Ridge Hill is a nice addition to the area. They have loads of places to eat and lots to do. It gets a little annoying when there are hoards of unsupervised kids, walking about. Yard House, Lefteris, Texas de Brazil and Buddha are my faves. Whole Foods is on the premises and offered parking validation. If you're going to the movies, take your parking card with you for a discount off of concessions. Ridge Hill is a welcomed distraction that's close to home. read more

Ridge Hill is beautiful and I love the whole idea of the little city. I don't love all the stores that are currently open or lack there of stores. I really hope once it's done it's triple the size that it is now because it feels like there are hardly any stores past the Cheesecake Factory. And the stores that are open down there are pretty spread out. Who wants to walk from Whole Foods with groceries all the way down to Charming Charlie? Just Saying... I know they have the Trolly service but every time I've ever been here I've never seen it. :-/ I do enjoy the outdoor shopping though. read more

I've been going to Ridge Hill since not long after it first opened, I remember when only a few stores were open and most of it was still under construction. That being said, Ridge Hill has come a long way and it's still growing. Ridge Hill is an outdoor mall separated into two levels. The layout is a narrow strip with stores on both sides. Shopping is decent, however it's hard for me to go to Ridge Hill and find everything I need because there just isn't enough of a selection of stores. I feel I can find more variety at a regular indoor shopping mall. Some highlights of the shopping include Whole Foods and the Apple Store (both are pristine). They also have a Lord & Taylor which is one of my favorite places to shop, however it's a smaller branch and I don't feel they have as much of a selection as the store in Scarsdale (at least for men anyway). Dining is pretty good; it mostly consists of chains like Yard House, Havana Central, and Cheesecake Factory. Nothing too much to complain about here, just expect restaurant chain fare. A highlight of the dining is definitely Lefteris Gyro, a Greek restaurant with two other locations in Tarrytown and Mt Kisco. It's a family run restaurant and the food is some of the best Greek I've had. There are a few other things worth noting: there is a medical pavilion located in the center of Ridge Hill, a movie theater, a LegoLand, an LA Fitness, and during the holidays they have special events like a tree-lighting and other family activities. There are a lot of parking garages, but there's a design flaw where you have to greatly extend your reach to get a parking ticket. They've "resolved" this by sometimes having employees near the entrances to the garages to press the button and give you your ticket. Along with the shopping, they have also built condos adjacent to the mall. In a way they're kinda trying to make it like a little community. Overall, Ridge Hill has come a long way but it still pales in comparison to other shopping malls in terms of selection. It's nice to go there and walk around, have a little lunch, pick up a few things, but serious shoppers will find better elsewhere. read more

Parking is inconvenient and all the signs suggest you have to pay by​ credit card using a text messaging system, where in fact you don't have to do that. Paying for parking to shop seems ridiculous in the first place. The public restrooms for a mall this big are also minimal, the ones at the North end have a single toilet and no urinals for men. read more

I love coming to this place I'm not sure why it has so many low reviews. This is a great mall to get away from the city. Its a great place to bring family and friends. I'm not sure on a few comment below how people said cars speed in this mall and you find rude people I don't believe that's true. This mall has high end police officers and security guards all around theirs no way you can speed since the roads either have a stop sign a traffic light or police officer car by it. What I like most about this mall is the parking, you only pay $3 parking for the whole day don't matter what time you come. This mall has over 50 different stores and probably more. I recommend if your going out with family to go to these restaurants or even if your out on a date. Favorite restaurants, Central Havana, Yard house, Or the cheesecake Factory. They also have lots of shopping stores like sports, fashion, or make up. One of my must go to spots when I com here is H&M I love the clothing their. If I'm trying to buy something classy I go to Xpress. If I wanna buy something casual I go to Old Navy. Theirs a great selection of everything. So I recommend you walk the whole strip. One of the reasons why I come here maybe twice a month is the movie theater. I love the selection of movies and whats cool they got a small bar when you enter the movie theater pass the glass doors on the left hand they have a nice fashioned bar that's dope. Theirs a bit of everything on this mall you can go grocery shopping at there Whole Foods location and you can even go to a fitness gym called LA fitness. They also have cellphone stores like Verizon or the Apple store. Or you can go to a place like Victoria secret for the ladies or Sephora for the make up. There's a Tj Max for half off or even a lego store if you wanna take you kids shopping for toys. Now they got the indoors sky diving you cant miss that. Ridge Hill got some nerve to only have 10 minutes of free parking when it used to be 30. It takes a minimum of 5 mins to find a spot and 5 to get to your destination. So if we are running in to do quick pick up for take out we have to pay 3 or 4 dollars to get out of the garage. Whoever came up with that bright idea should really be ashamed of themselves but you know what can't be surprised with corporate greed. Way to look out for your community. read more

