Super cute place, lots of VERY OLD VINTAGE finds in this place. I definitely recommend if you are a vintage seeker as I am. I love a great collectible. Also they have cowboy boots for days! WOMENS and men's, and I believe I might have seen a few kids pair as well. Old games, lamps and even furniture. The rats nest was a rare find for me and I loved it!

Coolest Thrift Store in Charlotte, ever! Am I in Portland??? You had me at Pong! Yes a real live functioning Pong (by Atari of course) hooked up to this Rad TV when you walk in. Of course I played it! Killer selection of leather jackets, real vintage Wrangler shirts and pretty much if you can dream it, they have it. Now for some items from down memory lane : Orange Krate Schwinn bike, Sony Watchman(the one with the TV), a Crazy Eddie Shirt (cause his prices are insane!!!), Battlestar Galactica Sheets (why don't they come in Queen size? Waanh!) and the Holy Grail : a Jesse Jackson for President ringer T (yours for a cool $400). The merch doesn't get any cooler. My closet in college was a cross section of this place. Friendly owner with a good sense of humor who has a good eye for what people are looking for! Rat's Nest is kind of tucked away by the railroad track, up the block and around the corner from Sabor and Cabo. Now you have no excuse but to go there!

It is not the biggest (limited free parking) but it does have a lot of fun and interesting things to look at!

Not a lot of options, over priced. You could find better quality clothes and goodwill for a quarter of the price

Cool little store. I found a couple cute vintage dresses but the size options were limited. Worth a visit if you have some free time.

They stand by all their products and I have had a couple of pairs of vintage cowboy boots that I have bought there taken back for a new heel or a total resole.

If it hadn't been for Yelp, we likely wouldn't have found it and I'm so glad we did. Stash Pad is a little off the beaten path but not by much. Once you walk through the doors it's like a blast from the past. While we were looking for a few specific items, we were also just browsing around looking for cool finds. Every few seconds you could hear a "whoaaaa" or a "wow" or a "hey, come look at this!" from a member in our group. They had a good assortment of vintage clothing, everything from dresses to hats and menswear. They also had a good amount of costume attire, including wigs. We were specifically looking for wigs to wear to a murder mystery party later that night and we all found exactly what we were looking for. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. If you live in the area and you're looking for unique items, a piece to complete your epic costume or simply perusing around for fun, definitely add Stash Pad to your list of shops to check out. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and they even had a little pop-up shop out front. So much character, we loved it!

I got a great 80s mullet style wig there to finish of this year's Halloween costume because they posted it. The wigs are new but everything else is pretty much vintage. I was working on putting various patches on a jean jacket and found a great Cleopatra one that now lives on that very jacket. I also saw that they will begin doing a 'free sunday' where all goods they put outside are free for the taking, so if you need something or want something, go check them out. There is lots of other shopping near by like CLTCH (jewelry and accessories) and Borris and Natasha (new clothes and accessories).

There was also tarot card reading and henna application. I think there was something else, as well, that I can't remember. My friend got her hand henna'd. Cute experience, just wish they had more!
