This store compared to the other location I was at yesterday is night and day. Had to come back to pick some more packing stuff as I'm pretty sure all the stores would carry the same items. Unfortunately they didn't have some things I needed. This one, they have parking as well but it's a tight squeeze as the spots are pretty narrows. Right when you walk in, it was already a rush of people. I guess it's good on that part as people are out and about in it. But the organization of everything, it was all over the place. A bit of a mess to put it politely. I get that people are going to move things around as it's a store, but it was a bit much. One person was restocking the shelves while two others was at the register. And then it became one line as the other cashier went on break. Understood, but wouldn't it would have been helpful if someone else took over. They could've been short staff in that case. But lately all the times I've been in this store, there seems to be one staff on the floor and maybe two the most on the register. It's a neighborhood store so they'll do well regardless if it's slow or busy. People will still make their way there. I'll still pop in for certain things if needed though. read more

This dollar tree location is stocked up well and kept tidy. This past Sunday I stopped by as it was on the way home, although dollar store has never been an issue, there was an angry customer who was not being nice to the cashier. Aside from that, she was holding up the line arguing back. A couple of others stood up against the angry customer because she was rude, anyways, didn't expect that little inconvenience. I found the items needed and was on my way out. Parking space is decent and you can also find street parking if the lot gets full. Overall, a great stop for last minute gifting ideas, party decorations, balloons, etc. read more

I went yesterday around 6:30 to get number balloons. I had asked one of the workers (I didn't get her name but she's one of the older ladies) if I'm able to get them on my own and right off the bat she was rude giving me attitude saying if they're there I can get them. She later said something to me and I wasn't able to hear her I said "I'm sorry" and she looked at me and completely ignored me. The number spot for the balloon I was looking for wasn't there so I asked if they had a number 5 ballon and she responded "well I told you to look, if it's not there then no" she was super rude about it when she could have just said "no I'm sorry" or "let me help you." Went to quickly grab some decorations for new years and lady was so rude. She was wearing glasses and had blondish hair. As we were exiting the store, we left empty handed and got accused of stealing even though we genuinely just didn't find what we needed lady was also super rude to a customer asking for candy canes. I was at this location on Wednesday around 4 PM, and I was shocked by how rude and disrespectful Gabby, the assistant manager, was towards a customer. There was a long line with only one register open. At one point, Gabby called for the next customer to come to register 2, but she never walked over to assist. When a customer asked if she would open the register, Gabby replied, 'Yes, but no one walked over.' After the customer started to leave, having removed her items from the belt, Gabby abruptly said, 'You know what? I'm not taking you. I'm clocking out,' and then she left." read more

