They make it easy to pickup an online order curbside or in store. In your confirmation email you just check in and a notification is sent to a point person at the store. I think I even heard a doorbell ring. With this method you don't need to show ID. Of course I had to do a quick browse, and the prices are very reasonable. The store appears to be well stocked too. I didn't make it past the tops because they were about to close, but I'll definitely return to find some workout gear. After checkout, we noticed our receipt listed 14 items, although we had purchased 13. We went back while still outside the store. Angela, the cashier, immediately acknowledged that she had mistakenly counted four of one item instead of the three we actually bought. She offered to let us choose another item. We initially declined because we had finished shopping and didn't want anything else. Angela called over Karin, the manager, to help resolve the issue. Karin arrived with what we felt was a hostile attitude. She refused to correct the acknowledged checkout error, cited the all-sales-final policy, blamed us for not double-checking the count before leaving the register, and pointed to a small sign near the floor. When we later said we'd just go ahead and accept Angela's offer and choose an item, Karin replied, "Yeah, that won't be happening. Do that and we'll call the police for theft." Rather than help resolve a simple mistake, Karin's response felt intimidating and dismissive, especially in front of other employees and customers. As we left, she shooed us out and condescendingly told us to "have a better day." We stayed calm and only wanted a fair resolution. The money wasn't the point; we were charged for an item we didn't receive. It wasn't a "change of mind return". We've noticed possible overcharges on previous visits, which makes this experience even more concerning.

When I attempted to calmly explain my concern, she repeatedly interrupted me, stated that she did not have time to talk to me, and told me to leave. She further stated that those products were not being sold from inside the package and that I should simply take my children and leave. She then threatened to call the police, despite the fact that I was calm, respectful, and merely raising what I believed was a legitimate concern regarding child access to adult products. I left because I was with my children and did not want the situation to escalate. However, I was shocked by the manager's behavior. No customer should be treated with such disrespect for politely expressing a concern. What makes this even more troubling is that this was not the first time I had witnessed this particular manager behaving aggressively toward customers. While many employees at this location have been courteous and professional, I previously observed this manager engaged in a heated confrontation with another customer and speaking in an extremely hostile manner. My concern remains the same: adult products should not be displayed in a way that makes them easily accessible to young children in a family-oriented retail environment. Whether customers agree or disagree with that concern, they should be able to express it without being threatened, dismissed, or ordered out of the store. This experience left me disappointed and concerned, not only about the store's product placement decisions but also about the professionalism and conduct of its management. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when raising concerns involving the welfare of children. This version is stronger because it sticks to observable facts, clearly describes the manager's conduct, and keeps the focus on the issues that other customers and corporate management are most likely to take seriously. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future.
