I've been used to discount stores as 99 cent stores in NY or the Dollar Trees of suburbia, but Ollie's certainly tops them all with space and inventory. This is no Goodwill / Salvation Army type of a store -- most everything is new. Their slogan of "good stuff cheap" couldn't be a more accurate way to describe the place. Since the inventory is under constant change, I'm finding that everything changes every few weeks. This is a really easy store to just randomly peruse in search of something heavily marked off. In addition the store is clean, the bathrooms are solid, and generally everything is easy to find. I personally love their office supplies section, as I'm always able to score pens, markers, notebooks, and other various things. I also love that they have massively large rugs and have an incredible selection of toys, books, and other gift worthy inclusions. Service has always been pretty good with me. I rarely see large crowds in here and even if there is a small line, it's dealt with very quickly. I am already looking forward to my next visit back.

I learned the hard way that not everything is a bargain, and I'm personally still learning what is what, but it's easier to go right than go wrong here. I was personally surprised to find name brand household items and other assorted items like toasters and coffee makers for affordable prices so if you plan to visit, my advice is- compare pricing. Usually because she wants to go and visit the Paleteria that is in the same Plaza that she absolutely loves - Michoacana Natural - which is understandable. It's amazing. Anyway it's a Dollar Tree she enjoys, and one that she usually gets a whole bunch of stuff from and finds great stuff for the cats as well as ourselves. My son accidentally got the wrong size phone case and the staff let us come back in and look for another one to exchange. No questions. No problem. Cool little spot for quick deals!! If you can't be here on Friday, just get here before Tuesday to increase your chances of finding deals. I've been to the original Fallas on Figueroa in Los Angeles, and it's cool that a discount store in DTLA became a national chain to such a successful degree. They're still cheap and still full of cute clothes aimed at the Latin market. Everyone here speaks Spanish and it's a cool clothing store to check out.