I came in earlier to purchase a few Christmas bags and boxes. I was pretty satisfied with my purchase but kind of surprised at how Elizabeth and Jose (management) handled a situation with a cash paying customer. Even the cashier that rang me up Amal seemed apologetic about the whole interaction. I stayed in my lane and didn't really say much as the customer spoke up for herself. She was frustrated that there was no signage stating they didn't accept cash. Then once at the register management were very dismissive about her concern. Ok, I went home and the Christmas boxes were too small :/ I decided to go back and exchange them for bags instead. As soon as I walk through the door, Elizabeth proceeds to direct my way that they don't do returns. Mind you, she was still in the middle of ringing up another customer. I told Elizabeth that I wasn't in a rush and would wait for it to be my turn. At this point, I am shocked at the lack of customer service that they have shown throughout the night. Again, she states they don't do returns so if I wanted I could exchange. That was my initial purpose however I didn't need as many bags as I did boxes and this store does not even offer store credit. I proceeded to grab food items and stop arguing with this lady. She then shouts from the register to the chip aisle that I would have to pay extra as food does not charge taxes. at this point, I'm just annoyed. I told her I would pay the difference. So end of story, I bought $30 worth of small bag chips, Christmas bags and a gum. There is SO much that can be said about the way this store treats its employees as well as its customers. BEWARE, if you are NOT Latino, you are not favoured or given preferences other than being a cashier there. Yes, the lines are long. NO, they will not send for backup. Yes, most people who work there speak Spanish. NO, they will not respect you if you work there and don't. Yes, there are regular customers who get to know the person behind the register. NO, you are not supposed to interact with them and make them feel welcome. Elizabeth is the most HATEFUL woman in there, Luz is a liar, and Jose is beyond RUDE. 11:30 AM - on Dec 4, 2023. The black kid working the register please give him a raise. I never met such an honest young man. I had a $20 bill and a $1 bill with some change in my hand. I bought some paper clips for $1 and change. I handed him the $20 and the 40 cent change I had and walked out thinking I handed him the $1. It took me 3 mins to realize this while starting my car engine. I walked back into the store and he literally had the register open waiting for me. VERY RESPECTFUL AND HONEST KID. Dropped of my car at Galpin Mazda and decided to drop in here to get a few things. 30.00 later! Lol. I like this location because it's cleaner, less busy than others and not full of homeless in the parking lot. They had everything I needed and the shelves were nicely stocked. The cashier working this morning was super friendly. I'd come up this location all the time if it was a bit closer to my house. It's your typical dollar tree - a little chaotic, but you can get some good stuff for only a dollar. I like to come to this location because the parking is easy, they don't have a lot of spaces, but because there are only a couple of businesses that use the lot, so I have always been able to find parking. Best finds at dollar tree- holiday decorations, raffle tickets, and calendars. This location tends to be well stocked and the are staff nice, but like all dollar trees there is product strewn everywhere, things aren't neatly on the display rack, but I either know exactly what I need and just run and grab it or I am just taking my time and walking up and down each aisle perusing - and don't mind the chaos. *I had a stroller with me and was able to easily move through the aisles. Notes: As with all discount type stores - always check the dates on any food items you purchase. Can opener was crap - don't buy it. I thought hey for a dollar let's try it, I needed an extra can opener for my emergency earthquake kit. I tried it, it sucked, but for a dollar it was worth trying. I went in yesterday to get ballons and only 1 older lady working, her name is Susan. She was all over the place. She gave me a happy face balloon half empty and had asked her to put more helium. Not much selection compared to other dollar tree locations. Disorganized. I was happy that they do have a public restroom because most places dont offer that, even to paying customers. However, it was probably the scariest most filthy ghetto restroom I had ever set foot in. Im talking brown stuff on the walls. There was a windex there but should have been something with bleach in it. They carry such items in the store and cleaning supplies are in the very aisle next to it so I have no idea why none of the people who manage or work here will do anything about it. Seriously it was so dirty and neglected I almost felt the toilet was cleaner for me peeing in it. I see previous pictures someone else posted last year which means it must have not been cleaned for an entire year from the way it looks now. Please do something, Dollar Tree management! Big and clean inside, well stocked, I come here for the generic Clariton. A box of 14 tabs for a buck, worth the trip especially during allergy season. to whom it may concern, Yesterday I walked in for first time at this location.. i was greated at the door by a a young man named anthony. He was very nice and polite.. altho he was at the register he still took time to great me.. that was the first time that has ever happened to me at a dollar tree store.. (anthony really knows how to make u feel welcomed). I recomend everyone to ask for anthony... i located the items I needed and when I was in line to pay. Anthony had a long line and when most people get fusterated with customers he kept his cool and was very nice to every customer.. that proved to me that his customers are not just numbers but people.. that goes a long way.. once I got to the register Anthony ' s first words were "thank u for your for your patience.. and I apologize for the long line.." I apriciate his apology and said no problem... I wish i lived close to this store so I can go back just to be attend by anthony.. Anthony also asked if I wanted to make a donation to a local food bank. I stumbled across this Dollar Tree when I stopped at the 7-11 in the small shopping center both are located. You can't see it from the street, so it is very easy to miss unless you know the street address (or use Yelp to navigate). It is fairly new, I believe less than 6 months since it opened. This one has an expanded food section with a nice selection of frozen products. Not all Dollar Trees offer them, do it's nice to have the extra choices. It is very bright, clean and well organized. I like the different holiday offerings that change with the season. It's a nice place to shop. read more

Let's start from the beginning, parking is always horrible, if you can find a spot, it's still horrible because the spots are so small and reduced, also the parking structure entrance on roscoe is super small and will not fit two big or even normal sized cars without one of your struggling or hitting your tire on the way in. Secondly, the store is a MESS!!!!! Everything is everywhere, they always have people putting out stock and they don't seem to bother to even move the carts in which their putting stuff out on, and the aisles are narrow so....And also, the manager, Gary, incredibly rude. Yesterday he practically yelled at me while I was checking out because I didn't have change other than a $100 bill and told me to use my card, took me a second to find it and he was very noticeably irritated. He took forever to get to me by the way, and when he's actually at the cash register, he tends to have a big line going on. Also, when I got there, he was putting up some of the summer stuff and was actually doing a lot more talking on the phone than stocking the aisles. But I guess if you have no other dollar tree to go to, this will do. I'll probably never be back though. read more
