I've been going to Ridge Hill mall for a while now and it's a nice semi outdoor mall which makes it that more attractive.. While it does have some great spots to shop and eat at I think it can use some more cool restaurants and retail shops. In the end, I enjoy myself up there with what they have to offer as well as their outdoor areas where I can have a seat and enjoy the sunshine! WATCH OUT FOR THE STUPID SECURITY GUARD. I was there a few days ago (April 29), early in the morning looking for the LLBean store to return an item. I asked a young, male Hispanic security guard who was sitting in his clearly marked security car where the store was and he told me it was on the other end of the strip. (it turns out the store was on the block we were on). I was later told by a worker (who barely spoke English ) at a pizza restaurant at the other end of the strip that the LLBean was at the other end of the mall where I had been. I DON'T KNOW IF HE'S STUPID OR INCOPETENCE, BUT HOW DO YOU WORK SECURITY IN A MALL AND NOT KNOW WHERE THE STORES ARE (WHAT IF THERE WAS AN EMERGENCY). I HOPE HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO CARRY A FIREARM. I really like this mall. I come often have been here with a car and with public transportation. No issues getting here at all. There's so many parking option. Multiple food options and stores. Lots to do for families. My son loves Lego discovery and the new skyzone here. Also the burger spot is dope. My son has food allergies and it's a great safe spot for him. I am not a big fan of the 'soon-to-be-extinct' species of the Mall Shopping genre being a New York City girl. So, whenever we're out in Westchester to shop, I prefer Ridge Hill, the outdoor mall. The setting seems to mimic a small town vibe with streets and sidewalks for an outdoor shopping experience with piped in muzak playing everywhere. Like being in an elevator. They have a few popular shops: Apple, Sephora, Uniqlo, Banana Republic, the GAP, Old Navy, L.L. Bean, TJMaxx, Legoland, Cheesecake Factory, Pandora, The Container Store, Starbucks, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc. However, we very rarely buy anything. Perhaps supplies are limited or it is just plain boring. Well at least, it's an excuse to get outside and walk around, right? I usually don't like to come to Ridge Hill because of the awful parking situation. Paying to shop is ridiculous. I ordered an item for pickup because you are "supposed" to get the first 30 minutes free and I knew that I would be in and out. I parked in the garage closest to the store and set a timer when I entered the garage. I was back in my car under 20 minutes. When I was exiting, the machine said that I owed $5. I pressed the help button and explained to the agent that I had not even been in the garage for 20 minutes. She asked for my plate number and after that the gate just magically opened - because I was right. The company that owns this garage is disgusting. Clearly they are ripping people off. This is stealing. I will NEVER come back to Ridge Hill again until this parking situation is resolved. So greedy. read more

Although Ridge Hill has a limited amount of shops and dining experiences (compared to other malls) it was once a fav due to the relaxed environment. However be aware of the new parking rules, although the parking garage gates are open you are still required to pay (signage isn't obvious). The day that I visited there were tons of cars with the dreaded little orange envelope on the windshield (although it's not a citation). The fine is $10 with a $3.75 processing fee. It feels deceptive, simply charge $10 for parking, lower the gate, or have bold signage. read more

On 8/10 around 9:15AM, I went to Ridge Hill to run an errand. I am disabled and do have a handicap parking placard. There was a car parked in a handicap spot near the store that I needed to go to no handicap placard or license plate on this other car.. so I stopped and asked him if he were handicapped and he said yes I said well then you should put your placard in the window and showed him mine and he told me I should park further away than where I needed to be. He also told me that a Yonkers police officer had just passed by and didn't say a word not a surprise.. so me being disabled should have to walk a lot further because this selfish person was parked in a handicap spot because his wife was in Starbucks getting them drinks and muffins and yet a police officer said nothing unreal read more

The mall is pretty limited. Would love to see more stores like Forever 21, Marshalls, Victoria Secrets. The new parking system is obnoxious. You have to scan and pay on your phone, the least amount you can add is 4 hours. Theres no way you can spend 4 hours here unless you're going to dinner and a movie or your kids are playing here. I honestly only come here for the restaurants but am now aiming more towards going to the Palisades mall where parking is free, way better stores and more food choices. read more

Ridge hill is a nice mall with a decent selection of stores. But the parking system was changed for the worse after the Covid shut down. They have a new system in place that requires you to pay for parking but it doesn't always work correctly. The minimum parking time is 3 hours for $5.00 but most people like me don't require that much time. Seriously, I have never once stayed at ridge hill long enough to exhaust the parking time I'm forced to pay for because there is no much to do and not that many stores. I also have friends that have gotten tickets and towed at ridge hill garages even when they have paid. For example, I paid for parking one day but when I exited and the scanner read my plate I was asked to pay. The system responded as if I never paid even though I had a receipt and text on my phone proving I paid. I like this mall. They have decent restaurants, some good shopping stores such as Old Navy, Gap, Lord and Taylor, Sephora etc. They also had some great boutiques, with some pretty jewelry for sale. I saw that they had some empty stores not open yet, or still waiting to be rented. They have a Whole Foods super market if you wanna take some food home to cook, rather than dine. They have plenty of entertaining things to do such as Legoland, Rockin Jump, iFly, Comedy Club, and a Movie Theater. They have some outdoor entertainment in the winter time as well, even a play area for small children. My kids had a really pleasant time when we stop for Macaroons and Gelato. They wanted to eat at The Cheesecake factory but I told them we will do that in another visit. Its not my first visit here and it won't be my last, it's a really nice mall to visit. read more

