Extremely overwhelming with all the clutter. Pretty dirty. Prices pretty high. Books had no semblance of order. I think they would do better with a bit lower prices that are easy to read too. Some prices were in code, others ineligible done in marker. No air conditioning and it was rather warm in there. I like to bargain hunt but this was crazy. Dump some merchandise with a big sale, then clean and organize. read more

I live close but never got around to going there until today. When I walked in an older lady was up front in a chair talking on the phone , I assumed that was Wanda. Sweet gray kitty came over and said howdy. And no, I dont care if that was Wanda and she was on the phone, its her store, she can do what she wants too. It still looks exactly like a grocery store inside. I think they just moved in without changing anything. The store is packed full but even so a sign out front says they need donations and there were buggies upon buggies of stuff waiting to be out out sitting in the aisles. I dont know where they get stuff from but they have a ton of it! For me the whole store was a bit darker than I would prefer. It is though fairly well organized with more Christmas items than I have ever seen in a store anywhere! I didnt bend down to look at stuff on the bottom shelves, too dark. The far right and far left aisles were the darkest ones. I see an old review that states it is cash only, that is outdated info. I watched her take a credit card today. All in all a nice little store just needs some updating. read more

Classic old school bric brac thrift store set up in an untouched A&P Supermarket from back in the day. They even left the counter, shelves, freezers, in tact filled with goodies. Since many of the chain thrifts have super organized and color coded their merchandise we have become spoiled shoppers! Wanda's is straight old school and I love it! They have this and that and all kinds of what nots. I spend hours in there. The lady has always been friendly and amazing to me and Monica the cat omg! What a gem she is as well. Here are some tips to help with shopping at Wanda's: -There is a restroom just ask -IT IS LOTS OF STUFF!!! -Short hours closes at 3:00 -Closed on Weekends but open one Saturday per month. I forget which Saturday call and ask. -An amazing basement full of furniture and large items. Really dark and quiet down there so take a friend. -Prices are high on some things. Ask about negotiating on some things. She may work with you. -So much old back in the day stuff! Love it. -Bring young people in there to show and teach them about the nostalgia of the old A&P and the history of an old supermarket chain. -Have fun while shopping in there. This place has tons of glassware, coffee mugs, Knick-knacks and cookbooks. There are old Christmas and Lawrence Welk-type records galore. You might find a DVD or CD you like or a classic book. There are some clothes and shoes and handbags. But overall this place was a haven for junk, dust and castoffs that were cast off for a reason. I've felt like I had to sneeze since I left the place. Wanda herself wasn't all that kind either as I heard her talk on the phone and to guests. The highlight of the day was Monica the shop cat, who was sweet and friendly! Don't expect a bathroom here. Don't expect this to be like a Goodwill or anything the quality of the lost luggage store down in Scottsboro, Alabama. read more

Wanda's is a fun place to explore and check out some vintage items of days gone gone by. They have a lot of cool items categorically arranged on grocery store shelves. A lot of the items are dirty and will need to be washed really good. They offer some furniture at the front of the store. They also have store cats that wander the store and give an occasional feline greeting to shoppers. read more

If you like bric-a-brac and chatchkies, dishes, glasses, and cups this is the place for you. There's a lot of clothes and shoes but they need a better organized system...very difficult to look through without making another mess. Plus they need to change half the lightbulbs in the store, very dark in some aisles. It has potential if it could just be cleaned up. This is one of my favorite thrift stores! There is soooo much to look at. I always find something here. The place itself is super cool because it's an old grocery store. Plus there's a super sweet store cat. Only thing is I wish some of the art was in a more accessible spot. Be sure to check out the basement downstairs! read more

Interesting place! I didn't see the basement part of the store that someone mentioned, but there was plenty to see upstairs. Wanda's is a place where you could spend hours, if you have the patience to look through all the miscellaneous items on display. It's not a place I would go to if looking for clothes, but they have more dishes and nick-knacks than I've ever seen. They also have a lot of good books. Definitely worth checking out!! read more

Wanda's is in what used to be an old supermarket. (Imagine an old Piggly Wiggly from about 1970 or so that has been stripped of all the foods and had its shelves stocked instead with all kinds of bric-a-brac. ) I really like this thrift. It's honest. You get aisles and aisles of stuff and then a basement full of lots of other stuff. The lighting isn't so great and it's kinda smelly and I don't think there are any restrooms or fitting rooms, but it's very much exactly what it is. (It reminds me of what most thrift stores used to be like many years ago.) The only thing I wish they'd do here is put on some music! It's soooo quiet! Because there's so much stuff, you'll need quite a bit of time to get through this thrift. And bring cash because Wanda doesn't take cards. (She may be able to take a check though.) This thrift is a bit off the path, but it's a lot of fun and well worth a visit. read more

Wandas is fabulous place to explore and find unique things. while I know the items that are sold there are not donated, I believe some of the prices are too high. I went searching for colored dishes to break up to make imto mosaic tiles. The dishes sold for $1 - $3. I could get the same kind of dishes at Goodwill or Salvation Army for no more than $1 read more

I love the thrift shop and hunt for antiques so i've been to many thrift shops and this place is one of the best! I spent hours in there and if I had more money I would have bought tons! an earlier review states that they do not take credit cards, but they do now so that is a plus! Wandas GoodStuff Store is absolutely the best thrift store around. She has a variety of interesting "treasure" and endless antiques and vintage goods. You will not be disappointed. Staff are friendly and knowledgable about items sold in store. You can always find a bargain and she is fair with her prices. She accepts cash or major credit card/debit cards. There is also Jellies, jams, salsa and Wine available to purchase from a local Vineyard. You need it, Wanda more than likely has it in her store. read more
