I love this store. The location is perfect and theres always parking. They have a wide variety of…read morethings from toys, to kitchen accessories to candles. I always end up buying more than what I originally planned but the prices are reasonable so its not a big deal. The shelves are always organized and stocked. Theres never a problem finding a staff member to help you, their spread out throughout the store and are ready to help you. All the experiences I've had shopping here have been lovely, never an issue. The lines move pretty quickly, they do their best to get you in and out.

A friend of mine is opening a small artisan consignment shop, and we were able to find amazing store displays--stand shelving, a bench, and several other pieces that helped create the perfect rustic yet chic, neutral look she was going for. The staff and volunteers were incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Parking is free, and I highly recommend going early during the weekday to make it easier to find a spot and less crowed. This place truly carries everything you could need for your home--sofas, bedroom and office furniture, bathroom items (from sinks to toilets), pots, home décor, light fixtures, shelving... you name it, they likely have it. They are constantly receiving new donations, so you never know what you'll find on a daily or weekly basis. Every time we thought we had found everything we needed, we decided to take one more look--and each time, we discovered even more great items. On top of that, it feels especially good knowing that your purchases support such a meaningful and worthwhile organization. If you have furniture or home items to donate, this is absolutely a place to bring them. I will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in--you never know what treasures you'll find!

Employee Jenn greeted me with freshly popped popcorn since they just celebrated their grand opening. I returned a Xmas gift for a relative here a few days ago and the woman at the counter seems new. That's okay. What's not okay was her and her supervisor throwing veiled hate for each other as she struggled to produce a gift card/store credit in exchange for the clothing I was returning without a receipt. I mean the hate they had was palpable and it made for uncomfortable awkward silences in-between. As for the store, it could definitely use some better organizing. One quarter of the store looked like it was in transition from the holidays. It looked terrible and uninviting. The thing that salvaged this store is that it's a tj maxx with decent selection and some good discounts. But beware of the customer servers, they got attitude.

My favourite was the corn beef with cheese, everything on it heated under a cast iron press. Oh my GOD, it was my heaven! After 45 years passed by and I had to look it up as my all'time best sandwiches. It was expensive, yes, was $8, not bad today's standards but back then was a hefty price. I've been coming here since the early '80s -- my dad introduced me to this place when I was a kid, and I've never eaten anything else from here except their famous Wedge -- a pastrami con todo (pastrami with everything). This place has been serving Yonkers residents for over 50 years, and the friendly staff really makes you feel like part of the family. I love this place, my children love this place, and my wife would kill me if she ever found out I came here and didn't bring her a sandwich or share one! Even my sister-in-law, who follows a strict gluten-free diet, sacrifices her usual routine just to enjoy one of these sandwiches. Best sandwich spot in Yonkers, hands down. They need to get rid of all the curbside parking spots and think of the handicap people more.
