I've been used to discount stores as 99 cent stores in NY or the Dollar Trees of suburbia, but Ollie's certainly tops them all with space and inventory. This is no Goodwill / Salvation Army type of a store -- most everything is new. Their slogan of "good stuff cheap" couldn't be a more accurate way to describe the place. Since the inventory is under constant change, I'm finding that everything changes every few weeks. This is a really easy store to just randomly peruse in search of something heavily marked off. In addition the store is clean, the bathrooms are solid, and generally everything is easy to find. I personally love their office supplies section, as I'm always able to score pens, markers, notebooks, and other various things. I also love that they have massively large rugs and have an incredible selection of toys, books, and other gift worthy inclusions. Service has always been pretty good with me. I rarely see large crowds in here and even if there is a small line, it's dealt with very quickly. I am already looking forward to my next visit back.

Don't let the handwritten…read morelabels fool you, Ollies selection is unmatched with new and unused patio furniture, books, cards, craft supplies, laminate flooring, home restoration items, rugs, kitchen appliances, blankets, towels, food, cosmetics and more. I learned the hard way that not everything is a bargain, and I'm personally still learning what is what, but it's easier to go right than go wrong here. I was personally surprised to find name brand household items and other assorted items like toasters and coffee makers for affordable prices so if you plan to visit, my advice is- compare pricing. Don't go for the beach towels, but do stock up on blankets. Happy hunting!

Some people are pretty serious about grabbing what they can but it's all good. The staff is really friendly and quick to checkout. My son accidentally got the wrong size phone case and the staff let us come back in and look for another one to exchange. No questions. No problem. Cool little spot for quick deals!! If you can't be here on Friday, just get here before Tuesday to increase your chances of finding deals. Also, wear closed toe shoes for the "new table rampages" that happen every hour on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Plus they do raffles on all three days as well.

This was not one of the better 99 cent only stores, and while Bae loves these stores in general, she said that this one left her with a few bad tastes in her mouth so to speak, but having said that I'm sure we'll be back again, I have a feeling about it. I've been to the original Fallas on Figueroa in Los Angeles, and it's cool that a discount store in DTLA became a national chain to such a successful degree. They're still cheap and still full of cute clothes aimed at the Latin market. Everyone here speaks Spanish and it's a cool clothing store to check out.
