They definitely need to advertise more because they had the nicest stuff and their Halloween decorations are ridiculously low cost. At Home is the perfect home decor store. They have a wide selection of home goods, including kitchenware, bath goods, frames, pillows, rugs, seating, mirrors , etc. This store is large. It doesn't seem as big as the Charleston location though. It is bright, clean, and organized. The layout of the store is good. Seasonal items are located on the front aisles. Christmas items were already out! The aisles are close which makes the store feel more cluttered. The prices are reasonable. Masks are required. read more

The manager at this store tonight was nothing more than a hourly associate on a power trip. The female who was identified as the "manager" stood at the register on her phone with about 7 customers in line. Our items didn't ring up correctly and when shown the price on the tag and sign she refused to honor it. She said she didn't have the ability to change prices in the system. I don't care to give my money to support - poor customer service, poor merchandising and terrible attitudes. There are plenty of places to shop and businesses need to be aware who they have representing their brand. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and this store needs to understand that. Stopping by At Home to see what goodies they have for the summer and to complete some upgrades to my home. If you've never been here, do yourself a favor and stop in, but be prepared to be "wowed!" If there's something in particular you are looking for nine times out of ten they have it here. If you go to the back left corner of the store you will find furniture, mattresses and rugs all at a great price. Oh yes if you're considering changing up the look of a room in your house At Homes got you covered; simply change the picture on the wall, switch out the centerpiece on the table, add an area rug, a throw blanket (folded) and some accent pillows. Your room transformation is easy because At Home has such a wide selection of accent pillows, accessories, wall decor and their selections of paintings is phenomenal! Their prices are middle of the road but it's quality stuff. As you peruse the aisles remember to look out for the red Clearance sale and signs because there's hidden gems within. At Home ages a bit of everything for the home. Unless you know what you are shopping for expect to spend a good hour or more if you want to see everything. They carry a very large inventory of wall hangings. They also have some furniture-outside and accessory pieces such as small tables, shelving, etc. If looking for a gift for someone's home you should be able to find it here. They have a nice section of seasonal items and a section of their everyday pieces. Additional areas where you have plenty to choose from is for the kitchen, bedroom ( comforters, sheets, pillows, etc), bathroom, rugs, outdoor, gardening...too many to mention. You should come see it for yourself. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars was it wasn't easy to get someone to assist you. If you were in the back of the store you had to trek to the front to ask for assistance. Have fun. read more

This store has everything to create an amazing living space, both for the outside and the inside of your home. The lines are short, and store is clean. However there is NEVER adequate staff to assist you, and they always make it clear that they have other things to do. There are three people to service a HUGE store. You have to hunt them down like rabbits in a briar patch. The name has been changed from Garden Ridge and the store is more streamlined. Most of the changes have been for the better, but the bathrooms are disgusting looking! It looks like a NYC Subway Toilet. There is a lot of overpricing going on, and in my humble opinion this store is much worse since it is no longer called Garden Ridge. read more

I vicariously love this place through others. Went shopping as part of a threesome and we came back loaded with deals. They have plenty of excellent holiday items but some of the furniture and other items make no sense to me. I can't say that quality is really a major element. Cheaply made throwaway items that might last a year or two. I did take advantage of some left over dregs from previous seasons but i can't recommend the stuff. read more