When in Yonkers, Ridge Hill is a cute picturesque outdoor mall. This mall has something to offer for everyone. Ridge Hill is also home to the Legoland Discovery Center, and has an LL Bean store. That's not something you see everywhere. My favorite store was the Collective Cave. Brings back a sense of nostalgia. Ridge Hill Mall sets up a cute family oriented event for the kids. For instance, during Halloween, almost every store participates and hands out candy during their day time trick or treating. Seems safe, super crowded, but manageable. Make sure to bring a pen to mark off the stores on the "scavenger hunt" map they give you in the concierge table. That's a good two hours of chaos fun. Another cute holiday event they offered was the Egg Hunt in the spring. When given the chance, what kid doesn't like an egg hunt? During the winter, they offer ice skating in the plaza. While this mall was enjoyable, there was some hiccups that can easily deter you off. First, the parking that isn't done in a traditional way. You have to pay to enter this mall if you spend longer than 30 mins. There is a new system they implement that remembers your information upon registration, via QR code. I understand how it can be invasive for most, and a determining factor from coming back. Lastly, we encountered some rudeness during our time there. It was a bit off putting that early in the morning for our first time. Personally, not a deal breaker for me, but stay ready friends, stay ready for the environment for which you traverse. read more

I've been generally hard on this place, but upon the last few visits, I have warmed up a little more to this outdoor "mall". They have made some changes since I was here last and the overall general property is visually appeasing and it's a nice walk when the weather is nice. The one thing I'm still not a fan of is the parking lots and the paying for parking. Yes, most places validate here and although the cost won't break the bank, it IS annoying if you just want to come here to walk around. Leaving the lot due to the insertion of the tickets is very annoying and at times I've had to wait several minutes for the IQ challenged to understand how to put the ticket in (if they previously paid) when it would be nice to just leave. Some of the lots have valet, but thankfully I never needed that. The lot near Whole Foods is more spacious than the badly constructed one in the middle of the mall. Overall the parking is just annoying and I'd probably consider coming here if it was just free without validations or tickets. Some newer businesses have opened here more recently, but the mall does have a lot of "higher end" brands still (could care less about those places). There's no food courts, but some decent selection of eating from Subway to Elevation Burger. It's not the best place to go shopping, but you could do worse as well. While I used to occasionally stop at Ridge Hill on my way home from work, I went there yesterday with my wife and realized that given the restrictions and anxieties over the Coronavirus, shopping at this lovely outdoor mall provides a great deal of health benefits. If you are concerned about shopping in an enclosed mall, you can enjoy breathing the fresh air whike window shopping. All the stores we entered had ample hand sanitizers and virtually all the people shopping were wearing masks. Parking is now free, which is another reason to take a ride to Ridge Hill.. we were also pleased by all the sales at LL Bean and Old Navy. The only two businesses that had people waiting on lines to enter was the Apple store and Whole Foods. read more

I have been to this outdoor mall several times and don't have many complaints. I love coming here with family to enjoy the outdoors and stop by at some of the local stores. They have a lot of popular stores such as H&M, Uniqlo, REI, and Lord and Taylor just to name a few. On a warm beautiful day this is a wonderful place to go on a walk for shopping and dining. You can easily get lost wandering around as most of the stores are spread out. There are several dining options here as well. There is a Cheesecake Factory, P.F Changs, Yard House, Public Pizza, etc. There are not many options for low cost dining except for a Subways or Starbucks. The couple of times I have eaten at the restaurants here were great and the service was excellent. This place is great for date night or going out with friends. You can shop, catch a movie, or enjoy happy hour at a restaurant. As many reviewers have stated, the one major complaint is the parking. It is annoying to have to go into a garage and park to visit an outdoor mall. This is one of the main factors that prevents me from going to Ridge Hill more than once every couple of months. Most places in the mall do validate but it is a hassle if you just wanted to come for a short time and enjoy the location. Leaving is always tricky due to the backup of cars trying to leave the parking lot while inserting their parking ticket in the machine. Overall, the mall is great but I don't see myself coming here more than I need to. read more

