Love the variety of party stuff they have here. There's always somebody on the floor you can ask if you're looking for something specific.

The name speaks for itself! Prices are fab but as in most off price stores it's hit and miss. You have to check in a few times a week because the merchandise is constantly changing and you never know when a great deal might pass you by.

Depends on what's important to you…read more I go here specifically for aluminum pans and containers, as well as the stuff that makes the flames that go underneath chafing dishes. I don't even know who else sells them, I've been getting them from this store for so long. When I'm there, I may find some other things that I can use. For instance, today I went in for 2 aluminum pans, but also walked out with a container of hand sanitizer, a box with compartments to prepare daily vitamins, a phone charging wire and a package of sponges for polishing silver. Total bill: $6.53, including sales tax. When needed, it's a great place for wrapping paper & bows and all kinds of cheap party supplies. There are all kinds of things you can get that actually cost $1. Be careful with the food, it may have an expired date. Most of the items are not national brand names. I'm picky about that when it comes to toiletries, so I never get any there. But it's worth a look-see to decide whether any of the myriad of things they carry are bargains for you. If you're looking for good customer service, a very clean store or if you're in a rush, this isn't the place for you. People who require good customer service should to a retail store that gets higher prices (to pay better clerks) for whatever you might get here for $1. The people are beyond rude (I usually ask other customers when I'm trying to find something) and there is no returning anything. Make sure it is what you want before you check out. I plan for time spent online (it can be 5 or 10 actual minutes) and I get the things I know work for me, so I gave it 4 stars.

A Hidden Gem with Heart This was my first time visiting the…read moreHabitat for Humanity ReStore, and it was such a wonderful experience. A friend of mine is opening a small artisan consignment shop, and we were able to find amazing store displays--stand shelving, a bench, and several other pieces that helped create the perfect rustic yet chic, neutral look she was going for. The staff and volunteers were incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Parking is free, and I highly recommend going early during the weekday to make it easier to find a spot and less crowed. This place truly carries everything you could need for your home--sofas, bedroom and office furniture, bathroom items (from sinks to toilets), pots, home décor, light fixtures, shelving... you name it, they likely have it. They are constantly receiving new donations, so you never know what you'll find on a daily or weekly basis. Every time we thought we had found everything we needed, we decided to take one more look--and each time, we discovered even more great items. On top of that, it feels especially good knowing that your purchases support such a meaningful and worthwhile organization. If you have furniture or home items to donate, this is absolutely a place to bring them. I will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in--you never know what treasures you'll find!

I didn't find what I needed but got tons of help from the staff as I looked. They even lent me their tape measure since I had forgotten mine. Employee Jenn greeted me with freshly popped popcorn since they just celebrated their grand opening. She also mentioned that they have a moving company to help you transport purchases for those of us who are car-free. * friendly helpful staff * clean * large inventory * transport available

Gotta say, for a Goodwill in the Westchester/Connecticut area (most of which are a complete waste…read moreof my time) I did not have high hopes going into this place. Generally speaking most people around here are not very interesting, don't have interesting things and thus do not donate interesting things. Sorry? Plus, I hate having to wade through these boring, healthy-looking stiffs when all I'm trying to do is buy some old lady sunglasses and something stupid that doesn't work. Anyways, while I did get some looks from people who must have thought they were shopping in a Forever 21 or Kohl's and who must've figured I was some feral hoarder here to ransack the place, I came outta here with a pretty good haul. This included a cassette tape version of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas soundtrack, a purple women's sweater with buttons sewn on the front of the collar and a stupid-looking pair of women's sunglasses (which I will naturally proudly wear with the remains of the price tags only partially scratched off the lenses). All in all, not a bad Goodwill, but skip the one's in Somers and New Rochelle.

I think that this is a flaw in the system, especially for my grandma who has a hard time moving all of the things that she needs back and forth without assistance. Fortunately, they were open, and we were able to drop off all of the things we needed to successfully. Overall it was quick and easy, which I appreciated, but I think the hours need to be straightened out.
