With "dollar" stores disappearing im glad dollar tree is still around. Even though a lot of stuff is made in China they do have a lot of personal items, snacksand baking items that are from all over the world. They have a great bread pudding mix that I add chocolate chips to and comes out great from Canada along with some cookies from Turkey that were great. I found some Korean face masks, Thai mascara, soaps and body stuff too. They have a great selection of cards, gift bags, staffers and snacks. The stores themselves are not always neat they do not have a lot of staff and sometimes the staff is running between stocking and cashiering. Lots of great stuff. Can you bring back the cans of boiled peanuts I haven't been able to find them lately, thanks. read more

Dollar Tree - Discount Store Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

Poor selection in this store. Rude workers. David the older cashier was horrible. No greeting, didn't acknowledge, went straight to scanning my items. Pointed at the machine when the receipt printed and told me get my own receipt. Thought maybe it was just a bad day but come to find out he did it to another customer who also wrote a review with the same experience. Horrible service, don't shop here if you're not of pale color. read more

Very bizarre that there is never any music playing in this store?? I don't personally care to eavesdrop on others conversation however the lack of any background noise/music/elevator music/todays hits... anything!!! It's just complete crickets, minus the voice of an angel (Keana) who was softly singing something beautifully! She was a joy as she helped check me out as well so overall I would give 5 stars to Keana - and a raise - but 1 star to the awkwardness and uninviting appeal overall of the store. read more

The workers that were working today 4/25/2026 were rude. I came to the checkout and there was one person in lane 3 and lane 4. I go to lane 3 because the lady in lane 4 that was checking out had quite a few items. So, I go to lane 4, and the cashier was counting the money the customer gave him to pay. Just as I walked up, he said "let me shut my light off so I can count." Didn't acknowledge me or say ma'am someone will help you at the other lane, nothing. Then David, an older gentleman working on lane 3 didn't greet me just scanned my items. Told me my total and I paid. When the receipt came up, he just pointed at it. I took his pointing as if he were asking me if I wanted it. I said "yes please" and he still pointed at it like take it myself from the register. I'm like what the? So you couldn't give it to me. I took my receipt. He didn't say bye have a nice day or anything, he just let me walk out. At least if they had self checkout like the one on Val vista the machine would have told me have a nice day. I know next time I will go out of my way to go to another Dollar Tree to avoid coming here again. Poor customer service from your workers. read more

who needs party city when you have the Dollar tree. This is a great store to come for all of your party needs or holiday decorations cards are also a great deal at two for a dollar. The cashiers could be a little friendlier, but they're efficient and get the job done. read more

Carla the cashier is very aggressive and rude. I got in her line and observed her being rude to both ladies that were ahead of me. She does not have a friendly demeanor and barks at you. I understand retail can be stressful but to be rude to every single customer is beyond me. read more

One of the best dollar trees i've been to! One of the best dollar trees i've been to!

Yep, another dollar store. This one is neatly organized and very spacious since it's in the building where Video Paradise used to be. There's a lot of variety in this store, from household supplies, party supplies, food, toiletries and more. They even have a small selection of pet supplies. Check out was fast with no problem. read more

The Dollar Tree on Alma School and Warner is really looking great. The new store manager has been working hard and it shows. A year ago the place was a mess..boxes stack so high in the isle I feared some child would be injured..or worse yet..me! I had avoided this Dollar Tree for a long time but it is the closest to the area I usual travel so I'm happy I can now feel comfortable! Good job!! read more

This is a perfectly decent Dollar Tree, not one of the huge ones so less merchandise. The only reason for 3 stars instead of more is that they don't seem to be as friendly in here as they are at the one on Chandler Boulevard near 101. However, it's a very convenient location since I go to other businesses near this intersection so it's one that I'm sure I will stop in whenever I need something I know I can only find at the Dollar Tree, as I did tonight. read more

