This is a huge store. You can get stuff here for great prices when you need something cheap and easy. I come here for some home needs and it's a good deal. You can also do arts and crafts with things that you can paint and they also have paint and paint brushes there. If you want a quick snack, there is lots of candy and cookies. There's also a free parking lot that's open and has plenty of space. This is next to so many stores so if you can't find something here, you can find it in other stores nearby. read more

Do NOT purchase gift cards from Dollar Tree! My son paid cash for an Apple gift card, but when we tried to redeem it, the balance was $0. When I called the store, they said I needed the receipt with a code -- which isn't true. They were rude, unhelpful, and even hung up on me. This is the second bad experience I've had at this location, and the staff and management clearly do not care. Even Apple support advised not to buy their gift cards from Dollar Tree, which says a lot. Please learn from our mistake -- avoid the hassle and only buy Apple gift cards directly from Apple or authorized retailers. read more

Dollar Tree is finally back and I am so happy. It has been closed for several months while they remodel the location as the US Bank closed. I like this location because there is plenty of free parking. I also like this location because they have a Joann's Ross, petsmart, Sally's, and Burlington Coat Factory. The grand opening is nice, and very spacious compared to the last store. The whole store has gotten a face lift. The prices are of course the new $1.25 per item. This location now has a bigger balloon section in addition to a bigger section for crafts. They even have more more floral items for crafting and lots of vases. I have been a fan of Dollar Tree for over a decade now and I'm so happy that this one is now reopened. read more

I do a lot of crafts so Dollar Tree was a great option for supplies. This location in particular had some of the best selections compared to other dollar stores in the área. Not much to say except this this store has everything. And for $1! I came here in search of party supplies. You can find all kinds of event essentials for much more cheaply than going to a party supply store. I got 2 rolls of tape and 2 packs of 25-count wristbands for you guessed it... $1 each! They also have a helium balloon section with balloons of all sizes, colors and weights, too. One star off for having really long checkout lines at times. But, still a much better alternative to paying out the wazoo at Party City! read more

I totally ignored this place for over a year. I never even really noticed the Dollar Tree there in the strip mall with the Strack and Van Til - I just never thought about it. JoAnn, Petsmart, Strack - all of those places totally dominate the strip mall and it seems like nothing else is there. But let me tell you, folks - this Dollar Tree is amazing. Yep, everything is $1. Not like those lame "dollar" stores where everything is $1+. Dollar Tree knows what's up and it's good merchandise at a great price. I'm a teacher and they have a GREAT teacher section. Ever want those word cards so you can post useful vocabulary around your room? Get a 30 pack for $1. Need to-do lists and other awesomely fun little note pads? $1! I also got these cute little baskets (thanks to my co-worker) to put markers in for each group of tables - great organization! All for $1! There's also a ton of awesome seasonal stuff here - who doesn't like decorating for the holidays, especially if it's cheap? Right now they have a lot of cute Halloween stuff to decorate your house and your yard. I'm sure they'll have Christmas lights and the like, which is awesome, since everything will be $1. Get yourself in here - seriously. I can't believe I've totally ignored this store for so long. They have a ton of knick-knack stuff that you know you want but just don't want to pay $5 for at Target. On the impossible hunt for wooden clothespins, we stopped here after a grocery visit next door. This Dollar Tree is a bargain hunter's dream!! They have loads of seasonal stuff lining the walls that I wanted to pounce on like tiki themed, party tablecloths, napkins, glasses, etc. So awesome!! Forget a party store, go here instead!! After much searching, I found the long awaited clothespins for my onesies and bibs baby shower decoration. I also found some extra baby bottles for future diaper cakes too. Score!! They're the perfect, size, shape, and color while being BPA-free too. I nabbed some bibs to decorate as well. This Dollar Tree is the dollar store of my dreams. Everything is awesome, bright, and fairly clean. They don't accept Mastercard, but every other credit/debit company, so you've been warned. The Elston Location is so unprofessional and they seem to hate their jobs. I Did not want to "touch" the keypad to get my receipt, and the cashier would not give me my receipt. During this perilous pandemic, it's hard enough to go to the store, now I have to push a dirty button to get a receipt? Ridiculous. The manager told me the cashier has just as much a right not to touch it as I do. So if she's a cashier, part of her job is to give a receipt. Period. Terrible customer service. read more

This place was a big surprise. LITERALLY EVERYTHING IS A DOLLAR. The cold and frozen food section for $1 scares me a little, but other than that they have a lot of great stuff that you didn't even know you needed for only $1. The have wrapping paper and cards. I came here for the first time the other day and let me tell you everything is a dollar. The store is neat and well put together. I needed to get some serving platters for a party I was throwing. I went to party city and the plastic platters were five bucks a pop. My friend Megan told me to check out the dollar store and what a good call that was. Same things for more than half off. big parking lot (shared with other strip mall stores) - nice selection of single dollar priced items. For the most part, the store is kept up - unlike other dollar stores that can be a big sloppy cluttered mess. I can actually move around and not be on the verge of knocking someone over. My go to items are usually party/gift bag seasonal type of items which can be kind of pricey at other stores. Or when we are putting together gift baskets for seniors, we also go to Dollar Tree for things like puzzle books, or shampoo or other toiletries. With the exception of checking out, my interaction with staff have been pretty limited, so with that in mind, they've all been pretty nice. Not much more I can say....it's a Dollar store. ;-) read more

this place is the bomb. Who doesn't like paying $1 for skeleton mugs at Halloween or buying poison glue Christmas cards. I like stopping in here when I'm running other errands, because it's not really a place to go on it's own. It's clean and usually pretty calm inside. I would check it out if you're in the strip mall for whatever else. It's especially good for teachers and other people who work with kids and might want to set up a treasure chest or something. read more

I have not been to a Dollar Tree in a little over a year and I went out of my way to go to this store and did Alot of walking as I am on public transportation. Was very disappointed with the lack of Christmas Decorations. I had to place an order with Target for the ornaments I wanted. This is by far my favorite dollar store. Everything and I mean everything is $1. I have gone to other stores that claim to be dollar stores (like Family Dollar) where things sold for $5+. There's no gimmick about it. I'm not sure how it's done but they actually carry some brand name items in the store! Simply amazing to me. Giving Dollar Tree a one star in regard to their birthday balloon selection for boys. They only carry 1 themed balloon for a boy which is Spider-Man & all the stores are out of it so obviously their supplier is lacking. Dollar Tree needs to find a supplier for boy themed balloons/boy themed birthday balloons. Virtually their entire selection is for girls. Ok, everything is a $1. Of course with tax you go over but come on! $1!!!! I just picked up 4 dog toys for Duncan and he is having a ball right now playing with them! It's a great deal especially when you compare prices to Petsmart. The selection isn't as big but the price makes up for that. Every time my wife orders items online, we receive an email notification to pick these items up. Whenever I go to pick them up, the staff is incapable of bringing the items out because said items are still buried in the back of the stockroom. The store is always a mess with unstocked merchandise all over the floor in the middle of the day. They also seem to be understaffed at all times, and purchasing anything will result in a long wait in line. After this latest order, I am trying to encourage my wife to order items from another store. read more

On 12/4 I walked in Dollar Tree to find things I needed I wasn't able to find a few things and I had asked if I can speak to the manager to answer a few questions and he was not to be found.
