever seems to respect the needs of women, especially skinny women. I also found a set of spoons in the same design/composition that I'd been trying to replace or get more of for ages. The store is organized fairly well, wasn't messy though a little cluttered and no issues shopping here in general. FYI, there is a $10 minimum if you want to pay by debit or credit card. Located in the Galleria mall, I'd go back if I were in the area & needed something on the cheap.

this dollar store inside the galleria mall in white plains is a neat place to grab some nik naks…read morefor the home and beyond . they carry a variety of goods for a buck and more including home stuff like reuseable cleaning wipes , bathroom soaps , kitchen handys and more. i like how simple and organized the place is without the mess that you will find at dollar tree and family dollar when customers run amok, no way and i give credit to the workers who walk around making sure no mess is happening . when you shop at these type of stores it's key to remember that you are not getting grade a quality but it's good enough for me and from the crowd i am not the only one. good place to pick up plastic drinking cups and disposable spoons and forks , etc. i spent about 40 bucks and got 2 large bags with a bunch of stuff that would have cost me almost double at the local supermarket . a dollar at the galleria mall in white plains is okay with me.

I just got out of the dollar store. It's Sunday, November 23rd. I asked them to fill up three…read moreballoons for me for school. It clearly says it's $2.49 per balloon and the owner charged me 18 bucks. The cashier that I had was a really nice man and I think he felt bad that was too afraid to ask the owner for a change in price. Normally, this place is my go to thing for everything. But prices have gone up. It's literally not a dollar store anymore. They actually change the prices when they get to the cashier. Just a note to the dollar zone. I don't mind paying more for something, but I just wanted to let you know the stickers that you put on your items do not come off so it's hard to give them as a gift.

They are ridiculous....they accept NO exchanges,, even with a receipt. Everything is now $1.19…read more (wouldnt $1.20 be easier) The biggest problem is the staff...they are a large Indian family who yell across the store all the time...any time you ask where something is (since they move items constantly), they act as if you are asking for their first born child! They treat customers like cattle....they know me...i have told them i have had bowel surgery and have urgency which does not allow me to leave to go to the nearest store without a major accident...They responded that they would have me arrested. i told them to please call the cops and they could find me in the staff toilet. Since that time, they have accused me of "breaking things", leaving the BR a mess (trust me...the homeless would be offended by the filth). Oh, BTW, they never called the cops when i used their bathroom nor did they complain when i pulled deodorize, hand soap and paper towels from their shelves to stock their bathroom!! We still shop there for bargains...esp holiday items...but i am as nasty to them as they are to me and others...getting yelled at is normal for them...I remind them we are not in the streets of Calcutta and deoderant and manners are routine in our neck of the woods!! Why still shop there, you ask? Well, my shopping has decreased by at least 50% and i am very clear what i am there for and take NONE of their crap...btw, i can honestly say at least 5 of my friends feel exactly the same way...basically, we use them when it is convenient for us and we dont feel like paying $5.95 for a BD card.....but they manageed to alienate most of the neighborhood! Hope they read this and spend a. minute or two examining their behavior, Oh ...you should note that when they first opened, they were 'normal' and didnt look like they were running a Nazi camp...they really keep getting worse and worse! One Dollar Zone - That is the so called owner as she walks around the store yelling at the customers for just shopping.

I'm laughing as I write...90% of my shopping is done online. ALL of these retailers will be gone in…read morethe very near future. Brick and mortar is done. Toast. I honestly don't understand how anybody walks into a store these days to make a purchase? Must be the baby boomer market holding on for dear life. I haven't purchased a "wearable item" from a physical store...in about 17 years. However, my wife convinced me to try The Rack. I was pleasantly surprised. She went her way, I went my way, we met in the middle after 2 hours. The store was crowded and the customers were carelessly shoving unwanted items anywhere. Think Fordham Road meets the Westchester Mall. It's an eclectic mix. The employees, were diligent in trying to keep things in order. I'd be dropping F bombs at these customers. Pigs. I was also pleasantly surprised that an employee approached my wife and I, as we struggled to carry all of our finds, and brought us a cart to make it easier. Really? Wow! Excellent service. I wish I knew her name. Dare I say this...I'll be back! Loved everything we purchased and we saved a bunch of money on designer duds. I'd give 5 stars however...there was an employee drunk in the ladies shoe section. I felt bad for her but she was wasted. Smelled like a bar and kept asking if we needed help. Very nice but confused. At least she wasn't an angry drunk. Still, shouldn't be drinking while working...not a good optic. Had a great experience and will be back each season. Wow, brick and mortar captured my share of wallet...in 2017! That's impressive!

We were not greeted upon entering, and when my sister approached the register to ask about her pickup order, the employee behind the counter seemed completely uninterested in helping. After my sister explained she had received the pickup email about two weeks ago, the employee immediately said orders are automatically refunded after one week if not picked up. She didn't even bother checking to see if the order might still be there. On top of that, the store itself felt very dim and dingy. The lighting was poor, and several pieces of luggage on display looked dirty and used, especially the wheels. Overall, not a pleasant shopping experience and unfortunately not a place I would return to.