I work at this Dollar Tree. I was called the worse customer service person ever tonight. Screamed at over the phone twice. Why do people think its Okay to do act like this. Yes there was a issue with her returning something. I actually lost the item with her receipt in the bag, another customer picked it . I did give her another item in exchange. Thank you for messing up my night! She will be calling corporate to get me fired! read more

I love Dollar Tree stores. This Dollar Tree quite often has items that other Dollar Trees have sold out of. That has happened for us three times now. I was looking for the Christmas salad bowls with holly and sure enough they still had them where 3 other stores were sold out. Yay great customer service too. read more

Walking in to this location is like a breath of fresh air! Jennifer, the manager has this store looking spectacular. Finally, a Dollar Tree that can be navigated without having to deal with such a mess. So much cleaner and safer than any other location I've visited any time that I can remember. Thank you so much. Make Jen the district manager, if there is such a thing. There is no excuse for these stores to be in the condition they are in. Thank you Jen!! read more

Terry is a gem and was extremely kind and let us come in and buy our item with one minute to closing time. Miranda, on the other hand, shouted at us three times "we're closed" even after Terry allowed us to grab our item. We were not the only ones in the store so they still had to wait for all those people anyway. It literally took us two minutes to get in and out and we're so thankful to have our New Year's Eve balloons to pop on the hour. Thanks Terry! Beyond this, the store is kept very clean and tidy and we enjoy shopping here. read more

WHY would you choose to close for cleaning for several hours on a Saturday, in the middle of the day, 2 mos before Xmas? Like you couldn't find a better time for this? Wasted trip to east valley specifically for this location. read more

Robert was my cashier and he was such a delight. I don't even live any where near there I just drove out of my way there because they had something I wanted in stock so the drive was worth it but my cashier was more worth it. Thank you Robert for the best customer service and putting a smile on my face. You deserve to be recognized! God bless you Robert! (Fun fact: Robert is my dads name and my moms name is Alma, how ironic that this dollar tree on alma school road gave me the best service because of cashier Robert.) I believe in blessings. read more

My issue is the unsupervised children. They run wild in the store, throwing balls that could easily hit an innocent bystander and no one says anything. The parents don't care and I'm sure the employee's are afraid they'll get hurt if they address it. The useless parents would only perk up if someone tried to control their kids. I rush to my car when exiting, nervous about the people that hang around in the parking area. I've never understood why beggers would beg outside a dollar store from people who are shopping for discounts and probably on a budget. I have to admit, this store scares me and I live a mile away. I had a begger, in the store, ask me for money. I'm going to drive farther to a safer area. The employee's are very nice. I've been to other Dollar Tree's that have a larger selection. read more

I was super excited that a Dollar Tree was opening right by my home. However this store is small, the selection is terrible and the three times I have been there, kids are throwing balls down the aisles with no parents watching them and the store employees letting them do it. The last time I couldn't even shop because balls were flying all over. I finally gave up and left the store. I plan drive farther to go to a better store. read more

I was super excited to see this place was going to open in my area- I love the Dollar Tree (especially compared to the other similar stores across the street). This location seems to have less inventory, less selection, and less of what I'd think would be cool to buy as far as party supplies are concerned. The staff is friendly- but I wonder if they are too friendly. I was in line (there was only one lane open)behind an elderly lady who was complaining about her legs. She went on and on about her surgery from 10+ years ago and well I was held hostage listening to her story because the cashier didn't make her stop talking. I kept looking at the time because I wanted to see if I should just drop my items and leave. It was only 5 minutes, but that's a very long time to be standing in a hurry- especially since they could have easily told her "I'm sorry m'am we have to get the rest of these customers checked out". I understand elderly people love the dollar tree, but so do I..and I got sh*t to do people!! lol read more

I came in looking for party supplies for a baby shower but I didn't see what I was looking for so I had asked the supervisor on duty Moises to see if maybe they had it in the back and If he can look for me as I've been to all the dollar trees in the surrounding area and was floored by his response!!!!! He was very rude and said he was busy but all he was doing was walking around the store on his phone. I am very upset on how he was towards me! read more
