I usually keep all of my receipts but unfortunately in my situation I had lost several of my receipts for several different separate purchases and had no way out of it but to return for store credit. I now found myself in a situation of that nightmare customer that would make the transaction that more complicated for the associate behind the register. JB took care of my returns and he was patient, kind, and professional at all times and he made my returns run smoothly and quickly. I don't ever leave reviews but I felt that I needed to give this young man validation for his amazing costumer service. The store location was on Elston Plaza. Even though the Corporate policy is "Non-receipted returns, accompanied by a photo ID (driver's license, state issued non-driver ID, passport, or military ID) and returns after 60 days will receive a merchandise credit for the lowest selling price." Apparently this store doesn't believe in following company policy and make their own rules. They insist that a receipt or loyalty number to look up the receipt is required. They will not return without a receipt and issue store merchandise. This is the only store that I had the issue with on 3 different occasions. Cashiers always have horrible attitude as if you are bothering them.

I went back and got more a few days later. They also had these little small snack size bags of a pretzel snack that had a barbecue mustard flavor to it and those were so good. They're only $.25 a bag. I went back and got more of those as well but they don't last long once the items are cleared out they're gone. It's a clearance store.

You can find pretty much anything here. Small packaged food items, drinks, toiletries, kitchen supplies, packs of socks or underwear, cleaning supplies, phone cards, cigarettes (for you smokers)... I could go in and on. I still have a really nice Rubbermaid colander and a plastic mixing bowl with handle I bought here in 2002. I use both frequently. I bought a granny cart around the same time here to use as a laundry cart, still have it. My favorite pair of sunglasses were purchased here, sadly broken during an especially drunken night out circa 2004. One of my favorite things to buy here was Dr. Sheffield's baking soda toothpaste (before Sheffield rebranded as a high-end offering, you used to be able to get a tube here for ONE DOLLAR. I'd buy like 10 and they would last months. I'd also get bleach, parchment paper and stuff like that. It's a fairly busy store because the neighborhood locals all know and shop here. I still stop in when I'm in the area to get deals on certain items.

Costco's selection and value is really unmatched. As a toddler parent, the membership is worth it alone just for the clothes, diapers/wipes and the ability to buy in bulk. They also have so many toddler friendly snacks (yogi bites, melties, applesauce, and fruit snacks) that we are frequently purchasing on rotation. Plus, snacks for us -- I swear we end up trying at least one new treat every visit! We also love buying rib eyes, shabu shabu steak, and chicken thighs from here in bulk because the price is so good! The only reason I'm knocking a star is because on our recent visits, there has been no rotisserie chicken, which is one of our favorites to buy at Costco. I think they have been renovating that portion of the store, so hopefully that will be finished soon (if not is already).
