The place is much larger than I first thought and the prices are decent! I went in for a browse and left with a bed frame, yummy snacks and some household things! I was planning on making the trip again (a bit far from home) but then saw they have different locations as well! I'm looking forward to going back there again, to this location and others. I also signed up for their membership card which is free and comes with discounts, offers and an email newsletter.

They sell all types of products; those are seasonal products, apparel, pet supplies, household goods, books, and etc. These items were overstock items from other retailers; these retailers are Walmart, Target, and Costco, to name a few. I'm a huge fan of these types of stores. I love a good sale, discounts, and bargain hunting. I'd have to say, this store reminded me alot of Ocean State Job Lot. As per Dan R.'s review, I do agree that it's also similar to Christmas Tree Shops and Big Lots. It's located in a plaza with Dollar Tree, Subway, and more. The store was pretty organized on my last visit. There was a huge book section, my favorite area in the store! They also had so many toys, Christmas decor, and some snacks. We were greeted at the door and the cashier was friendly. I signed up for the Ollie's Army for discounts and coupons; I got a 15% off coupon for my next visit by doing so. Overall, a fun place to shop and just like their motto, "Get Good Stuff Cheap!"

The competition gets quite heated for these prizes ! Some dollar stores are in a messy unkempt state, but this one is pretty neat and organized. The staff is pretty OK too.

We found some stools on clearance but none were actually available including online. We asked a worker to verify and they were nice enough to look into their store inventory to see they were in fact out. It happened with a few items we looked at, nothing was actually available anymore. That being said maybe if you're they when they open you'll have a chance at some clearance items. They have a lot of cute affordable decor but the furniture itself seems its cousins with IKEA. (Not great quality in case you don't get the reference) I'd come back for decor but nothing else. This is a sister store to TJMax so you'll see some duplicates and be sure to check the tags to see what's made for that store and what's actual overstock from somewhere else.

On that Sunday, you could get 20% off your entire purchase. Not too shabby! I don't normally shop at Big Lots, but a friend told us about the sale, so we decided to check it out. We mainly looked at the furniture, sofas, and table/chairs. Big Lots is like a lot of other bargain stores and has a few great finds there. It had been a while since we had last been here and when we entered the store we were surprised to see how much they had in stock. The only issue that we have when we come to this particular location is that the checkout aisle are horrendous. Quite often we have to wait forever to check out which can be a pain. In the end not a bad spot to shop and Big Lots usually has some pretty good deals!

They also do personalized candles, which I find are always a hit for $5 extra. You just scan a QR code and upload a picture(s) from your phone and the shoppe worker does the rest! The staff here is very helpful and go out of their way to help you in whatever way you need. I bought 4 candles and had them all personalized. The label machine was just a tad off and the person who helped me spent the time to make 3 of the same labels, until they were just right! The candles look perfect because of the extra time she spent vs. using the first labels with small lines on the side. Great customer service! The store is clean and easy to browse. The selection isn't fantastic ... it's what you'd find in your average mall Yankee candle. I try not to light too many of these because they are made with Parafin wax, which is one of the least clean-burning waxes. However, once a year I get them as gifts because people like the scents and the personalized photo labels make a great impression. The staff are wonderful here ... from the manager to the workers ... and would make me come back because you feel welcome and catered to. It's worth a trip to Sturbridge if you happen to be on the Mass Pike or 84 passing by. There are plenty of nice restaurants in this town as well.