What more could you ask for from a home goods store? This place has everything you need to make your HGTV dreams come true. The building is MASSIVE, we're talking the size of Lowes filled with Decor. There's a massive seasonal section when you enter. Furniture is in the back and there are loads of options. I was especially impressed with the basket section. Literally hundreds ....maybe thousands of baskets to choose from. The building is well organized with clear easy to find sections. Prices were reasonable too. I finally stopped into the store that I didn't know was there. It reminds me of the old Garden Ridge. At Home has LOTS of stuff. You can walk through the store and take in everything they have to offer. I was surprised there were not many customers in the store but they have things you might be looking for but didn't know where to buy. They have garden accessories, home decor and accessories galore. You have to visit to take it all in. I didn't purchase anything on this visit but I enjoyed perusing the isles and taking it all in. The store is huge but the majority of it was rows and rows of outdoor seat cushions, pillows or poor quality imported furniture that was way overpriced for the low quality. They had many other decor items too, but I just felt the store was very messy and disorganized in those other areas. I hadn't been into this store for years. The last time I visited, it was still Garden Ridge. I had completely forgotten how grand of a store it was. It's huge! In fact, I found it a little overwhelming. This place has just about everything you could imagine for your home. Furniture, rugs, decor, frames, mirrors, wall art, throw pillows, holiday decorations, and more. I'll definitely keep them in mind for the next room makeover we do. I found the staff to be more concerned with their tasks than customer service. I was never greeted or spoken to until I got to the register. I think more staff on hand would help to make shoppers feel more welcome, and would help to keep the shelves and displays better stocked, as many were depleted and barren. I found the setup for the checkout line odd, confusing, and impersonal. Though I was mesmerized by the great wall-o-candy. I had to make a second visit to return one of the items I purchased. The return process was very easy and I was quickly in and out with no trouble at all. While prices are reasonable, you will probably overspend your budget because there is so much. I was able to snag a few decorative trays and some paperweights. We visited here for our Christmas decor and there was a wide selection. If you're crafty, prepare to spend some time here because you'll be piecing a lot of great items together since there's so much to choose from. Overall the store is nice. The only downfall was the check out. There were only 3 lanes open- meanwhile several workers on the floor. Thank goodness for patience because we waited for a long time. They've got a little but of everything. If you're looking for home items, they're the place to go. A lot little eclectic items that you wouldn't find most places. In the past month, I've been like 3x, each time I walk out with more than I wanted. Last nights visit, however, kept me in the store longer than expected. All I wanted to do was an exchange, but note that's extremely difficult without a receipt. I didn't want NY money back just the normal, I'll give you a gift card. Finally, after their computer taking 10 min to process, I was able to get out of there with what I wanted. They do warn you, keep receipt and payment method in case of a return. I have to start by saying that I hated having to part with Garden Ridge. The prices for their items were very reasonable, and it was a bonus that they sold scrubs. The first time I visited this store, I thought the prices were ridiculous. It was the exact same inventory that Garden Ridge had, but it was marked up to higher price. However, they have done significant mark downs since this time. The negative is that the store is very disorganized. Some of the items are still overpriced, especially the furniture. I do enjoy the fact that they have a lot of wall decor to choose from. They also have frequent sales in which items have been marked down. The hard part is finding what those items are. My advice is that if you are looking for a deal, plan to spend a lot of time going through the merchandise. read more

Had the worst shopping experience of my life yesterday March 8th at the at home store in Concord North Carolina. I was purchasing a patio set which had $499 marked on the item. But when I arrived at the register the clerk told me the price was $ 599 and that was what I would have to pay. I let her know that the customer always paid the price that was marked on the item and that she couldn't change it at the register but she didn't want to hear that. After a lot of animosity and negative remarks, she called her manager over who also had an attitude but finally agreed to let me pay the price that was marked on the box. At this time all the other clerks were looking over at me and the atmosphere was just so hostile that I will never go into that store again. I will advise all my friends that if they have to purchase anything from "at home", to please just do it online or better yet look elsewhere because the customer service and the professionalism(even from management) is seriously lacking. read more

This store is MASSIVE, but I didn't see any of the "great deals" other commenters mentioned. And customer service BLOWS!!! There was only one cashier and she took so freakin' long ringing up the three customers ahead of me that I finally had to sit down on the bagging station of the unmanned register next to her. I can't say anything about the customer service except that during my 45 minute visit I wasn't greeted or spoken to once. The line was outrageous with very few registers open. My main concern was the quality of the product. It is HORRIBLE! I lost count of how many damaged items were on display. I also picked up an item ($30 serving tray) and it literally fell apart just by me picking it up to look at it. There was a point where I was confused and though one whole side of the store was for defected items which it wasn't. I am literally in awe of how many things I saw that were broken. With that in mind I will NEVER purchase anything from this store because I know I will be buying overpriced junk. Please people, take your hard earned money to a better quality store such as Kirkland's. Kirkland's is amazing especially compared to this store. I mention Kirkland's because it was a store I visited in the same day. Now their quality is outstanding. I never worry about my purchase from there. Though a phone number to your establishment is proved you do not allow the consumer to speak a live merchant. The voice response unit takes the consumer in circles. It is very frustrating should the person calling have a quick question, and the answer may save them valuable time and effort. They have a huge selection of scrubs (super cheap) which I find odd but I am sure that's nice for those who need scrubs. They have lots of clearance at 50-75% off, so prices are great, but quality is crap on a lot of items. Due to crappy quality, lack of staff (I saw 2 people in the entire store), and the awful return policy (they won't do anything at all w/out a receipt) I give it 2 stars. read more

Very poor customer service. Walked up to the only register open and was not acknowledged. The cashier talked on his wallow talkie to another employee who asked him to run a number. Then he had to call a manager to get approval for one of my items, a $1.50 coke that had been priced down to $0.75. No one answered the first few times. Then a manager sounded annoyed and said she'd be on her way up. After waiting another few minutes, he still hadn't said one word to me. No "hello" or "sorry for the wait". I just left the store and my items there as I couldn't justify giving them my business after such poor customer service. read more

You get an automated answering system that says "press 3 for product inquiries," but when you press 3 it says something to the effect "to find out what's on our shelves, you must come to the store."