I had the best experience at LL Bean at Ridge Hill in Yonkers, NY. Our salesperson, Raymond Vincent. took care of my husband and I with such professionalism, patience, passion and efficiency! Customer service at this level is rare! Raymond took the time to make sure my husband's jeans were the right fit! It is imperative that you have a solid understanding of your company's products which Raymond did! He crushed it! This place is turning into a complete dump. Walk around, not one elevator or escalator in the entire place works. Try being a mom with a stroller trying to bring your daughter to a party at the cinema. God help anyone with a disability. Ridge Hill is a great mall. It is well maintained, especially the grounds and gardening. The main strip is clean and there's many options in terms of stores, including food choices. Yard House is popular, as well as Havana Cuba. Elevation Burger is a nice spot to go to for a quick bite after catching a flick at the movie theater here. The theater itself is also a nice option because it is a large theater and because of this there are rarely overwhelming crowds. Legoland and Expect Natural are great for kids, there are even a couple of candy shops close by. Whole Foods is also located here, as well as popular department stores such as Lord and Taylor. Overall is a nice mall with a great list of stores. Loews is also on its way. read more

Ridge Hill is like a second home to me. The location and all stores are well maintained. I haven't had a problem going into anywhere in all my years going here since it opened. I couldn't find the exact link for Victoria's Secret in Ridge Hill Yelp page but I wanted to write this review for Sabrina one of the Managers at Victoria's Secret Ridge Hill. I came shopping on Friday for the semi annual sale & spent probably almost $300. I was missing an item I purchased, a roller ball perfume. It was a busy day and the girl who cashed me out had been moving some items I didn't want anymore to the side, so it's possible it got caught in between something by accident. So to find out what to do, I called 9:30am Saturday morning & thr Manager Sabrina was accommodating with my schedule and wanted me to come in on a day she was there so I could get what I needed. She said bring your receipt and come in well get you the Roller Ball Perfume you paid for . I didn't get to see Sabrina today because she was held up with another customer but the associate at the register helped me out and it was 1.2.3. done. So if Sabrina from V.S. Ridge Hill gets to see this I wanted to say thank you Sabrina !! read more

Worst shopping center ever. It was when it started, it has done nothing to get better 7 years later. Everything about this location is mismanaged, rude and overall dangerous. When there is bad weather, the sidewalks and parking garages are horrid and treacherous, when the weather is fine the parking garages are horrid and treacherous. I don't understand how they could erect such a poorly planned structure, there is no room to walk let alone drive a car, especially around those turns. The gates are also poorly planned and rarely work. The guest services advertise falsely and never return calls or complaints. This is a waste of a former dump space. read more

This is the first time I've ever had the chance to watch a mall be built from the ground up and it's been pretty exciting to watch. Ridge Hill is still a really new area, so I know they have a lot of kinks to work out and I am very understanding of that. A lot of the restaurants are kind of sub-par food and service-wise, but I'm hoping that they can step their game up once they've settled in a bit more. There are however some really good restaurants like the brasserie and yard house. I'm not sure how I feel about the selection of stores they have. I'm more used to malls having a series of stores that appeal to certain people, but Ridge Hill seems to have this weird mishmash of low-end and high-end stores all in the same area. I mean is it just me or does it seem a little bit odd to have a Victoria's Secret, Sur La Table and high-end department store all on the same block? When I've come here to shop, I end up being interested in only 2 stores and having to walk half a mile to get between the two. I also find it really strange that they're selling condos in the same complex as the mall. Are people really interested in living in between a highway and a mall? That doesn't exactly seem serene. What I like the most at Ridge Hill is the movie theater. God bless whoever put that thing there. I was so sick of having to go to ratchet Cross County theater to see a movie. This place makes Cross County look like the southside of Detroit. It's a really comfortable movie experience. As for parking, there are plenty of lots but you do have to pay about $4 for them. Let me just start by saying, charging for parking is a crime in a mall. We pay the high prices for your products, the least you can do is let us park for free, you scumbags. Sure some stores validate the parking, but there aren't any human attendants, so when you stick that parking ticket into the meter, good luck. If it doesn't recognize it, you're getting charged the full amount. Lost the ticket? Full amount. It's a crime and it's going to cost this place some serious business as seen in the other reviews. Other than that, it's a decent outside mall, feels like you're in Florida or some place that isn't Yonkers. The stores and streets are all nice and clean. Not a lot of variety, to be honest, but the movie theater is really nice. I went during the day though, not sure if the riff raff comes out at night there. I'd come back here if I meant to see a few movies and maybe eat or shop at one or two of the stores I'd actually go to. Otherwise, you're better off going down to Central Park ave where there are more stores and free parking. Cut the parking nonsense out or risk driving people away. UPDATE - 11/3/13 I stopped by at night a few weeks ago to check out the Apple store and walk around a bit, it was on a Friday night and was MOBBED with teenagers. The super annoying and loud kind. Guess it's the only place to really go in Yonkers though, so that should have been expected. Bummer. read more

