I have shopped at this store regularly -- until now. 6 days ago, I purchased a package of Black Forest Ham that had a sale date of 07/21. Today I opened it and it was rancid -- all jelled, with green growth on it. I brought it back to the store, which boasts about customer satisfaction, and the snarky guy I spoke with basically told me "that's too bad". I explained that the package was just opened and is supposed to be good for 12 more days. Nope --- he told me I had 24 hours to make a return. Well, snarky guy, you've pissed off a loyal customer who spends $100/week in your store. Ever hear of being penny wise and pound foolish??? Keep alienating your longtime customers and you'll be out of business in no time. read more

After i got home i noticed some of the fruits were rotten inside and the meat got me sick. You have to pay 25 cents just to unlock a shopping cart? I've never in my life seen a place that charges to use a shopping cart, only this one. There products are not of a good quality i find. The prices on some items are way to high and the quality isnot very good. I noticed items are also from China so buyer beware. You have to read everything carefully. Its not worth getting sick so read carefully when you buy stuff from this supermarket. read more

No frozen orange juice? $8 for 30 medium eggs....hey you can get 30 large at Shoprite for $6.50. Your generic block cheese is now worth $5 a lb??? Under $4 a lb at Shoprite and the cheese is better! Chopped meat is high priced and low quality. The good news is there are no lines to deal with....the place is empty! read more

The positives: - cheap - clean - organized The negatives: - I was looking for bread crumbs and had to ask 3 different people because the employees didn't know where they were located. - this is a very ethnic supermarket so if you are looking for a major brand name, you most likely wont find it here - they don't offer you bags for your groceries. . . I had to put my stuff in a bag myself but it wasn't a typical supermarket bag... Quite strange - the store over all reminded me of a supermarket from the 80's... It is very dated looking. I will probably not be returning here any time soon. read more

This is probably one of the worst grocery store I been to. I don't mean worst because most of employees are very nice. During 7/26/17 I had a problem. The problem I was do a return ,it did not go as good this time. As the last time I did it. My opinion is that I will never really shop at this store again because of this. There's a lot more grocery stores out there that I can recommend like Stop & Shop and ShopRite or Wegmans. I really hope that they get this problem fixed. But for now I won't be coming here so much. read more

Been shopping here for years. There was much work put into the store initially and thought it was fair priced, and the produce was stellar. After the main guy got the store going he left and the crew that ran the store were very friendly but not very good at re-stocking anything. It seems they liked what didn't sell better because then they didn't have to re-fill the shelves. But the whole thing going on in their cheese aisle with packaged sliced cheese is ridiculous. Hint..if it sells people like it.RE-ORDER already. But now that crew is gone, the new crew smacks of attitude, and some of the pricing is rip off. They sell 2 types of packaged Tostada's one cheaper than the other..but the new crew has them at the same price. If the ham rings up higher than the price on the ham case..you get scowled at and then they do you the favor.... Last thing is, that all the prices are jacked now......want frozen OJ..the new crew has none, same with apple juice...learn to re-order. Pretty empty yesterday and I expect that to continue until the place goes under or at least gets rid of the nasty attitude managers that work there now....yes, you with the punky haircut.you are who I mean tough guy. read more

Love the ethnic food and the low prices. I could go there everyday! From reading the other reviews I assume they've changed because they do bag your groceries now. I've only been going there since August of 2014 when I moved to the area and I love it! It's never crowded and the selection of unusual fruits and vegetables is great! Things that I remember from my Spanish neighborhoods growing up the Bronx. I felt nostalgic and right at home the first time I went in and now I go in there at least a few times a month for my Spanish groceries! I'm definitely a huge fan! read more
