But I don't even think another store would necessarily have the model in-stock that we ultimately decided on. So far, the furniture has held up nice, almost 3 months later. They charged me $13 for delivery and could not even get it on the truck Until January 6. When I spoke to the customer service rep, they were unfazed by it all and couldn't really give me any answers. I just received notification today that the delivery will not be made until the sixth through the 15th. I will not be shopping at Williams in Sonoma ever again. The customer service stinks.

There were some brand new, never used, 30" bathroom vanities with marble tops, two larger vanity tops only - also marble, a couple of medicine cabinets, lots of doors both inside and out, attic vents for the exterior, tiles, so many chairs from waiting room to living room. Beds, electric stoves, carpet squares, office chairs, lots of lovely curio cabinets, desks, some artwork, mirrors, and plenty of lamps, some books, and a little bit of kitchen ware. Remember to look up! There are a lot of ceiling lights suspended from pipes running overhead. The prices here are excellent. I'm a big advocate of reduce, reuse, recycle and this is a good location to find household items, some used, some new and your purchase supports the Habitat for Humanity mission. Win-win!

The store near me is usually well-organized (at least by TJ Maxx standards!), and the staff are friendly and helpful when I need them. I especially like browsing the home goods section, it's a goldmine for candles, throw pillows, and quirky little decor items. I will say, you have to be in the mood to dig a bit. It's not a place where everything's laid out perfectly, but that's part of the charm. I've found some of my favorite outfits and gifts there, all without breaking the bank. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I want to shop but don't want to spend a fortune.

My friend was visiting me, so I thought I would take her here because it looked like a beautiful small business. When we entered the shop the two older white ladies gave us dirty looks and I could tell we weren't welcomed. As my friend and I were looking around and enjoying the merchandise, I could hear the two worker ladies gossiping about watching us because they didn't want us to steal. Another group of white folk came in and they paid no attention to them at all. Already, this made me upset as they thought I couldn't hear them gossip. I am not a confrontational person, so I just ignored it and proceeded to shop. Then one of the ladies asked me to put the item I was holding on the counter. My friend asked to look at the rings, then after she made her decisions, I proceeded to check out after her. The lady rung up my items (which I had gotten a variety of small kitchen items) and told me after I tapped my card, "Oh good, your card went through." It made me feel so degraded to be treated that way by someone. I wanted to return my items then and there, but I believe that would prove the point that she believed I wouldn't be able to afford the merchandise. It is extremely disappointing to experience this and I really hope that they do better here. If you want your small business to thrive, please treat everyone with respect. Also, respectfully, save enough money buy security cameras instead of micromanaging a people of color that comes inside your store.