The parking garages are large and completely unmarked. You park your car, and there is no floor indication, no stall number, nothing to help find your car when you return! Amazing - ever heard of signs? And don't be fooled by the validated parking offered at restaurants like Cheesecake Factory! On Friday they didn't take reservations. So we arrived early and put our name on the list. We waited almost an hour (we were told 20 minutes!) for a table for 6. After our dinner, we presented our validated parking sticker at the exit. We were told the validation was only for 2.5 hours, and we exceeded that limit with our trip to the Cheesecake Factory! I explained that we didn't shop or see a movie, only had dinner. Too bad, we had to pay the parking fee anyway. POOR! read more

This review is about the North Pole event currently available for families: This was the worst experience I have ever had. Reservations were not honored and the wait was long and without any information given. No one knew what was going on. Others had been waiting for longer than one hour. Not well organized. A total mess. Disorganized. Never again. After a long wait - about an hour -- me and my 4 yr old could no longer resist the cold and wait in line longer. What a disappointment to us and all the kids who had to leave before they could get a chance to see Santa. I understand this experience is free of charge but that doesn't give the operators the right to treat the public in such a disrespectful manner. Stay away. read more

With garage after garage in this little development, you can clearly see where they are making their money. If parking was free I would definitely come back here because there are some great shops, restaurants, and a movie theater here. This mall is DANGEROUS. The street are full of speeding cars with no regard to shoppers, their children, or their strollers. The streets are congested with cars. The stress don't serve the vehicles or the shoppers. Vehicles need to be forced into a parking deck for the safety of pedestrians. These streets are an awful idea. After you close the streets to vehicles. You can open them to performers, fountains, art, or vendors. Make the streets pedestrian friendly and make this mall a safe mall to shop. read more

Visited a number of times - The Cons heavily outweigh the Pros. Cons: 1-As the commercial says "We want more...more"! Where are the stores? Walking the mall you'll cover everything in a 1/2 hour. With one true anchor (Lord & Taylor's) Ridge Hill lacks in justification. 2-Parking is uncomfortable in so many ways. The lanes inside the garages are tight. Turning those corners you hope oncoming cars are equally aware of this issue. 3-At any mall parking cost is wrong. Here it's thievery. We spent 45min at Ridge Hill - charge was 3.25. Simply put - A ripoff. 4-Sidewalks are tight. On beautiful sunny days - when crowds are out - you'll find yourself politely maneuvering between families / carriages etc. Malls should not be sidewalk shopping .Exception is by the Cheesecake Factory where the area opens up. Pros 1-With the understanding one shouldn't go to malls for "fine dining" there are enough restaurant options here. 2-Legoland - Out of curiosity we ventured in and liked what we saw. NYC Lego displays were great. Kids and families were all smiles. If this was 15 years ago I'd be spending time (and quite a few $) here. read more

The only reason this gets a 1 star is because there is no way to give a negative 1!!! More often than not, I am not able to get the creepy-voiced garage pay machine to read my card. So as I am obviously a sucker for punishment, I go there tonight for dinner at the Yard House, which is a fairly good place, so I take my chances. I try to pay for my parking and creepy-voiced machine cannot read my card YET again. This, by the way happened to another customer in front of me tonight and happens to me almost ALWAYS when I go to Ridge Hill. Here's the kicker...The REAL parking garage guy (his name was Umboku) comes over and then proceeds to tell me it's MY FAULT. Hmmm. MY fault that creepy-voiced machine cannot read my card AGAIN!! I lost it! First of all, it happens too too too too many times for it to be MY FAULT. Second, you NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER tell a customer it's her or his fault. Especially when you really have got to know that your parking machines are a major piece of ^%$#&^* technology and has not worked since you opened. Thus, my very angry response to Umboku, who was very obviously affected by my little tantrum, but do you blame me when he kept insisting it was my fault? Umboku tells me that keeping the card in your wallet affects the magnetic strip. I inform Umboku that I never had the card in my wallet as I had forgotten it in the car in the empty cup holder. So what does one have to do to keep the card pristine enough for the creepy-voiced machine to read???? Do we have to keep it in a bank vault? Perhaps one of those velvet black pads that jewelers use to show diamonds?? How about we hire a few security guards to watch the card while we shop or have dinner. I don't know. The truth is, I won't be going back to Westchester Ridge Hill for a very long time if ever again. Apparently it's all our fault that we can't keep the parking garage ticket in the right condition in order for the machine to read. It's way too much work. read more