Place is a freaking rip off. Force you to park in the lots which advertise a cheap fee of 1-4 hrs for $4. Except when you return to the lot and go to pay as you leave you find a violation notice on your car because you are supposed to pay before parking. When you call you're told "The signage says you must pay first". The smaller print on the sign as you pull in with a line of cars behind you actually says "Pay in advance". To me that means if you pre booked. Many people take it to mean that and think they can pay when they leave as most parking lots work that way. They are deliberately being misleading. The sign could just as easily say "Must pay before shopping", "Pay after leaving car before entering stores" or something similar. The fine is a minimum on $10. Then to add insult to injury, when you pay online it adds a $3.75 fee. It's a freaking rip. Many of these stores are located in other malls in the area, most of those have free parking. Avoid this place unless you are looking to get ripped off. read more

H&M buys old and used items, even curtains , any stuff you don't want or need sell it to H&M , Little Budda and Cheese Factory outlasted the competitions, Still there. Texas Brazil is the weekend LimeLight to mingle. The weekdays are for family quiet atmospheres. It's a technology world now; if you lack practice with technology and softwares then you are forgotten. All my communication with WestMed is through the app from: meditation/appointments/Dr. chat /cancellation/ facility locations, they are all through the app. Parking: 4 dollars before pandemic, Pandemic and there after were Free Parking. Now, back to reality, still 4 dollars plus an App, select the max 3-4 hrs stay and it's still 4 dollars, if u select 4-5 hrs stay then it's 6 dollars. After watching a movie, they validate your ticket and you get reimbursed . There are staff members in disguised hiding In Their vehicles waiting to give a ticket. Yes ! you get 30 min free but you can't really do much in 30 mins, just walk down the stairs and across the street then walk back to the car and that 30 mins are up. This mall keeps growing and getting better. There is something for everyone here. Plenty of places to eat (Cheesecake Factory, Subway, Lefertis and a lot more) and play (Lego Discovery Center, iFly, theater). Tons of stores and even a Whole Foods. Lowes is currently being built. There's also a cool little play area for kids. If you're looking for a specific store it can be confusing to figure out which garage to park in. Parking is paid but very reasonable. Most of the places discount or cover parking so bring your ticket with you. I love the outdoor shopping in the warm weather but wouldn't shop here much in the winter. The DreamWorks Santa experience is great if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. If you're in the Christmas spirit take an early walk through to avoid the lines as it gets closer to Christmas. It's about 10 minutes to go through and completely free. They will try to sell you pics and other stuff as you walk out. read more

This mall has an identity crisis! It would seem the development team and the management team had very conflicting visions over how this space would be used and whom their clientele would be. Or perhaps this mall was originally intended to be high-end, but they had to pivot to accommodate the changing economy. The mall itself is beautifully done and thoughtfully designed! It has speakers along the sidewalks and lit-up trees which makes walking around enjoyable, there is an abundance of inexpensive, convenient parking, and some lovely stores including, Whole Foods, a nice theater, Lego Land Discovery Center, and some others to include wellness stores. Conversely, there are low-end fast fashion and discount stores: Forever 21, TJ Maxx, H&M, Old Navy... Unfortunately the facilities are not well-maintained. There are frequent out-of-service signage and roped off stairs- and some of the stores are clearly not held to high standards in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, it's unclear which type of clientele they are trying to serve: people who prioritize low prices over the condition of the facilities or families that are happy to pay more for an elevated experience. If they are going for the former then clearly I'm not the target customer and this review shouldn't matter much anyway, but if it's the latter, it was a missed opportunity not to include a high-end anchor store such as Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's (the closest location being White Plains) and things must be better maintained! read more

Went to Ridge Hill yesterday for the first time in a long time. The parking fee seemed confusing. They had signs to pay in advance, since I did not know how long we would be there I did not pay in advance. (note, there is no ticket option when you pull in anymore) We were there for a few hours and I received a bright orange envelope on my windshield. When I arrived at home, I saw that there was a $10 charge for the few hours that I was there. I was also advise that if I did not pay it within 24 hours, I would incur a $10 dollar late penalty fee. I went online and notice that there was a section for "booted" vehicles. I guess if you don't pay the fee and return, there is a possibility your care will be booted. I paid the fee online only to be given a more than $3 surcharge to check out, which brought my total to more than $13. I WILL NOT RETURN. Ridge Hill seems to be suffering for consumers, yet they impose this asinine parking fee arrangement, which will only drive away consumers. Many stores are empty and this is only going to exacerbate the situation. I will be heading to the Westchester or other stores for my in person shopping needs and I can find another theater to use in the future. Bad planning Ridge Hill! read more

The new QR- based parking system is terrible. There is no way to pay by cash or credit card on the premises, so a customer has to risk getting their smartphone hacked by scanning a QR code, and then give up their phone number, home address and credit card information in order to park at this mall. The old system was much better and did not discriminate against people without smartphones. The cost is also too high for the location, it really should be free. Paying $6 to park for three hours in suburban Yonkers is not good value, and is greedy on the part of the owners as the mall is so out-of-the-way that the only people parking there are customers who have come to spend money in the mall. I used to come to Ridge Hill for the movie theater, but I have switched to other local options with free parking. As to factors other than parking, the music they play constantly is overly loud and detracts from the ability to relax and enjoy the outdoor areas.
