Always got what I need. Can't beat the bargains. Sometimes they will have clearance carts where there's some great stuff

Some relatively decent bargains. Service is abysmal; zero EQ by anyone customer facing. On…read moremultiple occasions have overcharged customers. Selling expired food. Unsafe broken glass front door and the parking lot in St.Paul is in serious need of repair; huge holes that are unavoidable. Clearly customers' safety and service are not priorities here.

So I stopped here on a whim. I saw the word "bargain" and I decided to pull in because hey, they…read moremight sell to the public, because it just didn't look like it. Seriously, if you are driving by, there is nothing really to pull you into this place. The location is in an industrial area off of Kasota Ave and Hwy 280. Why would you? Well let me tell you why. It is open to the public and the place is a trip as it has everything from tools, food, clothing, kids toys, electronics, home goods, etc. If you're a fan of Axeman or Milaca Unclaimed Freight, it scratches all those itches of weird and random bargains. You name it, it probably has come through here at one point. Remember the game Operation? Ya pick out the the body parts with tweezers and try not to light the nose? $5 which was down from the discounted price of $10. The Easter baskets and stuffing I bought to load up as presents? Free. The dozen crayola colored pencils to add to those baskets? 50 cents each. The big screen TV's and some other things I saw were over priced but the lady said they would entertain all offers if they are reasonable. I mean, they had air hoses next to garden planters and straps and good grief! They simply carry a lot of random shite. Did I mention circular saw blades? Yep, they had those too. My guess is this something you need to be checking out on a regular basis. They're also selling some of the stuff on web. See the about this business notes for details on those shenanigans.

I almost didn't check this place out because I personally don't think damaged goods are worth it…read morebut wow am I glad I did! All of the items I purchase were in perfect condition. Two of the items I purchase were distressed in nature so that probably also helps haha. They have signs around the store that describe where the damage is and on the tag of each item is shows the where the damage is, however on the items I found there was just no damage! Purchases: Sam Edelman Henna Bow Slides size 8 $10 (retail $90+) Free People Rainbow distressed Britney Tee size L $5 (retail $68) Chaser peace sign distressed tank $10 (retail $30+) BP (Nordstrom brand) blanket scarf $5 (retail $20+) Total savings of $115.20 I spent less than an hour looking through the store and I'm sooo happy with my purchases. I see how this could be very hit or miss but hey I'm happy with a hit! I will be coming back but I do still have the intention of not buying clearly damaged product.

So I'm kinda cheating here by writing a similar review here that I did for the Annex on Riverside,…read morebut same same, I love them both SO MUCH. The perk about this location is that it's closer to Uptown/SLP, and if you don't like anything here (what's wrong with you), then you can go to it's sister, Optiz, for great high end and high quality brand name stuff without imperfections! So this place isn't your typical consignment store. There's so many around the area that that market is saturated and boring. No, this is a store for high end clothing that is slightly imperfect. This could mean a makeup stain from someone who tried it on in the store, a small fabric tear, a broken zipper, or a snag in the material. The imperfections range in size and severity. These clothes have never been owned--the luxury brand tags are always still attached! Annex gets shipments in 6 week cycles. The first few weeks are full price ($15-$25...still dirt cheap for high quality brands!) and the clothes that usually go during this time are the nice brands with very small imperfections. Next, the store marks ALL clothes down to $10 for a few weeks. Then to $5 for about a week. Then......$3 for two days!!! I pretty much only go during the $3 days because I love to hunt for the last treasures standing. I will add that they do have a newsletter, which at the bottom will tell you what "phase" they are on--$10, $5, and so on. That can help you plan your attack. I get the best deals here. Michael Kors, Free People, and Loft are a few of my favorite brands I get here for dirt cheap. You do have to be willing to either stitch up an imperfection or live with a slightly impaired product, but if perfection isn't a requirement for you, you have to check this place out! They have awesome bags and shoes too, but these don't go on sale typically. Shoes range from $5-$25--some have no visible imperfections, but stay away from ones with broken straps or other things not worth trying to fix. Bags usually have a little black mark or something easy to look past, and they sell great bag brands like Michael Kors and Cole Haan. I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this place. All my friends know when I wear something new that I got it for $3 at Annex. If you're willing to fix a small imperfection or look past it, this is the place for you! Happy hunting :)