Let's be honest ... Yonkers was in dire need of a fresh shopping center. And even though Ridge Hill isn't quite finished yet, I'm absolutely loving what they have thus far. Dining options are diverse and delicious (two of my favorite words when it comes to food): there's Yard House, Havana Central, Lefteris, Texas de Brazil, the Cheesecake Factory, Brio, Elevation Burger, Bonefish Grill, and Studio 3. That doesn't even include the vast selections at Whole Foods (which itself is sufficient reason to visit) and the Cinema de Lux. I'm not particularly big on "retail therapy" but if I was this would be my spot: White House/Black Market, Sephora, H&M, TJMaxx (obviously there are many more, I'm just listing my favorites). I'm thrilled that my new doctor is located here, in the WestMed Medical group's gorgeous building right by Lord & Taylor. And when my son gets a little older, I can't wait to take him to (the definitely overpriced, but still really cool) Legoland. read more

This place has been my favorite to shop and to enjoy a movie on a their huge screens. A nice neat place for everyone. Safe to stroll at anytime.. Got lots of securities around. A well lighted walkway for safety and feel the ambience around, something different outdoor style mall. The section for kids to play is a good place with their safety standards far better than others. They have a lot of huge parking lots and variety of shops and more are coming and more chains of restaurants around. No need to go to other malls because it's location is so accessible to all the highways here in Westchester county plus it's a signature mall. You'll find what you're looking for here.. It's always nice to have something to go to after work for happy hours or fine dinning whichever you prefer , If not you can always go to LA fitness and workout. Very decent place.. Parking Daily Rates: Up to 6 hours Monday - Thursday $3 Friday - Sunday $4 A while ago, Ridge Hill greedily raised their already high parking fees, ridding of the 30 minute grace period. Not knowing this, I ended up paying FOUR DOLLARS to spend 20 minutes in Sephora. I frequently visited Ridge Hill prior to this, but that was the last straw. Cross County is free parking. Ridge Hill should be as well. I'd be shocked if retailers were not feeling the impact of customers going elsewhere. If I want to spend an hour shopping at H&M, etc., I'll drive the extra 5 minutes down to Cross County. Also, if you want to pick up takeaway from any of the restaurants, there is no where to put your car other than in the garage ($$) or parking illegally. Cheesecake Factory has TWO curbside pickup spots. Down by Starbucks/Lefteris/Yard House there are zero. Who designed this place? Aside from the management companies self-destructing business decisions surrounding parking- the complex itself needed to be made pedestrian only. Having traffic running through the center causes so much unnecessary backups and is dangerous. read more

People have a serious gripe with the parking at Ridge Hill. Granted, it would be amazing if parking was free, but a measly $3 is not worth a bad review. I read some of the reviews because I couldn't believe the star rating and people even complained about the placement of the machine that releases the parking tickets, claiming that it's too far. Even the voice of the machines get ridiculed. Sounds more like a lot of personal issues than anything. Now, on to the star of the show. Ridge Hill. People, this place is new. I mean, they're still figuring things out. One can't be so extreme over isolated instances. The place is beautiful, the store options are extensive, and the place is clean. The overall target demographic of the shops seems to be people with some money to play with, save for TJ Maxx. I frequent Ridge Hill. I go on casual dates on the weekends and during the week, I go to LA Fitness about 3 to 5 times. People are very aggressive about the parking or the lack of this or that, but this place is still improving. I leave the star out for when store locations and restaurants are clearly shown or for maybe when parking is, dare I say, free. Ease up people! It's just a mall!! read more

Has potential, not finished yet. Has alot of great stores Desigual, Lord and Taylor, Whole Foods, Sephora, Dicks, Bed Bath and Beyond, Victorias Secrets etc. And a lot of cute boutique type stores. My only complaint is that here are a Cheesecake Factory, Brio, Havana Central and another place. You will not find a McDonald's, or any another fast food restaurant yet in this mall. I mean after shopping at many of these stores, and no pizzeria, a Chinese, Mcdonalds, Starbucks, Au bon pain etc is disappointing. I say this place has potential as I saw a lot of empty lots had construction going on and that is very promising. Will return in a few months to update the review. This place was very clean and had a very modern feel to it. Has a lil playground jungle gym thing for kids, but no kid friendly food options. They have to work on that.
